“Nanaimo North Town Centre is somewhat limited compared with larger malls, but it has a good selection of useful stores. Fairway Market, London Drugs, RONA and the dollar store cover a surprisingly wide variety of everyday needs in one location. The mall is also conveniently located and easy to access. It may not have the selection of a major shopping centre, but what it does have makes it a very practical place to shop.”
“University Village Mall is a surprisingly good mall. There are a lot of food options though generally of the fast food variety and not necessarily the healthiest of choices. That, along with the usual terrible Nanaimo parking lot do it down to four stars.”
“Was all good until we used a cart to go to the marina with 4 cases of water and full groceries, part way there the wheels locked up, security feature. Learned from a passerby we can leave a deposit and ID to get a cart to use from the store. The teller knew and didn't tell us. Live and learn, good store though.”

“Nice mall in Nanaimo with all the stores I need. Good food court with a solid mix of options, plus a café and a Tim Hortons, and a movie theatre. Only thing I’d change is having it open later on more days — otherwise a great, easy place to shop.”
