“This place is a hidden gem, or at least it was hidden for me. I wish I knew about it sooner. Their selection of Plywood and hardwoods is excellent, and the quality compared to anywhere else in town that I have tried is a big step up. And the prices are less than the big box stores. It’s not huge inside, but still has a great selection.
The staff was super friendly, and even though I am just a hobbyist and so will not be ever buying huge quantities, they were super helpful.
If you need plywood or hardwoods for your next project, you have to check this place out first.”
“I needed a clear panel with a hole cut for the exhaust vent of an air conditioner. When i got it it was cut to size but i was unable to insert it . I took it back. They said they would attach it or make a new one.
Great attitude and they did get it attached ,nothing wasted .My condo faces south and if the hose wont connect my temp hits the low 80s
While i was there i looked at an amazing collection of anything to do with using ,installing , cleaning and actually making things from plastic, solid or liquid.

“Lee Valley has long been a favorite store. It has unique stock, solutions to problems that can seen impossible (and problems you didn't even know you had), with all kinds of cool gadgets and tools for kitchen, workshop, and garden that I've never encountered anywhere else. The jar opener is excellent, I love the gentle surgical brushes, and a recent purchase -- a vase cleaner featuring tiny ball bearings -- worked perfectly and immediately to get rid of residue that had been resistant to soaks in water, then vinegar, then lemon juice. Always something new and interesting in stock, and the catalogues are fun to peruse. Thank you to staffer Marie, who was so pleasant, lovely to chat with.”

“Absolutely amazing service! Thomas was so friendly and helpful. Our store has about 30 sets of drawers that were all installed about six years ago and because they’re used heavily, they’re all starting to fall off the tracks and warp under pressure etc.. The guys that helped me told me exactly what I needed to bring in and they were so fast and making sure that I had the exact right part to go back to my shop with. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I wish the pricing was lower, but I’m not a contractor and they had what I needed on a walk-in basis, which was absolutely amazing! Way to go Richelieu!”

“The Oakville location is amazing. I needed a specific part asap while doing repairs and Gabriella went above and beyond to make it happen. There were so many basic things I couldn't do as a customer due to the situation, location, wifi ext.... I was even distracted with managing the repairs while on the phone with her and she never got frustrated and worked through every obstacle with me.
