“Brought my car in for the first time yesterday after BMW quoted me close to $1600 for an oil change, air filter change, vehicle diagnostic, and brake fluid change. They were able to take me in the next morning and quoted me $600 less than BMW did. Service only took like three hours compared to a full day that BMW would’ve taken. Appreciate their honesty, great prices and professionalism. I’ll be back!”
“Good shop, kind owner, thorough mechanics. Went in for a tune-up and asked them to check for additional issues - they were fair in their assessment and found issues without upselling. Price is on the higher end for an independent shop, but the work is high quality and they are certified in BMW service. Would go again and recommend to others.”

“Mr. Orlando and his crew are awesome. Came to get a wheel alignment he noticed that My tire light was on. I told him that it was the sensor other shops wanted to charge me like $170 for each tire but he said let me check something. He check my spare tire which had five sensors and he said that’s what’s making it low because I needed air and he fixed it. The light went off. I am so appreciated and I believe in God‘s favor. He didn’t try to rip me off took care of the problem without charging me.”

I paid $133 for a full synthetic oil change with a $20 coupon which I think is on the pricier side. They told me all that I needed to get serviced and checked my tires and all that. I appreciate it”
“My car died and I called around to some auto shops to see who might be able to fit me in quickly. One shop said they unfortunately couldn't schedule me until the following week, but that I should call The Garage and that they'd treat me well. They were right! Took my Hyundai Tucson in for diagnostics and as others mentioned, Ray and his team were super thorough with pictures and a list of what was wrong that could wait or needed urgent attention. The team didn't take any further action until I gave them the ok and were transparent the whole time. I'll absolutely be returning the next time I need a car repairs!”

“Orinda Motors is the best garage I have ever been to. The service coordinators (Tara, Jamie) are very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They are courteous and will give you all the time required to describe your vehicles issues. Then will make sensible recommendations to fix the issues. They take pride in their service and treat customers with respect. Once the service provided does not require a follow up visit as they take time to make sure everything is working properly. The pricing for services is reasonable and there are no unnecessary recommended. I would very highly recommend Orinda Motors for your next vehicle service.”

Don's Tire comes out at the top - they can get pretty much any tire you'd like, and quickly, unlike so many shops, they underpromise and overdeliver. “The staff here are all very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They do not try to up-sell or recommend unnecessary services which is very appreciated. They saved me time and money looking at my brakes and letting me know there are still several thousand miles left on their lifespan after having a dealership tell me I needed them replaced immediately and quoted me $300+ more for the brake replacement than Burrough & Sons. I will be back to have all my car repairs done here from now on.”

“Willie helped me out. My battery died while I was getting my transmission fluid changed, I have a parasitic phone charger that drains it and I left it in there by accident. He restarted my car with a portable battery charger and drain the fluid and replaced it. It was black definitely Time. They had me down as having visited the place before, which is strange cause I don’t remember going there. But he showed me the paperwork and it was somebody else’s name and address with my car. No it wasn’t before I owned it it was only two years ago. That is still a mystery. He did however top off my oil and my coolant, above and beyond. Super nice guy I will go back”

“I needed routine car maintenance and a smog check, so I called Auto Stop and they told me I could drop by. I arrived at 9:30 am, and while they initially estimated a two-hour wait, they had everything done by 10:30 am. Much faster than expected!
The total came to about $260 for my car. This covered a vehicle inspection, smog check, and oil change. Service was efficient and professional.
