“Aliso Viejo Town Center is one of those places that quietly became a staple of daily life in South Orange County without making a big deal about it — and that’s exactly what makes it work.
I’ve been coming here for years, and what keeps me coming back isn’t any single thing. It’s the whole package. The layout is walkable and open, which you don’t always get at shopping centers that feel more like parking lot mazes. Whether I’m grabbing a quick lunch, running errands, or meeting someone for coffee, the center just flows.
The dining options here are genuinely solid. You’ve got variety without the chaos — from casual bites to sit-down spots where you can actually have a conversation without being rushed out the door. Service at most of the restaurants is consistently attentive, and the food quality holds up whether it’s a weekday grab-and-go or a relaxed weekend lunch.
Retail-wise, the mix of stores covers real-world needs — fitness, grocery, personal care, and specialty shops that you’d actually use. This isn’t a ghost town of vacant storefronts. The tenants are active, the businesses engage with the community, and it shows.
One of the underrated highlights is how family-friendly the space is. There’s open space to breathe, outdoor seating throughout, and a general atmosphere that doesn’t feel rushed or high-pressure. Parents with kids, couples, solo shoppers — everyone fits here.
Parking is abundant and free, which in Orange County is never something to take for granted.
The Town Center also hosts local events that give it a community anchor feel. That matters. It’s not just a strip of stores — it’s a gathering place, and you can feel the difference when a shopping center is built with that intention versus just square footage.
If you’re in Aliso Viejo or passing through from Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, or Laguna Niguel, this is worth your time. Consistently clean, reliably convenient, and genuinely one of the better-run open-air centers in the area.”
“This was my first custom suit experience and it was nothing short of eye-opening! Aaron was very knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to talk to, he is the main man to go to for fun candor and technical expertise to make a person look their best! The double breasted suit that we designed was my first one but it will not certainly be my last at Trutailor. It fit perfectly around my body and it gave me the ability to know what I would like in the future for the rest of my wardrobe. With all this to boot at an attainable price for a quality suit and overall experience!

“Stylish shopping mall in Irvine just beside the interstate. Lots of restaurants and shops. Has a lively and vibrant atmosphere. Parking can get difficult on weekends but is Free.”
“Eurolook salon does the most amazing nails and facials. I recently had a custom hydrafacial with Elena! It was amazing, she really took time to cleanse and nourish my skin. My face looked absolutely glowing. I love this spa. I have them do my nails too. Ulia, is my girl. She makes my hands look years younger. They don’t soak your hands in water, instead they use a kind of skin-sanding device that takes away your dead skin and cuticle. Very professional and clean. Anytime they add a service, I want to try it! Keep up the fantastic work!”

“The Estrada’s of San Clemente Woodworking did a wonderful job on our renovated house’s staircase. They were pleasant, honest, nice people. They made every effort to help make a design for our stairs that was exactly what we wanted.
We chose to have metal spindles with an alternating pattern of plain spindle with a spindle with little knobs. They took some time to help us lay out in a pattern that we liked using real spindles..
The installation was done with a craftsman’s attention to detail. They laid out our pattern carefully on the steps which was a real math/design problem as there are safety spacing requirements, numbers of spindles per step, turns and landings. They actually custom made the wooden newel posts and handrail.
They also installed skirting along each side of the stairs which gave a finished look as they specially created a skirting board to match our house baseboard,
All in all we are delighted with the staircase and would recommend their work very highly.”
“We recently hosted a JETSET on The Mat event with JETSET Pilates Irvine at Woodbridge Village Center, and it truly could not have been a more picturesque setting.
The lake views created the most beautiful backdrop for our outdoor Pilates event. It felt peaceful, elevated, and so quintessentially Irvine. The center itself is incredibly charming, with plenty of seating and open space that made it easy for our community to gather and enjoy the moment.
After class, our attendees had so many great options for drinks and small bites, which made the entire experience feel like a mini staycation morning. Everything is walkable, scenic, and welcoming.
Woodbridge Village Center is such a gem for community events, dining, and simply enjoying a beautiful day by the lake. We’re so grateful we were able to bring JETSET there.”
“One of my favorite shopping centers. There are so many different shops located here I can get almost everything I need right here in one location. Very clean and well maintained center.”
“Sad to see Rite-Aid is gone but the marketplace is still great. With coffee and ice cream and even in n out and Jersey mikes if you’re looking for food at any time of the day you can always stop by here. The gas station is super nice as well.”

“This is a cute shopping center in Newport Coast and I love Gelsons so I'll give it a 4 star review for the overall vibe. It's diagonal to Rogers Gardens so if you need to go shopping at Gelson's beforehand, you should definitely check it out! If you have a dog or cat, they have a super swanky pet store! There's a nice clothing store too!”
“Kids playing in front area while parents chill talking and drinking. Well lit areas. Clean planters and sidewalks. Furniture is clean and sturdy. Lots of food choices. Place is still surviving although not nearly as popular as 30 years ago.”
“Attended a dear friend's Celebration of Life, in the Plaza Building at Saddleback church. Its a two story building with a Sanctuary on first floor and Reception Area on the second floor. It was a lovely service and also reception was set up great and the lunch was enjoyable.”

“Great place to walk around, there are plenty of stores for food shopping and activities. Eos fitness is open 24 hours and they even have a bowling alley. There is plenty of parking as well and tons of stuff to do. If you’re looking for food or something to do this is a good option.”

“This place is great. They have a Starbucks, Donut Star which has great bagels and breakfast McDonald's that was just renovated and Improved, a California Pizza Kitchen, Ralph's, Chevron gas station, Mail Store, and my favorite, a 24 hour CVS. It's usually pretty busy too”
“University Center is like stepping into a hidden gem—clean, organized, and with an atmosphere that just makes you want to stay. The food selection? Top-notch. Whether you're craving something light or a full meal, they've got you covered. But let's talk about the real star of the show: Pits Coffee. I don't know what kind of magic they're brewing, but it's dangerously delicious. Honestly, I’d come here just for that cup of Pits—it's the kind of coffee that makes you question every other cup you've ever had!

“This hidden gem is actually very centrally located and has some very impressive art and lighting stores. There are also furniture and textile boutiques along with various other shops and even a yoga studio. You can also enjoy brunch at the cute little restaurant or sit and read near the fountain. There’s always parking in the back if the front is full but in the six years I have been coming to the design center I have never had parking be a problem. I highly recommend it to any local designers or residents!”

“3.1.26 didnt know there is an American cancer Society store. These stores are staffed by volunteers. This store had lots of brand named clothing, and nice jewelry at regular thrift store prices. Great place. Staff was really friendly.”
