“On behalf of my wife who visits regularly, I do occasionally. She always finds something she didn't know we needed to wear, to use.I think she just likes a bargain and enjoys chatting with the lady volunteers. Space is a little tight but it's because there's always lots of things to choose from. Too bad they're closing at the end of January '23. The building is being torn down I believe. A loss for North Vancouver.”

“Pleasant surprise and I left with some great finds! If you want y2k, skate, streetwear types of clothes, this is a pretty cool spot. I remember seeing the shop on Google and passing since y2k fashion isn't my thing, but I happened to walk by the store and took a look. Staff were very nice, reasonable prices and a great variety (including higher end brands, all vintage) of stock. Looking forward to going back!”

“This was the best sales choice I have ever made. I gave her my items and she did all the work all the storage. And I got a fair price for everything I gave her. If you have nice leathers you don’t use anymore I can not recommend this consignment store enough. Thank you again re-rides you made this painless.”

“After a day of hitting 6 thrift shops, still fabulous was my 7th. I was ready to give up on my search for a 1920s style dress for my husband's work Christmas party. Thankfully Judy, the manager was super kind and patient and brought me tons of options. The selection was better than any of the for profit second hand stores on Main and the pricing was way better. Most of the shops on main overcharge but Still Fabulous was super fairly priced and from now on will be my first stop!”

“Lillian really came through for us with a request for a very small teak dining table with leaves. And she has her own mover who delivered everything with care. It is absolutely what we had hoped for at a reasonable price.”

“I enjoy popping in here every so often to have look. I have found some really great finds here but like all thrift/vintage stores it’s hot or miss. I like that this store gives back to the DTES, the community it’s in, through donating to PHS or Indigenous programs. The store also has a selection of local artists art like cards, paintings, pottery, patches, etc. the store is in the small side which is kind of nice because it’s not so overwhelming and is perfect for popping into every now and then to browse.”

“Best kept secret for furniture shopping in Vancouver! They have beautiful and quality items for low prices. I purchased a beautiful couch, desk, and chair all for $150 total. The employees are very friendly and helpful! The shop cats are also sweet company when browsing.”

“This store has a wide variety of styles and leans on the vintage side having lots of older styles. This is for women only and they also have a selection of jewelry from local artists. The store is kind of fun and sorts items by clothing type - shirts, skirts, dresses, jeans, pants, etc. so if you need something specific they make it easy to find.”

“like this store, it's well layed out and I can usually find at least one thing I'm looking for, my only complaint is I feel some of their clothes are overpriced compared to other thrift stores, Abbotsford still has the best thrift stores in the lower mainland”

“Very cool vintage thrift store! Love the vibe and set up. Great selection, everything clearly price tagged. Visiting for only a few days with small luggage so I couldn’t shop unfortunately. Definitely check them out if your local to this area of BC.”

“We love this place! Non pretentious. Almost every time we go here we find some kind of treasure. Whether it's a velvet cushion cover for $2 or a French boudoir light with milk glass & crystal droppings for $20. Musty and cheap and cheerful people Good cause for mental health charity non-profit and allvolunteerrun volunteer run”

“I was able to find different kinds of clothes and books that I'm very happy with. One peeve was not being able to find shoes in my size, but that's not really on them since they have no control over what's donated. In addition, it would be great if one could combine coupons at the store and not be limited to one at a time.”

“Awesome store and i was reading the reviews which one was super shocking. I do not think the owner “makes up” anything she is extremely nice and helpful. The prices are perfect for the items u cant find better”

“I love this store but could you please update your hours online when you’re going to be closed so I don’t come all the way down there? Currently you’re closed Monday’s until sept 17, it would be great if you could update online hours to reflect this.”

“I’ve been going to this store for decades (yes, over 20+ years when they were just one tiny little store on Main). In the past, it was easy for me to purchase items from them but now, I’m older and well, the clothes target a younger audience.I’ve had good experiences with the staff there (not as a consigner) and found the store great for quirky items.I miss seeing some of their local designers / local repurposed clothing.I will continue to go there as it has a fun atmosphere and let’s be honest, they have great window displays!”

“I have been shopping at the SPCA Thrift Store, New West for over 2 years.I regularly receive a warm greeting! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of thrift stores, there is no weird smell when you enter the store.I mentioned my observation to the owner and found out things are washed and ironed or steamed. Everything is clean.I continuously manage to find more than I planned on…going home with many purchases such as clothing, kitchen items, shoes and so much more.I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a wonderful way of getting great quality items for a fraction of the cost of new!”

“The place it very good for getting clothing at a discounted price. Keep on mind that it is second hand clothing but it is most in good condition. Improvements? Should have more selection in men's category.”
