Avoid this tire center. I get my seasonal tires changed at Costco every season. Have been to many other Costco in the past and it has been flawless. This tire center is the worst. First they called me few hours before the appointment that they need to reschedule me as their machine is broken. Guy mentioned on the phone that I can come early in the morning and he will get it done in 30 minutes. He mentioned that he will come early to serve customers they could not serve today. When I went there, they said that it will take 2 hours. Essentially they put me in first come first serve queue. If I knew that, I would have gone to another Costco which is like 12 mins from my place rather than driving 40 minutes in the dark early morning. When I got my car, it did not have wheel cover. When I asked, they said that wheel cover is not compatible with your tires. Even though I have been using these for 5+ years what???Later I realized that one nut was missing from my wheel lock kit. After getting stressed and searching frantically, I found that on the car floor.

Hello All,Been here for fixing new tires with an appointment but had to wait nearly 5 hours to get the Job done. There is something seriously wrong here as I see many other reviews too mentioning about the delay. Please inform by phone if its going to take such long wait time as people can make travel arrangements before reaching there, its not acceptable that you inform people after reaching that you will take 4 hours to fix 4 tires. Hope situation improves soon.

Booked in for tire installation which is typically done within 1.5hr. When we came in for the appointment, we were told 1.5-2hrs. We dragged our shopping at costco as long as we can. When we came to pick up our car 10 min shy of 2 hrs, it wasn’t even started. The staff says are you able to wait one more hour? If i will be sitting around 3 hrs, I would have made a different arrangement. Not had this issue at Langley Costco Tires. Now I am listening to another customer dropping off for their appointment and told they need 4 hours. He’s taking his money back. They obviously overbooked themselves. My appointment was at 9:45 am, one of the first ones available. No apologies, they act like it’s my problem that I can’t wait around 3 hrs. She tried to find the manager for us to talk to and came back saying he’s not around. Do not book at this location if you can help it.

Customer service is spectacular from the mechanics! I felt bad that they had to stay later than their closing hours to fix everyone's cars booked for the day, and yes, it did take a while to get mine done - but I also acknowledge that they could be shortstaffed, or that other vehicles just had more problems than what they were there for.. so I really do appreciate them working overtime to make sure they get it done and also just for being nice (even after a hectic day!). Kindness really does make a difference. :)

A week or so after buying new tires at Costco in Surrey I received a call fromthe Tire Shop Manager, Robbie, thinking that they made a mistake and installed the wrong tires. Sure enough, they did and I had unfortunately received a lower grade tire. As a family member required my vehicle, Robbie suggested I come right away and he would install the correct tires himself. Robbie was extremely apologetic about the error and I received a gift card as a result on the inconvenience of coming in at 8pm. Often as a woman I have gotten shafted as do not know any better. This was one of these situations as I did not know. I thank Robbie immensely as each tire I bought was 60 dollars more than what was initally installed. This situation demonstrates the integrity that is present at Costco Surrey. Many many thanks Robbie.

Had a terrible experience in the tire shop today. David and an older lady with white hair (tied up in a bun, blue ish rimmed glasses, about 60yr old, blue uniform, her name might be Tatiana?) both contributed to this unacceptable experience. As someone that spends thousands of dollars at Costco every year, they should really provide better customer service. I asked for my tires to be rotated, they weren’t. Between tires on one axel, one tire would have more tread and the other less. This can be observed on both axels. On top of that, the wait was long. You would think booking an appointment saves you some time, it doesn’t. A guy that arrived after me left before me. This leads me to think they’re honouring all appointments even if they’re late which I think is a bad system. Online, it asks us to arrive 15mins early, and for what??? I went up to the counter when my car was parked in the parking lot when it was done (I had seen it in the shop), and I asked for my keys but the old lady ignored me. Later on, she tried to tell me it would take 5 hours? I kept on waiting until it was about 4pm and the older lady shouted to ask if anyone else had appointments, and I asked if I could pick up my car keys because my car was DONE, and she ignored me again. Am I invisible or is she deaf? David was helping other customers with tires, which was fine, but when he was done I was hoping he would help me out. Spoiler alert, he didn’t. He put his binder on the counter and walked out? Are customers really valued here?Costco stamped my car “out” at 3:38pm but I wasn’t able to pick up my car until 4:20pm. I was shopping in that time and was planning to buy meat but put it back because the tire shop was taking too long.To add on, last year, they charged me over $100 for tire changed because my tires “weren’t from Costco.”Overall, terrible experience. The only person that treated me with respect was one of the guys working in the shop. I didn’t catch his name but thank you for being a better person than your coworkers.I serviced my car on December 12, 2023. Costco needs to fire some of their tire shop workers.

Horrible experience where my wheel lock wasn't returned and then given a run around by one of the employees when I showed up to pick it up because they had to do an "investigation." Had to go back a second time after the manager got involved and fixed the situation.Super busy location with not enough employees who care about the customers...

They're very poor in managing the appointments. They started work on tire change 3 hours after appointment time and took more than 4 hours in total.

Worst experience ever. The staff at front desk doesn’t even know the meaning of customer service and how to deal with customers. They have just one person at front desk when there is huge line up. I request them to hire some professional and educated people for front desk.

Had an appointment for 3:30 pm. Was told it was going to be an hour and a half to install winter tires. 4:30 pm roles around and I’m told just another 15 minutes and your good to go. I casually walk outside and notice my car is not in the bay and still in the parking lot with a red number attached to the roof of my car. I see a technician holding my keys walking to my car. It’s now 5:10 pm and my car just got into the shop roughly an hour and a half after my SCHEDULED appointment. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment? Yes I was given an apology but I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours now waiting for 4 winter tires to be mounted and put on. Regardless of the rebate and savings I can honestly say it’s sub par communication. I think I’ll be going else where next time. Who knows when my vehicle will be done.I’ll update this review when I finally get my vehicle back.
