“I found this place on TikTok and my kids wanted to come. It's a convenient store do you'll have to find street parking. The store was a lot bigger than I expected. They had the viral fruit ice cream going around. They gad the money unique snacks I have seen and very well stocked. They even had clothes and pet food. It's was a little pricey but very fun to try new snacks.”

“Good neighbor hood store. Candy selection is ok. Drink selection is good. Ice cream ? selection is not so good. They have a ATM for 2.99. Cigs, papers, wraps n cigars hats n some t shirts Oh they have a nice incense selection too. Personel are friendly as well. No lottery tho.”
“This is my local shop and the guys that run the place are always SUPER chill and helpful. They’re sometimes even willing to be flexible on the price for some of their glass pieces too.
Overall a very nice selection of glass and smoking accessories. They also have a decent spread of drinks too, if you’re thirsty.
There are a ton of smoke shops in the area, but Hollywood is easily my favorite, especially due to the good customer service they provide.”
“Moe runs a great shop, his prices are not always the cheapest but often they are, he has great customer service, remembers his customers and almost always gives you a free lighter.
It might not matter to some people, but I greatly appreciate the honor and respect Moe gives his customers I am of an age where that trumps many things and is how companies used to create loyalty.”
“We didn’t think we would find a place to smoke a cigar and enjoy some drinks in San Francisco while we were here for a conference , but Occidental was our home away from home. The owner and bartenders are great and very welcoming. Excellent selection of bourbons, whiskeys and wine, plus a few beers on tap.”

“Great shop. I go in every few days and buy Yerba Mate, but today, they stopped carrying the sweet ones; I purchased an unsweetened one, but it really seems like it's not worth it for the price. Do people really drink the unsweetened ones? I asked them to start carrying sweetening bottled Yerba Mate again, but they didn’t respond. I thought they might want to carry it just for me because I go in there so often, but I guess I’m not that important to them.”

I was surprised to find NFL team hats, beanies, and other souvenirs, along with a variety of rings, necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry. Whether you’re looking for a new hat, a small gift, or just want to check out the selection, there’s something for everyone, and the prices are great.

“Not quite sure where the previous owner shipped off to. I gotta say, however, for as much as I was starting to really value what the old man had there, the new staff (presumably under new ownership) and the new look of the place doesn't leave me with much to complain about. The lady during the day is always very efficient. When I walk in and before I hit the counter, she already has my item(s) in hand and waiting with everything cued up. I've seen various staff there on different nights but they all seem pretty nice and normal. This place has very comparable prices to all the other smoke shops on Telegraph. But if you're like me in this case, you'll go to the people that treat you attentively, effectively and without attitude. This place does all of those things. Worth another 1000 visits for me. Simple, clean and cordial. Very nice.”

“I have never been to this smoke shop but I know exactly where its at as a past El Cerrito resident. I wanted to give this store a good rating due to recent shocking news. They are now temporarily closed and maybe permanently closed due to a robbery. Two a-holes rammed their truck into the store to mainly steal cigarettes. What is this world coming to? To the owners, I'm sorry this happened to your business. I truly hope you will be able to reopen.”
“Been a customer for over a decade. The staff wants your business, perhaps it comes across as being pushy but you gotta understand the level of competition hi times faces being one of a half dozen smoke shops in the immediate area. While his selection isn't the most premium, there are great deals to be had and the more you frequent the shop, the friendlier the deals get. Make educated decisions regarding your purchases and you will score the greatest deals in Berkeley. If you go during the day the owner is working and he is a good dude, definitely not the typical Downtown/telegraph mark up. Don't be offended if the sales pitch is a bit aggressive. I think his employees are bonused on sales volume.”

“Really good papers haven't received any stale papers. Go to shop if I ever need a vape, papers, bong, pipe, baggies, and whatever other smoke essentials. They have Yocan batteries amazing batteries long lasting if you smoke carts. Really good customer service. Cheapest vape they got is 10 and still a solid vape.”
“Made a quick stop by there after exiting 24th and Mission St bart station. Picked up a couple of butane refills. These are $1.50 a piece and if you purchased w/debit or credit card they will charge you a $1 processing fee. Store is small, its very clean, variety of items to purchase, andI received great customer service. Definitely will shop there again”
“Of all the surrounding shops in San Pablo this is the one I go to. Tucked in the San Pablo Town Center, the owner has much needed items for the smokers but isn’t limited to just “smoke” items. The store conveniently carries beverages, single pack white or black tees in a variety of sizes, hookahs, snacks, caps, incense, and cool knick knacks.
The owner now knows me by now being a frequent patron and greets me kindly every time.”

“*** Warning Buyers beware*** this shop is 20% more expensive than all the other shops. On cigarettes 30% more expensive. They are not a discounter. Also they record in their store and release items on social media without your prior written consent. I went in and the guy tried to cheat me in a pack of smokes. When I walked out his shop he said some thing to the effect of he would cause me harm, I told him exactly how I felt and what would happen if he tried, then he called our corporation from a private number as it was on my t-shirt. (I work for a company that has very high security. I told the attorney of our company what had happened and he called to try and get the surveillance store footage. The person at that store stopped answering the phone and has repeatedly hung up on our attorney. Also we encourage everyone to not use this store. Literally the gas station next door has better items and all the same items for LESS.”
