“We had an incredible 3 day stay at OPUS Vancouver, I wish it had been longer! The staff were friendly and helpful from check in and throughout our stay. All of the staff we met were lovely but I would like to give a special shout out to Auston who we saw most days. The hotel has curated a wonderful team to greet and assist guests.
The room was clean and the location is ideal, you're steps away from the Sky Train and a bunch of restaurants, coffee shots, and the waterfront. Hope to be back soon. <3”
“Here for a conference.
Room booking was seamless on the app. Hotel was located in a great spot. Restaurants close by.
Rooms were spacious and conference area was perfect size for the group.
1. You MUST request electronic key BEFORE checking in. Cant request them at the desk upon checkin.
2. Restaurant in the hotel was closed on Monday
No indication anywhere on site or online.

“Great hotel that served as our home base for a few nights in Vancouver. We booked a harbour view room that was clean and had incredible view. We loved that we were walking distance to everything Vancouver has to offer. Service across the board was incredible and really a shining star at this hotel — multiple front desk staff, security, bartenders, cleaners, — and make this hotel one to book. As multiple reviews suggest, you are on the edge of a slice of downtown that has some issues, but we never felt unsafe and would absolutely stay again and recommend this hotel.”
“Stayed in December of 2024 for the Taylor Swift Concert. This was quite close to the metro to get downtown, was very close to a large variety of shops and restaurants - so we could stay close to our hotel. It was also directly across from a shopper's drug mart and grocery store which was incredibly convenient!”

“The Columbia hotel is located at 303 Powell Street Columbia it is right in the heart of the downtown Eastside where all drugs are sold in and out of the building and there's nothing being done and they will kick you out when they feel it is right”
“The Empress was a hangout of mine in 2015 on weekends.
Always a lively place, I used to hang out for a bit have pints and play pool.
Someone's always playing cool music there too. Awesome memories in that place.”

“We were booked this hotel by the airline that cancelled our flight. We wanted to leave this review for the two ladies working the front desk on the night of 2/28. After a 20+ hour day of travel, the last thing you want to do is check into a hotel after a cancelled flight. Upon entering, these ladies had a warm and friendly smiles and made check in a breeze. Any questions and requests that we had were resolved extremely quickly. Thank you!”
