“I had such a wonderful experience at the Trader Joe's in west Hills today. Heather was incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely thoughtful. She went above and beyond to help me with my flowers, and her warmth and positive attitude truly made my day.
The young woman at the register was also so friendly and helpful. Together, they made my shopping experience feel welcoming and special. It's not often that you come across employees who show this level of kindness and customer care.

“I had to take a moment to recognize Samer at Trader Joe’s in Simi Valley for providing some of the best customer service I’ve received in a very long time!
I went in today to purchase flowers and had quite a few bouquets. Samer immediately offered me a bucket to make carrying them easier. I asked if the bucket was complimentary, and when he said yes, I said, “Oh wow, okay! Do they come with water?” Without hesitation, he said he could definitely put some water in it for me. He ran to the back and added some water to help keep my flowers fresh on the drive home—especially important since it was over 100 degrees outside!
It may seem like a small gesture, but it made such a big impression on me. I’ve purchased flowers there before that unfortunately didn’t make it through the heat, and when that happened, the manager was incredibly helpful and replaced them without any problem.
Trader Joe’s is already known for great customer service, and every visit I’ve had at the Simi Valley location has been pleasant. But Samer truly went above and beyond today. His kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to do something extra for a customer is exactly what exceptional customer service looks like.

“Well, tonight is pasta night at home. Yes, Grandma's famous recipe. Trader Joe's had all the ingredients today and of course we could not replicate Grandma's famous sauce so we bought a recommended sauce from Italy.
The store was busy and so was the parking lot. Great store and helpful staff.

“Outstanding store we drive from La crescenta to Moorpark to shop here. Enough said ? The place is immaculate the people all converse with you unlike Montrose and lacanada stores where the employees are mostly rude and make you feel rushed and add to that zero parking”
“...i was so happy we finally stopped here instead of the usual grocery store, just needed a few things for the week and somehow walked out with way more. the frozen food section is always a mess but in a good way, i grabbed those orange chicken bites again and theyre still teh best quick meal i can make after work. its pretty busy even on a tuesday afternoon but the cashiers are so fast they keep the line moving which i apprecieate a ton. i also love that they have alot of interesting snacks you wont find anywhere else, my freind found some honey peanut butter i didnt even know existed. parking lot is a little tight but it wasnt that bad when we went. would definately go back next time im craving something easy and fun.”
“Love this place! Their deli type of stuff (tuna salad, hummus etc) is delicious and well-priced. Their shawarma chicken (pre seasoned in the fridge) is so good, I get some every single week. And they have the best pita this side of the Mediterranean! Owner and staff are super sweet, too!”

“I’m not the kind of guy who is big on writing reviews! I had to make an exception in this case… I met Lisa the last time I was at the Westlake store. Lisa was so pleasant and went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for. People today don’t go out of their way to help people and make them feel like a priority. This store is sometimes out the way for me, but I would drive the extra miles when I’m low on my vitamins just to get the kind of service she provided!!”
“First time I visited Wed last week and the staff are very warm and caring, all are very helpful and then I came back Fri both in the morning and afternoon and they made me felt I am one of them and treated like a member of their family - If there are 100 stars I will give it to them in a heartbeat. “If you're looking for the best Mexican food in the West San Fernando Valley, look no further than Carnicería Rodriguez. The menudo here is absolutely top-notch—rich, flavorful, and authentic. Every bite brings that home-cooked taste you can only get from a place that takes pride in its food. The rest of the menu is just as excellent; everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. Whether you're picking up something for a quick meal Carnicería Rodriguez never disappoints. It's easily the best Mexican spot in the area! Highly recommend!”

“I stopped by this marketplace when I was in the plaza visiting another store. I was looking to get a quick bite so I thought this grocery store would have something. I found parking easily since I came in the morning and the place wasn't busy.
When I walked inside, they have the liqor on the left side of the store. The produce area is right at the entrance. I walked to the deli area on the right side of the market but I didn't see any pre packaged food. So I walked toward the back where the meat was and I didn't find anything there either. They have some fish out on the floor for customers to get themselves.
I didn't find any quick bite in the store to get so I didn't purchase anything here.”
“OK so I go in Albertsons and I get a coffee from the Starbucks in there and Vanessa was just so hospitable and kind. She brightened my day and I had a very stressful day so it really meant a lot. Thank you, Vanessa.”

Good product selection, at very reasonable prices.
Just made a couple of burgers from the Prime Rib Ground Beef yesterday, added some salt, black pepper, garlic powder and a pinch of basil. Juicy, very tasty, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten!
We also bought two packages of 85/15 grass fed ground beef under the buy 2 get a discount program. Can't wait to try this too.
Bought frozen fruit, as well as some frozen garlic and basil in pop out packaging which allows me to get the effect of fresh spices, in single use doses. Convenient.
Oh, and Kikkoman low sodium Soy Sauce, large bottle for around $4. Can't wait to get back here Again ?.”
“What a great little shop. The only other grocery in Simi I know of that at all compares is Valley Marketplace, but the selection here is much broader.
Tons of flours, masalas, snacks, and other ingredients. Additionally, there are a selection of fresh desserts and hot foods, including $1.50 samosas!
There is also a surprisingly well stocked British import selection, which is good to know if the need arises.”

“As a Korean, I am so happy to found here ! There are various stuff including Korean and Japanese food. Also as a coffee lover, i was happy to find various coffee creamer. Today, I bought pistachio coffee creamer, dark chocolate almond milk etc. I never see this type of drink so happy to try it!

“Gelsons is just... Nice. Clean, organized, thoughtful, and elevated. A pleasure to shop at.
They don't have the absolute largest stock; if you're looking for exotic ingredients it's not a guarantee. But they do have lots of unique products, and everything they do have is quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh British bangers last time I visited!
The cashiers, also, are very friendly and quick, which is such a nice thing in the current era.”
“I've been shopping at Vons for over 40 years. It's kind of a love/hate relationship. I become so frustrated when I accept a digital coupon and purchase the item and come home to find out that I did not get the sale price. That happens frequently and it ticks me off. Also, Vons is absolutely one of the most expensive grocery stores you can shop at besides than Gelson's. I oftentimes grab items off their shelf that are clearly marked at a certain price, yet I get home and look at the receipt and no such price there. I don't know if it's a game or an honest mistake, I just don't know. What I do like is the store is big and it's bright and their cashiers are somewhat friendly and the people at the deli counter are friendly and try to be fast. Other than that, their meat counter in the back of the store is staffed by very helpful people, very kind, and I rarely ever have a bad experience in the store other than paying absurdly exorbitant prices for the same items sold in other stores for much less, or not receiving the coupon price on dozens and dozens of items over the years.”
“This is THE BEST supermarket. Its got way more choices than costco and no membership fee! They have parallel products to all your favorites at Trader Joes. I get 50 pounds of *fresh* onions for $11 and give them to my friends! Products that I used to get on amazon for $12 is $3.75 here. Sweet staff too. I never shop anywhere else.”

“The team at my neighborhood Aldi is nothing short of AMAZING. Their helpfulness and warm personalities keep me coming back time and time again. Manager Eric is incredibly sweet and always goes above and beyond to help.
There’s also a cashier—I wish I remembered his name—who is not only efficient, but absolutely hilarious and, most importantly, kind. Every time my mother visits from New Jersey, he remembers her and even brings up something from her last trip. That kind of attention to detail and genuine care is so rare.
The folks at this Aldi create such a nostalgic, heartwarming sense of community.”
