“The team at Bone & Biscuit (Newport Village) was amazing. My dog was really sick with stomach issues, and they took the time to help me find foods he could actually tolerate. They even wrote detailed notes and instructions for me, which helped so much.

Their kindness, patience, and support made a huge difference during a really stressful time. I’m so grateful for them — this is now my go-to store for my dog.

Highly recommend their team!”

“Bought a cake for my dog's 1st birthday the turnaround was great and quick. It was a great addition. However the bone was pretty big for one dog and I didn't really enjoy it. I will make sure that the dog likes it, before we buy it. I would give 5 overall but my dog didn't like it.”

“Understanding and friendly staff. There was 2 bags of acana cat dry food that were unopened that I bought from this store almost a year ago and I told them my cats stopped eating this brand because they got addicted to other food brands, so they let me exchange the unopened bag with the hills dry cat food that they will eat”

“I absolutely love this company, the two locations in Langley are owned by a Vet and his wife who are so very knowledgeable about the nutrition of Dogs and cats.
Their prices are very competitive, better than most smaller pet food stores!
They are accommodating too, I like a certain brand they only carry in there location that's about a 25 min. Drive from me, so once a month There bring in 2 bags of the preferred brand to the willoughby town center location for me.
I highly recommend shopping with the Bone and Biscuit Langley locations for all your pet food needs.

“If you are looking for a healthy alternative to dry kibble for your fur baby, BowWow is the perfect choice. My dogs get excited when they hear their plates, practically jumping up and down and prancing in circles. If I am late, they let out gruffs and barks to remind me it is their mealtime. And walk time has little waste if you know what I mean, because the food has no fillers.I would also like to point out that my vet said my oldest dog is in excellent shape for a soon to be 16 year old dog. I attribute this to the food.Emma is a pleasure to do transactions and chat with, and her husband is always friendly. Both are helpful and payment is easy.Give them a try.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional service and genuine care ?? Jamie ?

I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by Jamie at the Bosley location in Port Coquitlam.

During my visit, my husband accidentally dropped a container of salmon oil while our dog was very excited about the treats. I became extremely nervous, not only about the mess, but mainly about the safety of other pets who could potentially slip or get hurt.

Jamie immediately noticed how anxious I was and handled the situation with remarkable calm, kindness, and professionalism. She went far beyond what is expected, reassuring me, taking care of everything promptly, and making sure the environment was safe.

Her empathy and awareness made a stressful moment feel completely manageable. Experiences like this are what truly differentiate a great store from an average one.

We absolutely love this store and the entire staff. Jamie represents the very best of customer service.

10/10, or better yet, 1,000,000/10. Highly recommended.”

“Just some much needed context to the two sisters reviews below
- when Bridget came to adopt a cat she was told the one she wanted was part of a bonded pair and ethically rescues won’t separate them but there were other single cats available. She CHOSE, as an adult with free will, to take the bonded pair
- she was made aware of the potential exposure to feline leukaemia from the start (and even asked if that meant they had cancer) - and still decided to take them as a foster to adopt. What she did, or did not, communicate to her sister is between them. What she researched herself is also unknown, but was given full details on the risks
- nothing was hidden from them, that’s why they were given the same “foster to adopt” option that others with potential exposure cats were given. I supposed they never asked themselves “if it was trying to be hidden… why would there be a foster to adopt period to cover the length of time where symptoms arise and the tests needed? If they were trying to hide it.. why wouldn’t they just adopt them out and not say anything?”
- they then CHOSE to get a THIRD kitten from elsewhere and exposure that kitten to the pair Bridget chose to foster to adopt. Ironically, that kitten got sick with something else entirely, which does unfortunately happen, but they’re not realizing that what they did was actually expose the two foster to adopts that they supposedly love to whatever illness the third kitten they brought in had
- at some point around this time, they must have realized that given the exposure concerns, they could have gotten the original two cats ill, and decided to concoct a story so they could have them returned asap before they had any other vet bills, due to their irresponsible ownership
- this is the point where, days before the final test for feline leukaemia (which again, was explained to her that it’s not cancer) they decided to return them. For the record none of the other foster to adopts have had this issue - just them - and not ironically around the time they exposed those kittens to the illness of their third
- despite them having these kittens for 5-6 weeks, they decided to drop them back off and not wait for the tests to come back, having known from the beginning that the first week of December was the test date. It’s always unfortunate when people decide to return their animals as it’s quite stressful for the cats, especially when the person comes in screaming in the store and has to be kicked out. Luckily the rescue will be able to find them a home where they are actually loved and cared for and unfortunately have to foot any vet bills due to the exposure the sisters irresponsibly allowed to happen to the third sick cat they brought in

Responsibility for our actions is a hard thing to learn, especially for two young women who seem to be quite entitled and gas each other up (for instance, at one point it was alluded to that Bridget driving was somehow an issue that the rescue should contend with… not sure if she just had her license removed because otherwise that meant that they chose to adopt knowing she couldn’t drive so how is that a rescues issue?) but just further shows the frame of mind here

Context matters, what could have been a good moment for personal growth and reflection seems to have turned into undue anger towards a rescue that acted ethically and were upfront the entire time.

The cats are in a loving and responsible foster home, awaiting the tests that are most likely to come back negative at this point

** edit as of December 7 - all cats have come back negative for FeLV. Again, this was information given to potential adopters out of an abundance of precaution, where NO money was given and foster to adopt for the length of time possible exposures would occur was given.”
