“I just went to Jim today for the first time at Ridge Motors Auto Repair and Tires and he did a phenomenal job. Called me about what was wrong with my car and explained everything in great detail, way more than I can even understand haha. Sent pictures of the issue and when I came to pick up my vehicle he showed me my old brake pads/rotors and explained in depth what was wrong.
Very genuine and honest mechanic/person. I will definitely be returning for any future work needed for my Car.”
“First-timer at Mike's Quality Bodyworks and Refinishing this week, expecting (based on all the rave reviews) a fair estimate for rust repair on my beloved '93 Soobie. After he looked over the various rusted areas, what I got instead was an honest thorough (almost apologetic) breakdown of why the job would cost as much as it would, and what I could do instead to save myself the (gi-normous) expense. He encouraged me to consider doing the less complicated work (which is the majority) myself, at a fraction of the cost.
Mike recommended a product he uses on his own cars, and took the time to go over the prep, the application, the finish (all pretty simple). “Just another drive between Burnaby and Mission. Traffic was slow on Loughheed Hwy through Maple Ridge when I heard a strange clunking sound at the front of my car. I pulled over to see if it was my tires and fortuitously stopped in front of Westside Auto Repairs 15 minutes before closing time. They diagnosed, got the part, and got me all fixed up (past their closing time). Friendly. Helpful. Reliable. Excellent service. I highly recommend this shop!!”

Not only did they accommodate her but they were honest with us and what we thought was the problem - was not. They properly diagnosed it and saved us money in the long run. They took the time to explain what was wrong and it was very much appreciated. We will be using them for all future work!!! Merry Christmas!!!!”
“Great shop, had a flex pipe leak that would have cost me $1700 plus parts to replace the entire unit. They were able to cut out and weld on a new flex pipe and hanger. They kept me updated with any new little added repair that was required. I was also able to get my appointment the next day.

“We were at the beginning of a long road trip across Canada and the US when our van died on the middle lane of a busy street in Vancouver. We did know what to do. Our electrical system shut down. While waiting for a tow truck to arrive, Sherwin appeared out of nowhere and offered his help. He really knows what he is doing. He got it so we could push the van into a parking lot, where he diagnosed the problem and ordered the new parts. We got the van to his shop and it was repaired and ready by 10am the next morning. He is a miracle worker.
We are now home after our two month trip and we will never forget our hero who saved our trip!

“This Saturday morning I had an error code pop up on my mazda. I called start auto and was informed by Tim that they were jammed for the day and had no room for an emergency appointment. I called around, even reaching out to the mazda dealership in Pitt meadows to no avail.
