“I am only in Vancouver for a bit over a week, but will for sure return again to miscellany! I saw firsthand how truly kind and patient Zainab is with everyone (myself included) who stopped in; how willing she is to engage with each customer and meet them exactly where they are. I did get a sweet Lynx print by Richard Shorty, who is no longer walking the earth, and I want to go back and get several more for gifts. Anyway, if you are in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, I cannot recommend a stop by miscellany more highly. Definitely 5 stars.”
“I found the selection here to be a bit hit or miss. It seems like they may carry older stock from stores like Plenty and Aritzia, and I noticed quite a few items had makeup stains or minor damage, likely because of that.
What stood out was that some of these damaged pieces were still priced over $20, which felt a bit high.
That said, there were also plenty of items in good condition around the same price range. While some pieces were priced higher than what you’d find at Value Village, they were still significantly cheaper than buying new.
I ended up finding some really nice, affordable pottery glasses, which was a win. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.”

“Such a cute store!! I came upon it by chance while walking by after having lunch at JJ Dosa up the road and what a little gem! The store is very well laid out with plenty of selection. Found some beautiful Aritzia pieces at such a great deal! Extremely happy with my finds and deals from earlier today!”

“Best thrift in East van! Super charming with great selection and great prices. Entire section for vintage finds and upscale pieces, without the similar upcharge the big thrift shops do on similar items. Tons of books, CDs and movies and plenty of furniture at very reasonable prices as well. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, always enjoy my visits even if I don't bring something home.”

“Great medium size thrift store helping out Royal Columbian Hospital. It was worth a hike up the hill! I found things well labelled and the organization manageable. Two large changing rooms available. A little boutique section in front as well as a more heavily discounted rack. The volunteers were very friendly. Definitely worth a stop!”
“I truly admire the dedication and faith of the owners, who are both devoted Christians and a pastor. Their generous contributions are truly inspiring. Every piece of second-hand clothing in their store is carefully selected, and the prices are extremely fair. Honestly, the quality is far better than Value Village. Thank you both for continually offering everything to the Lord Jesus.”

“This is a thrift store/coffee shop. It has new items weekly and sometimes daily. You can find a range of things like clothing, jewelry, art or gifts. They also have a lot of games. The prices are phenomenal. Everyone is friendly and helpful.”

They have a big box of spare armour pieces which is very appreciated as vintage gear often needs the internal armour upgraded/replaced.”

“This is my favorite place to thrift in the downtown area. They always carry interesting items, I would recommend coming here if you're looking for niche statement pieces or even if you're DIY-ing a costume. However, the prices can be over my budget sometimes.”

“Kind of tricky to find the entrance but it really is a gem! Books, clothes, household items, clothes all at rock bottom prices! The women’s clothes section wasn’t super big but you might find some treasures in there. Love it!”
“This thrift store is pleasant to shop in. Garments (mostly ladies) are clean and in good condition, well organized, easy to browse and there's a change room. There's a small book/games/puzzles/toys section as well. As with all donation based thrit stores, you never know what's available until you check it out. The free parking in the mall is a nice bonus. I'll be back.”

“I stop by this small, tightly packed store a few times a year. The lady behind the counter remembers me, acknowledges me and is always friendly. I would rather carefully peak through the merchandise at this store than Valu Village!!!”
“This is literally the BEST thrift store, hands down, that I’ve ever been to. Like every thrift store needs to follow this stores example. The clothes are always clean, they’re organized, usually super cute, and the prices are A+. They even do 50% off sales of certain sections like all the time, not sure if it’s weekly or how often, but every time I go in here there’s a sale going on. Like please let nothing happen to this place or its owners because they are doing an absolutely fantastic job. I’m so lucky to live in the area, and I will continue to support this place for as long as they stay just as amazing as they are. Thank you for not falling into greed like 90% of other thrift stores. Your community appreciates you. ❤️”

“Love this place. Variety of selection and styles. All the staff have been courteous and helpful. It’s nice that there are parking spaces in the back since parking can be hard to find in the area
However docking a star because the curtains in the change room need fixing there’s holes in some of them and the edges leave gaps which doesn’t feel very private.. and sometimes there are male workers attending the change room… I think it would be a better experience if they sewed up the holes or made it more private so everyone feels secure.”
