The checkout was pretty quick! A guy came by, scan our Costco membership and scan our stuff while the cashier was helping someone else. Once it was our turn, everything ranged up and all we had to do was pay!

“I want to take a moment to recognize Sonia and especially Mike from the Apparel Source team for their outstanding support.
We recently faced a difficult situation when a shirt order was delayed for reasons outside of their control. The timing was critical, as the shirts were already on press for an upcoming event. Sonia went out of her way to quickly find a solution, and Mike went above and beyond by driving miles out of his way to personally ensure the shirts were delivered on time.
Their efforts made all the difference. Instead of leaving us to manage the fallout from the delay, they showed that they truly care about us as a client and were willing to do whatever it took to minimize the impact.

“I love Costco! I've only used their gas for the last ten years. I usually buy the basics like dairy, eggs, toilet paper, avocados at Costco before I go other places because the prices are almost, 100% of the time, better. Always buy my electronics from Costco. I get cash back annually with the Executive card, so in the end it doesn't cost extra to have it.”
“This is our fave bay area location. The staff is excellent & friendly. They reach out to see if I need assistance every time I am there while voicing admiration for my ability to handle the large carts with a wheelchair. The gas station staff ALWAYS cheerfully comes and helps me pump gas (it is dangerous to try and deploy my lift and exit the vehicle in my wheelchair to pump it myself). My only complaint would be the location is too popular ? meaning it is often busy and can be hard to find wheelchair lift van parking because people with hang tags aren't taught to leave the van accessible spots for people whose vehicle specifically needs that much extra space to deploy a lift.”

“I'm working on a kitchen remodel and needed a few sheets of walnut plywood and 4/4 lumber for a cabinet. After exchanging a few emails with Jack, I visited their showroom and he offered to give me a tour of their warehouse. They have huge selection of hardwood plywood (best I've found in the east bay) and both rough and surfaced lumber.I picked out the sheets I wanted and they showed up the following afternoon. For someone without a lumber rack, free next-day delivery is an absolute life saver.It would be nice if they could display prices on the labels in the warehouse but that might not be feasible due to the fluctuation in pricing.”

I went down that Friday afternoon to see low supply, and the employee told me to come back at 6AM to get fresh pickings. Wnen I did, everything I needed was there!”

“The last time I was at Costco I picked up several bottles of various red wines and two bottles of the same white, accidentally. I gave one of the whites to my book group hostess and plan to give the other to my neighbors. I liked all the reds so when I had drunk them all I decided to return to Costco to buy more. When I brought one bottle to dinner w/ my next door neighbors' last week they told me that a friend of theirs had purchased a Kirkland brand Châteauneuf-du-Pape which was reasonably priced and excellent. This year's supply is sold out, so we'll have to wait until next year. Today I chose several more bottles, some new to me and some repeats from my last purchase. The prices of Costco wines range from inexpensive to OMG, so there's something for every pocketbook. I'm not sure whether they offer a case discount because I've never bought a case there. Trader Joe's doesn't and BevMo does. I have a dim and possibly untrustworthy memory of buying half a case at Costco and being offered a discount, but either my memory is faulty or they no longer do that because I wasn't offered one today. In any event, the wines are good and I like supporting Costco.”

“I recently had an issue with my 1998 Honda CRV and I was pretty certain that it meant replacing the alternator, which I was told can be a rather expensive fix. I called around several mechanics in my area. Some wouldn't let me bring my own part (which I wanted to do to save a little money), some were too busy to fix it ASAP (which I wanted to do since I need my car to drive for my job and it didn't start at all). I called Salim at ASA and he was so patient and kind said I could bring the part since he didn't have it and he could probably do it by the end of the day (it was already about 1pm at that point and I still needed to get it towed to his place!). After getting it to his place he jumped into action and quickly realized, to my relief, it was the belt, not the alternator. He ordered the part quickly and got it in in a snap, staying late to make sure it was done properly. I asked if I should go ahead and replace the alternator and he was honest with me that it didn't need to be replaced (even though another mechanic might tell me to replace it as well since it's old so that he can charge more). Salim even called the next day to make sure the battery had charged properly overnight. I cannot recommend his service enough! He was very kind and capable and will go back to him with all of my mechanic needs, not just alternators and starters, in the future. Thank you!!”

“Always an easy stop for me. A little less.selection then the SJ store but good enough. Certain stock can be sporadic but that's just the way it is here in Cali right now. They didnt have any individual cream cheese packets when I went in and jo cases of zucchini.
The store is located in a not so nice part of town but they have an OPD officer parked in the parking lot all the time.
Overall, still a money and time saver
Don't try to get brisket here less than 7 days before a holiday... it will be all gone.”
