“It was late Saturday afternoon and I had a last minute ride scheduled for Sunday. My road bike had been sitting on the trainer for the past few years and needed a checkup / tune up before I hit the road again. I called around to find a shop that could fit me in on short notice and was fortunate to find this one. Met Joe at the shop who was able to squeeze my bike in ahead in order to make sure it was done by end of day. Went to pick it up after a few hours and it was ready right as they were about to close. They are open fairly late compared to other shops. Service was attentive and top notch, he even did some additional repair and adjustments without additional charge. Price for the tune up was very reasonable and competitive. Will return again!”

“I can’t say enough good things about David and the Pasadena Shop. I was vacillating between several bikes: a Gazelle T10, a Specialized Vado, a Diamond Back Response, and a Bulls Iconic. I test drove the first few. But I could not find a Bulls bike to test drive anywhere but San Diego and San Francisco… until I called Open Trails. I caught David at his shop doing paperwork on a Sunday and he opened up for me to come over. David had a Bulls Copperhead bike with a soft tail, very comparable to the BULLS ICONIC EVO TR 2 SPEED that was on my short list. He gave me a lot of valuable info about Bulls bikes and I loved the feel of the one I rode. He offered me a great price for the model I wanted and the size that would be perfect for me. I agreed on the spot. He recommended better pedals than the ones that come with the bike, so I found a good pair online for $20. He ordered the bike and had it all put together in his shop in a few days. It was perfectly assembled when I arrived and looked awesome! Black and Silver, with all the bells and whistles of a German E-Bike: aluminum frame, Bosch Gen 4 motor, 625 wh battery, super comfortable saddle, dropper post, and a detailed and easy-to-read Kiox display, to name just a few. He made several micro-adjustments over the next hour as I took multiple rides up and down his street. He helped me get it up on my rack and strapped down. I've got an old rack and he told me he would have much better racks on sale for $250 in a couple weeks. I’ll be calling him soon. David is a really nice, well-informed, trustworthy guy. He's also an E-bike lover. He was every bit as excited about my new ride as I was! Thanks, David. Thanks Open Trails. FIVE STARS!”

“I have been to many bike shops across Los Angeles and nobody beats Jesus Bike Shop! I recommend coming here because this is definitely the place to fix and buy your bike. The prices are unbeatable and this shop has been here for over 20 years. Jesus knows wassup and always helps me with my bikes weather it is advice or parts wise. I buy all my parts here and love to buy and see the new bikes he has in stock. There isn't much space in the store so make sure you come before all the lil kids crowd it up.”

“Mario seems to have a real passion for the work that he does. I brought my disassembled vintage Schwinn in for Empire Bikes to put together. Mario assembled it quickly and also found a good solution for the original braking mechanism not working, connected the light and helped us pack the bike in our small car. The bike looks gorgeous all put together, and rides like a dream. I highly recommend this shop for their friendly service, reasonable pricing, and love for what they do.”
“Martin bike shop is the only place you should be going too. I’ve been riding for 7 years and everything started when I stumbled across his shop looking to get my old fixie fixed. After the first time I never changed and have been loyal to his shop for years, and have personally gotten to know the man myself. He’s a great funny charismatic guy that has a great story to how he got his shop to be. 10/10 recommend”

I came here to rent a commuter bike for a friend and had a great experience. I was in and out with their in-house RamBam commuter bike in less than 20 minutes. The bike rode fine, no flats, and the equipment wasn’t tired and old. The customer experience at the shop was similarly pleasant and smooth. I haven’t had a bad interaction yet as other reviewers have mentioned.
I plan to get some work done on my bike at this shop soon, so my review will be updated if my experience changes.”
“My crankarm came off in the middle of a ride. I called G's and he said bring it right in. Turns out the crank bolt stripped. He got me a new bolt and I was up and riding again within the hour. Great, quick service.”
