This is Eric.
We used to shop at Pricesmart regularly for the past 12 years but not as frequent anymore. The staff are rude and I just encountered another incident just now that really drives me away from this store.
I bought stuff for $25 and I gave the cashier $100 bill. She shouted at me in front of other customers that I took all her money in her cash box.
I guessed enough is enough and I should just stay away from here.

The mix of Asian and North American products make it a one stop shop. Bakery is lackluster, but the deli has great BBQ.

This is my first time walking into a price smart, I got a points card this afternoon. But when I used my card the balance is negative, which is weird that my first time walking into this store and I got a negative 49balance points card. The employee there told me it’s negative because someone used this card to refund a vinegar. ????? This is not my responsibility of needing to know why it’s negative, isn’t the store’s problem of having a used card into new card pile for new customers …..

The worker at costumer service called (RUTH) was super rude and had attitude. My roommate and I had 34 bottles to return but she didn’t get 10 of them and she refused it in a very unprofessional and disrespectful way. I understand they take 24 bottles per day per person but few weeks ago I returned 41 of them and they didn’t say anything. If they don't want to get more than 24 it’s okay, I understand it but why she is being rude to customers? She was even rude with other girl working there and talked with her in a way like if she is the boss. Overall her behaviour was very rude with low manner for a person who works in COSTUMER SERVICES.

PriceSmart in Richmond is a hidden gem for anyone who loves Asian cuisine and groceries. The selection of Asian goods is outstanding, offering everything from specialty ingredients to everyday staples. The dim sum here is fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Their hot Asian dishes are equally impressive, perfect for a quick, delicious meal. The bakery is a delightful surprise, with a variety of freshly baked goods that are hard to resist. On top of that, the service is consistently friendly and efficient, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you're shopping for groceries or grabbing a bite to eat, PriceSmart is a go-to spot in Richmond. Highly recommend!

We were there this morning, line up to pay there is one customer infront of us and unfortunately she is an employee, it takes time scanning her items as they keep on doing price adjustments to all the items she had and there are times that they can't figure out what code to use so she is the one punching the code instead of the cashier. I ask if there are other cashiers open besides her and one more she answered me rudely making face and laugh at us. This kind of employee shouldn't work in a customer service with this kind of attitude.

$2.00 for a cloth bag ftom this store is way overpriced. The same item costs 25 cents or 50 cents from other stores.
