It would have been easy to tell me there was nothing they could do. Instead, they talked with me, reviewed the situation, acknowledged the issue, and worked with me to reach a fair solution.
This behaviour matters more than any of the other times. Because anyone can provide good service when everything goes smoothly. Character is revealed when solving a problem is difficult or expensive. And theirs came through in spades.
