About Kitties & Cream

Kitties & Cream is Vancouver Island's first cat lounge, offering a cozy space for 15-25 adoptable cats. Visitors can enjoy playing with the kitties while supporting a good cause by donating $5 or more. The shop features a wonderful selection of cat food, toys, souvenirs, and meowchandise from over 40 local artisans. Customers appreciate the attentive service and kindness of the staff, who provide helpful advice on cat introductions. While some find the prices a bit high and wish to see the cats through glass again, the overall concept and mission to help cats in need receive praise. Kitties & Cream is a great way to relax, shop, and support small businesses while making a difference for cats looking for homes.

    Stopped in while visiting Nanaimo for a conference. Was missing my kitties back home, and to my luck the cat lounge was unoccupied. The five kitties I visited with were lovely, got my feline fix and supported a great cause. ❤️🐾
