Long wait time. I was lining up on the fourth place and it took me around 30 minutes to get to the counter. There are nine counters that can serve clients, but only four of them are opened which is not the normal case because most of the time they only open two or three counters.Not sure why HSBC doesn't open more counters when it is crowd. If they let those 4 to 5 employees who are sitting at the back to get to the front, it will definitely help to speed up the line.If any of you want a quicker service, you can try the Aberdeen branch, I highly recommend it.

They have terrible procedures...It takes almost an hour to close an account I don't need and have not used for a while ...The same task took 5 minutes at TD BankGoodbye HSBC, I hope not to need you EVER again...

Trying to get my card from HSBC Hong Kong sent to Canada is needlessly complicated. Thanks to Yoko Chan, the Premier manager that helped me verify and send my documents. Much better service than the Aberdeen location, who wouldn't even try to help me. 5 star review for Ms. Chan, negative 5 stars for HSBC as a "global" bank.

I would give negative stars if I could. waited 40mins in line to see a teller. Took almost AN HOUR to have 3 drafts issued from my account. Are they making papers from scratch at the back?!??! It’s 2023 and how is simple banking transactions like this still so difficult at hsbc. I cannot understand.

Poor service ever, stood there for 20 minutes and no one cares. Front desk staff busy working on her own and ignore the long line up. With such an largest international bank,Please pay more attention to your customer service

I asked them to close one of my accounts and was assured that it will be closed in a day. Checked back after a few months and low and behold, the account was never closed and I had a negative balance due to interest! Such terrible communication and had to spend hours resolving the issue.

Absolutely the worst service i have seen. Wendy deserves a Double 0, i was there to get a Draft she had asked for 6 different id from me to prove my ID. After those were provided she asked me where i work and how long i worked with their address, where do i live and how long i have lived there. Also she made me show my hsbc canada app also i made a wire payment from uk hsbc she made me show that too. As a former banker it was borderline harassment and felt I was at a jail instead of a bank due to interrogations.i have few other hsbc accounts around the world this was the worst branch hands down.

Always around 40 mins standing on the line to get service. Clerks do speak very poor English with a heavy accent. Unable to understand basic questions and provide quality service. They are robots reading from a script. No way trying to ask something outside the script, they will just keep repeating themselves. I don’t blame them but it is sad to see how management is dealing with Canadian customers. I am so glad that this bank is being sold to RBC.

Absolutely garbage branch, you need to wait at least wait 30mins for personal banking.Security guard is extremely rude and disrespectful. I don’t know how they can still go have this place open.

The line up is terrible. Personal, Premier and Jade in the same under serviced line. The lady behind me had a question about GICs and the security guard was the only person to help direct her (in correctly in my opinion). Also no WiFi during the line up.

Went up to general inquiries and asked but the lady behind the desk didn't even let us explain. She kept assuming and explained to her finally that it was via the checking account and not the credit. She kept talking over us and saying credit...And we know about the issue, we just want to stop it. She wouldn't even let us explain why we couldn't. She just didn't listen overall.Made us feel inadequate and she was super rude yelling and fighting.I've never been in a place where an employee fights with the customer.

Anna is an absolutely useless biz account rep. Completely messed up the transaction. I had to revisit a second branch in order to resolve it.
