About Island Savings
Island Savings is generally a great place for banking and insurance. Most staff are very helpful and a pleasure to deal with, going above and beyond. However, one insurance staff member was unfriendly and disappointing. While the branch itself is good, calling the 1-888 number takes forever to get someone on the line, though phone service is helpful once connected.

Generally speaking, the Mill Bay Island Savings has been and is a great place to do banking and insurance. Unfortunately there is one staff member in the insurance area that really disappointed us. She came across as unfriendly and not really interested in helping people.

I have never had a problem at the branch itself but want to be able to call the branch direct. With the 1-888 number it takes forever to get someone on the line. When I did get someone on the line she was very helpful and we were able to deal with things over the phone instead of having to go in.
