“Tawny and the events team at The Ruth Bancroft Garden made our wedding planning and special day a total joy! On top of just being incredible humans, they were supportive, highly responsive, and detail-oriented throughout the process. RBG was the first and only wedding venue we looked at -- it's just that good. Our buyout gave us the flexibility to use the entire garden and events space to create our 'Palm Springs Meets Northern California' wedding vibes. From our fall sunset ceremony in the garden to our EDM-inspired reception and dance party in their new and modern event hall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue. Highly recommend RBG if you're looking to host a a once-in-a-lifetime event. Thanks, Tawny and team!”

“Outdoor mini golf course with 23 holes. It had a good variety of holes with different features and configurations. A couple unique designs I haven't seen anywhere else and it's fairly spread out so it was never busy and we didn't ever have to wait for another group to go before proceeding. It took about 30 mins for my kids to clear it, but the management didn't care that we went again and tried some of the games/challenges that were set up. Very reasonable price also.”

“We hosted our wedding at the gardens this year in October. It was a wonderful ceremony, and a wonderful space. Unfortunately, due to situations out of their control, we couldn't host the reception, but it was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The venue does have required caterers, but the caterers are accessible for most price ranges. The people we spoke to were also very kind working with us and they kept in contact with us throughout the process. We highly recommend this as a beautiful space to celebrate the important events in your life.”

“This little ranch is a truly time saving place for the family photo on your busy schedule. It is not a big farm with all play amenities but it has all small scale of pumpkin patch activities such as hayes maze, tiny farm animals, steam train. The entry fees is very affordable however you will buy ticketa to enjoy various section of patch for activities. The mobile restroom and limited free parking spots are available.”

“I enjoyed every single minute of the gallery artist work.Altho it's in a close space, they did a gr8 job overall. I believe art is about texture n the correct line that the inner of the art, should bring out the artwork from the middle outwards..Jus that's me anyways.I always carry some sugar n honey when I go to places that I never been b4. N in return, I get treated with highly gr8 respect n understanding of the nature.Respect goes a long way.”

“I've been going to Diablo Ranch for over 40 years, worked with Kimmie for 15+ years! I've dealt with this person Rob before! This is a person who got rejected after coming down without speaking with Kim first! Packed up his dogs in his truck and drove to Walnut Creek, Ca! This new review about the drug riddled semi homelessness characters and stealing is such a horrible lie! Rob she told you No, back off leave her alone!! You're a creepy person Rob and stop lying about visiting the Ranch recently, you haven't been there since you were told to leave! Now back off and go screw with someone else's life!”

“Attended a coin show at the Elks Lodge, and the building was well maintained and functional. I enjoyed seeing posters and information about upcoming events, for members. It's made me want to become a lodge member so hopefully I will get a chance to visit the lodge again.”

“We recently had my son's 5th birthday party here and had a wonderful experience. The staff take care of everything, which I wasn't expecting! And that included laying out table covers, having paper plates and napkins, checking guests in, receiving and bagging up gifts, distributing food, cleaning up. They were great with the kids and were so efficient in getting them from one place to the next! I received so many praises from the kids and from parents, many of whom said they didn't realize how amazing the relocated gym was. I highly recommend having a kids party here!”

“This is my boyfriend and I favorite theater to go to. We love this Cinemark because we are usually the only people inside. It is not crowded and the staff is amazing. Another great thing about this place is that you have the Cheesecake Factory nearby if you’d like some dessert or dinner after the movies. This movie location is perfect because of all the other food options nearby. Definitely check this place out if you like to go to the movies and have a great experience.”

“Great course well maintained and not too difficult. I always have a good time with my friends or business associates when we come here. I always get a cart and the carts are reliable every time I've come. The courses need a little love but they played well for us and we had a great time. We will be back”

“Great spot to hit a bucket of balls. Added bonus of hearing gunshots from nearby Walnut Creek police shooting range. Well maintained golf mats, tees and automatic golf ball dispensers. Also, can't beat the view from this hillside location.”

“Boy, where do I start... FIRST: The service. Every single staff member - from valet to concierge to servers were PERFECT. We had a bit of a mishap at the valet area and all three posted there dropped everything to help us. That truly helped with how quickly that was resolved. (We made sure to tip well!) The concierge made it easy to check in and made sure to remind us that we had free drinks at the bar, "but get there ASAP since there's only about an hour left." (Yes. We took advantage of THAT!) Our server at the restaurant was friendly and efficient even with a bit of the crowd. He was pretty strategic when making his rounds to make sure he got everyone and everyone had what they need. SECOND: The room. It looked and smelled clean. Ditto the bathroom. Other than a small crack on the sink, it was perfect. THIRD: Their complimentary continental breakfast. Great selections of fruit, bread, cereal, drinks, food. The cherry on top was the omelette station. Whaaaaattt?!?LAST: The hotel overall. I love the open area all throughout. They don't have those hallway type walkways: it really is just open. It's almost a claustrophobic's dream. And not a single piece of clutter anywhere. It almost made me wanna stay one more night! Excellent EXCELLENT run. Highly recommending this for those needing accommodations around this area.”

“I came here to test out a new Golf Scorecard app on my iphone called Fun Golf Scorecard. The app worked great on this course. I don't understand why this place has less than 4 stars. It's a great 9 hole in the Contra Costa area. The clubhouse has great food. Super nice waitresses. I come on weekdays and it's a perfect 9 hole.”

“We stayed for the second time In a year. Our room, 226 was fine up until the last day/night when the bathroom sink had slowed up to drain out ( we did not rinse dishes with food on them..gross. only for brushing teeth) . We also had a wi-fi issue with the connection after we signed in, that was ANNOYING and my husband was irritated. We did not have a problem on our last stay, hence the 3 star rating.Walkability: There are walking trails nearby. One trail, IronHorse trail will take you to downtown if you are willing to walk a little over 2 miles to reach some outdoor shops, restaurants.”
