About University Village Mall
University Village Mall is a surprisingly good mall with a lot of food options, fast food variety. The mall has changed a lot over the years and now is a real shopping mall with a good range of restaurants. Stores are aimed at a downstream market and staff are friendly and helpful. People can get groceries, pet supplies, liquor store, value village, 7-11 and entertainment in live form and strolling around. Parking lot is usually terrible and there are druggies everywhere who light fires in the parking lot and huddle infront of stores. After around 9pm there are questionable people hanging around the 7-11 and legal marijuana store. The area is not a clean or safe place to be alone, but it is a decent mall with lots of parking and limited walkways.

University Village Mall is a surprisingly good mall. There are a lot of food options though generally of the fast food variety and not necessarily the healthiest of choices. That, along with the usual terrible Nanaimo parking lot do it down to four stars.

Visited western financial to insure our vehicles. They are very friendly and efficient.
Visited Buy Low Foods. Usually not crazy busy here and friendly helpful staff.
