“I was having ongoing problems with my vehicle and took it to the dealership first. They were unable to properly diagnose the issue and eventually told me it was probably my transmission and that it would need to be replaced.? I decided to get a second opinion and brought it to C&S. After checking the codes on my vehicle, they explained that my transmission is actually fine and that the real issue is electrical, not mechanical. C&S was honest, thorough, and didn’t try to sell me an unnecessary repair. Very honourable and trustworthy business. I’m extremely glad I went there for a second opinion and would highly recommend them.? Thank you!!!”

“Super happy with my experience at Precise Mechanical. They were honest, straightforward, and explained what needed to be done now versus what could wait. They diagnosed and fixed the wheel bearing quickly, and my car finally sounds and feels normal again. Chris was great to deal with and I’ll definitely be coming back for the rest of the work. 5 stars.”

“Marshall, Clarence and the crew at Christensen Collision were amazing! On two recent occasions, I brought my car to Christensen to be repaired. Both times they did a fabulous job and yes, she’s pretty again! Dealing with car collision stuff is annoying and inconvenient ( especially when it wasn’t your fault!) but they made the repair process so easy and simple. Fingers crossed my repair days are behind me, but it’s comforting to know that the team at Christensen is there just in case.”

“Highly recommend Ron and his staff, very friendly and professional. Had multiple other places unable to fix or even look at my issue. Stopped by and chatted with Ron and he said he'd check it out no problem and was able to fix it. Vehicle has been running great since. I will definitely be coming here from now on for all vehicle needs going forward”

“This place is seriously amazing!!! I could never thank them enough, they took my car in on the first day they opened the shop, and did an amazing job. I now live on the mainland and still bring my car back because there is no other place that I would trust more to fix my car. They are extremely trustworthy, knowledgeable, and speedy. Thank you so much for all of your hard work!! I am forever grateful”

“Can’t say enough good things about this Shop, the staff and the quality of work they have provided me. I went in with an idea of what I would need, they communicated with me from start to finish. It was to me at least a big project and they were able to walk me through it from estimating the cost and the time. My new transmission is great. I even went back because I was concerned about an issue, which turned out to have nothing to do with the work but they took the time and diagnosed the issue and again clearly walked me through how to go about handling this matter. Big thanks to Steve and all the team for all their time and efforts. Can’t recommend them enough. Thanks!”

“Best auto electric repair guys in town! Very understanding and accommodating! We showed up with a JDM Toyota truck with electrical problems on a very ugly, cold and rainy day, from out of town, with no appointment. After being bounced by Toyota service department and Canadian Tire as a liability issue to repair, the guys fitted us into their busy schedule and helped within 2h, with no emergency surcharge! So humble and hard working! Highly recommend!!!”

“Amazing shop with kind people! I was heading up to the north end of the island and just gotten off the ferry when several dash lights came on. I called Hit Fair Auto, and they told me they would be happy to take a look and see what was going on despite me just calling out of the blue without any kind of appointment. Keith spent several minutes checking out my car, fixed the errors, and gave me suggestions on how to handle the situation if it happened again. If I lived here, I would definitely use them for all my car needs!”

“Unfortunately my Experience was horrible. Being qouted 710. For exhaust work and muffler replacement to 1359. Due to shop mistakes during muffler installation. This shop does not honor qouted price and did not replace my distributor broken at exhaust installation at Midas Hammond Bay. Also my tow was charged to me after my vehicle did not run after muffler installation and noone apologized. This will be escalated to Midas Canada.”

“Today was a challenging day coming home from an up island camping trip with my truck and 22 foot trailer. My radiator decided to split on the hottest day of the year. I was in a pickle. My first call was to ProMax and Larry answered the phone and immediately agreed to help. My truck was back on the road within two hours of arrival and we had a courtesy car as well! Larry is the kind of guy you can feel confident bringing your vehicle to for any needs. Honesty, reliability, and service are in full effect at ProMax.”

“I had an unexpected oil leak, and when I realized my car had run out of oil, I called Budget Brake and Muffler in a bit of a panic. Even though I was originally booked for the next day they took the time to tell me exactly what oil to use to safely top itup and me to bring it in as soon as I could. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They called me shortly after I dropped the car off, found the issue, and had it repaired quickly. Really appreciated their honesty, great communication and willingness to fit me in when it turned into something more urgent. Highly recommend!”
