“Dr Gunderson is the best at what she does! We honestly have been up since 4 am trying to get care for our lil guy due to a blockage and facilities were trying charging us $2k and above after we'd already spent over $600 trying to get him help. My sister recommend this months again and I finally decided to call and see what could be done as we were running short on time. She and her teams were so patient and caring and ended up getting us the best price in town and I think the entire world. While we do have some things to take care of at home after everything was said and done we are more than happy and so relieved to have been able to see our lil guy in way better shape. Though we don't live very close we are more than willing to make the drive just for the amount of care and concern her and the staff showed us and our situation”

The staff here did not make me wait in a waiting room rather had a blanket laid out already and escorted me right in without any explanation or identification. The nurses and doctors were so respectful to my family and others in the office. I wish that I was treated like this when going to a human doctor. They showed genuine love for animals and what they do. Handled efficiently and affordable. “I was recommended this vet by a good friend of mine for my two cats. Initially I had inquired on a Friday and they had offered me the following Monday, but due to my schedule I opted to wait a month for their next Saturday appt. This was for my cat who was wheezing/coughing, which they let me know to monitor for any changes and to see the emergency vet if it got worse. I ended up taking both of my cats in for a regular exam ($53) and received their yearly vaccinations (~$100). I appreciate them allowing me in the exam room with my pets and they were up front with all costs and didn't try to upsell me on any services. There was no wait time for my appointment and all services were complete for two cats within 30 minutes.”

“Over the years, my family has tried out every single vet clinic in Laguna, and we’ve never really felt like any of them were a fit… until now! My boyfriend and I were both getting ready to leave for weekend trips when we noticed something was wrong with our 19 y/o cat. We suspected a urinary blockage, and needed someone to check him out immediately. It was early Friday morning before LBAH had even opened when I left a voicemail letting them know we had an emergency and would be bringing our cat to their office as soon as they opened at the slightest chance that they might be able to see him before the weekend. They had no obligation to take him as he wasn’t really even a patient of theirs (they had only ever seen him for a claw trim before). They took him in without question. The staff took great care of our cat making sure he was comfortable and felt safe (shoutout to Jordyn, you’re the best!!!) and the doctor kept in contact with us throughout the day, personally giving us routine updates as they ran more tests. The front desk was also extremely accommodating and patient with us as we had to scramble to find a friend to pick him up from their office later that day. I am so grateful for the level of kindness, communication, and care that we received from LBAH staff and am thrilled to say we have finally found the vet for us!”

“This is, by far, the best animal hospital I’ve found in my 30+ years of being a dog owner. A veterinarian whom I met where I work recommended Dr. Robinson to me when we moved to the area.The front office staff is professional and welcoming (I love everyone and since my first call, Amanda has been so great!). The vet technicians are kind and listen with an empathetic ear.I have had the opportunity to have both Dr. Robinson and Dr. Yamasaki take care of my mixed breed dog. They were gentle and kind, and really took their time listening to my questions and addressing each one. I never feel rushed. My sweet dog Sadie is always happy to be greeted by them - they make her feel calm and loved, which makes a trip to the vet a positive experience rather than something scary! Both of these women are extremely knowledgeable and have put me at ease in a number of situations that were worrisome. They have been conservative in their approaches to a number of situations. I never feel like they are recommending tests or treatments that they feel can be monitored judiciously.I’ve been to vets who seemed to be pushing as many tests and medications as they could, and I feel much the opposite here.Their fees seem to be in line with other animal hospitals in the area. I love that they offer “vet tech” hours where I can just walk in for times when my dog needs a recheck, her nails trimmed and many other services that don’t require an appointment with one of the doctors.This is a 5 star PLUS experience. I live close by but would never hesitate to drive a great distance to come here!”

“I felt really compelled to leave a review for this particular Banfield location inside Petsmart in Aliso Viejo. I have always had a very good experience with the staff and never felt like they were trying to sell me everything under the sun, so great job to all the guys and gals who work at the front. The real review I wanted to leave was for Dr. Shahrooz Khamenehli who everyone refers to as Dr. KEvery time I have had to bring my dog in he spent a very generous amount of time talking with me about my dogs health. There is no sales pitch or pressure to do a bunch of diagnostics like I have seen at so many other Vets. Dr. K is the best! Very knowledgeable, explains things well and never tries to talk me into doing unnecessary procedures. He comes across very honest, sincere and has excellent bedside manner. I really trust him and I highly recommend him. Five stars for Dr. K”
