“...finally checked this place out and honestly really glad we did. the pizza was solid, reminded me of the good spots in the city. service was chill, our waitress didnt rush us at all, which i apreciated. we had a nice view of the hills from the patio, made the whole thing feel very relaxed. i definately thought it was overhyped but it ended up being a genuine good afternoon. would absolutly go back for another round of the spicy margarita.”
“If you can appreciate somewhere like Las Vegas on its own merits, you will enjoy your visit here. Seemingly a showcase for its founder's collection of kitsch pieces and facsimiles, plus some classic cars and Western artifacts. Also, there's a huge taxidermy collection in the basement. (Look out for the rhino.) Maybe the most American thing I've ever seen. The surrounding plaza feels like a mixture of golf club and strip mall. 5/5”

“This place is quite comfortable with all basic amenities for co-working - nice desks, telephone booths, meeting rooms, coffee etc. If there is one ask, I'd say, make all desks with adjustable heights.”
“Visited Bancroft Garden on June 25th and was pleasantly surprised. The weather was mild, and I had about an hour to wander through this small neighborhood garden.
The desert plant collection is the highlight — a really interesting variety of cacti and succulents, including several species and flowers I’d never seen before. Some were in bloom, which made the visit especially rewarding. The garden is compact but thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to enjoy without feeling rushed.
The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience.”
“I love this place. I’ve been there a couple of times with my girls and we had a great time. When it was time to plan my daughter’s 7th bday I decided to do it at putters. It was easy, low stress, and everyone had fun. Beyond the party area, and even the mini golf- there’s corn hole, ping pong, some basketball,
And more! Sean, the owner is a rally nice guy and just made things easy. I recommend this place if you just want a little fun on a weekend or evening to play some mini golf or for a kids party. Doesn’t get easier than putters!”

“Toyota Pavilion still makes it happen. Just saw Toto, Men at Work and Christopher Cross. The sound was great. Concessions have good food and variety of drinks. My only complaint is the attendants who stand around talking and block the walk ways.”
“We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. Even on the last day of August, the gardens were in full bloom. We received SO many compliments from our guests on how stunning the venue was. Everyone we worked with at The Gardens at Heather Farm was kind, attentive, and an excellent communicator. Jenna and Cathleen were both amazing! Throughout the planning process, they were always available to answer questions and offered many helpful recommendations for vendors, which made our planning much smoother. We dreamed of having an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by an indoor reception, and this venue was absolutely perfect for that. Our wedding day completely exceeded our expectations, and we had so much fun! I cannot recommend The Gardens at Heather Farm enough. It was truly the most magical place to host a wedding.”
“We did a tour of Redwood Canyon with Jacoby and absolutely loved her. After scheduling, she reached out to confirm the appointment and gave helpful directions. At the appointment itself, she was a wealth of knowledge and struck the right balance between sharing information and giving us time to take in the space.
While we ended up chosing another venue due to availability of dates, I absolutely would have loved working with Jacoby. She came across as passionate about celebrating love and highly capable. You're in good hands working with her!”

“The ceremony area is really close to the venue so if it’s too cold or hot outside it’s easy to go in and take pics. I liked how the sound with the venue DJ can be used and heard outside without being seen during the ceremony.”
“Such a delightful tour with a lovely gentleman and lady as our guides. I learned so much about Walnut Creek’s history and life in the 1890s–1920s. The display of old-time tools and icons was especially captivating, quiet reminders of how people once lived. A truly worthwhile stop”
“Today reminded me how much kindness matters. My 8-year-old loves art, and we signed up for a challenging 3-hour class that pushed her outside her comfort zone. She had a moment where she felt overwhelmed and anxious, and we stepped outside for a little break.
What stood out was the quiet compassion in the room. The instructor, Lainey, and the small group around us didn't stare, comment, or make it a big deal. They simply gave her the space she needed and welcomed her back quietly when she was ready.
She returned, kept trying, and finished most of her project (final touches were completed at home). I was so proud of her perseverance, and so grateful for Lainey's patience, encouragement, and genuine kindness throughout the class.
Not every victory is about finishing perfectly. Sometimes it's about taking a breath, coming back, and trying again. Thank you, Lainey, for creating a space where kids can feel safe to do that. She has already asked me when she can come back again, and I think that says everything. ❤🎨”

“Encore in Walnut Creek is THE best place to host a kid's birthday party if you want an stress-free event with an all-hands on crew to assist almost every aspect on the party day. We've hosted multiple parties here for our son as and attended quite a few parties and the kids always leave here having a blast and asleep in the car afterwards. From arrival, the crew helps with unloading and getting kids onto the gym mat. The gym time is well staffed and the kids got to rotate across a variety of fun activities. Bonus for parents - we get to observe from upstairs and get a rare moment to catch up uninterrupted while multiple staff members lead the gym activities. The staff even helped me set up our train decor and when I arrived to help downstairs, all I had to do was add candles to the cake! Coach Eric is the best and his crew really shines and makes our parties memorable and stress free each time. Thank you Encore, we'll be back!”
“My first time attending an event at this venue and what a beautiful venue! Located in Pleasant Hill, next to a police station but also a near an outside area that has a gazebo. They have a pavilion area, dance floor, mirrors, tall ceilings and huge windows. I attended a 50th birthday, parking was easy, they had a kitchen, staff was super friendly and helped with the garbage when it got full. I bet it gets busy trying to rent out this venue for events but I enjoyed it and if you’re looking for a venue in the East Bay/Concord area, this is a great spot!”

I believe art is about texture n the correct line that the inner of the art, should bring out the artwork from the middle outwards..Jus that's me anyways.I always carry some sugar n honey when I go to places that I never been b4. “We asked a waitress from another restaurant where we can get the best Gumbo in NOLA and she said Willie Mae's. My wife ordered the Gumbo and I ordered fried chicken. I never knew fried chicken could be so different, but so much better than anywhere else!! I would go back to NOLA just for Willie Mae's fried chicken! BTW, their Gumbo was pretty awesome, too!”

“When we initially toured this venue, it checked of all of our boxes for what we were looking for in a venue. We really appreciated the layout and how it wasn’t the typical ballroom ceremony/ reception environment. It was more of a whimsical outdoor garden vibe, which we loved! There were different areas in the venue where guests can hang out and explore and it wasn’t strictly just the dance floor.
The only challenges we had with Wildwood were some of the communication with Lien (owner). Some things were unclear at times and it was very difficult to get outside vendors approved. Her preferred DJ abruptly quit on us a month before our wedding and she was really pushing on having us book her other preferred DJ, who we were not very interested after talking to him. We understand the precaution of wanting professional vendors on site, but the process of even getting professional outside vendors wasn’t very smooth.
However, Dan and Lien (owners) did rise to the occasion when our wedding coordinator failed to show up at our rehearsal. Dan confidently and clearly led the rehearsal and he was so kind and patient to us and our wedding party, especially when we were feeling pretty stressed with the wedding coordinator not showing up. The wedding coordinator was supposed to collect our items (favors, programs, etc) to set up for the next day, and Dan and Lien were very kind and let us store them in the clubhouse that night, which is typically is not allowed, so we appreciated them accommodating us with that!
Their staff on the day of was also amazing! They all looked pretty young, but they were so professional and kind. Our guests also loved the dog!”
“I am a professional wedding photographer. I shoot at a LOT of venues. Oakhurst is right at the top of my very favorite venues to work at. The entire staff is incredibly friendly! The DJ, Jeno, is outstanding and very professional. The grounds themselves are beautiful and wonderful for getting MANY different backdrops that are unique for weddings portraits. I have shot about 20 weddings here and always look forward to my next one. On top of that, many years ago I too got married here. Wonderful venue!”
“The best service at a restaurant I’ve received in a very long time. We had a table for 13 to celebrate my mom’s birthday. They kept our cake. Sliced/served the cake. Great drinks. Food was great. The only thing out of everything I didn’t care for was the corn 🤣”

“The perfect venue for my husband's Celebration of Life. Beautiful venue. , Bright, immaculate and spacious and a awonderful kitchen for my caterer to set up. Plenty of parking and easy access for disabled guests. Management was very nice to work with too. I would highly recommend this venue for your gathering.”
