Beautiful landscape & outdoor areas, great views, really tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, not to mention the units are well kept inside and out. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet the requirements to be part of this awesome community but overall, just the touring alone left me with a great experience.

“The courtesy patrol guy needs a raise! He's the only one who seems to truly care about the apartment tenants and complex. He's super friendly and does his job to the T. He is the saving grace to this complex and needs a promotion or something.”

“I've been a resident of the complex for 2 years and I've had an excellent experience thus far. The front office and maintenance is always kind and prompt with any problems I have. Especially with my recent problem with my refrigerator, I thought I was going to need to wait for a part but Carlos was able to figure out the problem and able to fix it on the spot even after his coworker thought I needed replacement parts the day before. Thank you so much again Carlos for being so knowledgeable, professional and kind.”

“I've lived here for about a month and my family and I love it. Anthony was so helpful and always followed up while we were In the process of signing our lease. He made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. We've had to call maintenace a couple of times for minor things and they are super quick to come and get things fixed.”

“I moved in the end of January. I didn't notice it before I moved in but noticed after that my frig was too small. I kept being told they don't have any frig that was bigger. Eventually Brittney sent Devin out to look at it. Devin determined that the wrong size frig had been placed in the apt and they didn't know it. Thank you Brittney for listening to me and Devin for getting the right size frig.

My A/C kept going out. Rene' tried and I appreciate to make it better but it ended up needing to be replaced. Due to medical issues with my son, I appreciate Devin getting a rush on it. Now we have cold air ?

This senior active apartment residence is outstanding in providing excellent service,safety, maintenance, communication, pride of service and property care interior and exterior. “Have lived here for a year and a half and love this place. All the staff are super friendly. The facilities like the pool and gym are great! The ability to BBQ is also a great thing to have especially since there is some poolside. The maintenance crew are very courteous and fast at helping with whatever problems you may have. “the maintenance here is always so fast! I always hear stories of other complex complaining about not having thing completed on time but not here. carlos once again completed my maintenance order. he honestly is my favorite! he always completes my work orders on time and if he can’t do it that day he’ll keep me updated always on parts. he doesn’t just forget. he’s always super friendly . my son is autistic and whenever he comes over he’s always so nice and understanding. my son is an eloper so he always makes sure to lock the chain I have behind him and always lets me know when he’s going back out so I can watch the door. he makes me and my kids feel safe. whenever he comes and does a work order he makes sure to clean up after himself after any work orders. he is the reason I transferred unit to updated one, and don’t regret it! he honestly is so awesome!”

The Property is well maintained. The Community feels safe and the management team is truly EXCEPTIONAL.
The Maintenance Team and the Leasing Consultants are always friendly and quick to address any concerns .

The Property Manager, Manny Casas has made a huge impression on me . His management style is approachable. He Listens well, communicates well, he solves issues and is respectful.

“Cozy and homey apartment community

I can’t express enough how much I loved this community. I lived there for about four years and truly miss the atmosphere. The manager, Sonia, the administrative staff, and the maintenance team were all amazing. The neighbors were also super friendly and easy to talk to.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an apartment in this area.

Below is my honest opinion:

Pros:
Located between Claremont and La Verne, with easy access to both downtown areas. There are many lovely shops and great restaurants nearby.

Cons:
Summers can get very hot due to the valley location. However, I had air conditioning, and most of the time it was not a problem. The highest temperature I experienced there was 113°F, which was the hottest temperature I’ve ever experienced in my life.

I truly miss this community and the very supportive El Sereno staff. I greatly appreciate everything you all did for me!”

“Jessica has been an amazing manager and truly one of the best we have had. She has always been professional, understanding, responsive, and genuinely caring toward me and my family. No matter the situation, she always took the time to communicate, listen, and help whenever she could.

Good management can make a huge difference in a community, and Jessica always made residents feel heard and respected. Her kindness, patience, and dedication never went unnoticed, and it is clear she truly cared about the property and the people living here.

“My husband and I have lived here for the past 5 years! The atmosphere of the community has definitely changed with the times and with new tenants moving in, however we have little to no complaints. The community is beautiful and full of nature, it’s local to many things in the city, there is open parking, and it is usually pretty quiet. They also have community events where they offer tenants free food, such as a taco cart, the In-N-Out truck, and a Thanksgiving dinner. They also give out free pumpkins for Halloween and host a summer camp for kids! The office staff have always been very nice to my husband and I and are quick to attend to concerns. One time we had to call maintenance for a toilet leak after hours and he showed up as quick as he could and patiently addressed the problem. Additionally, these apartments welcome big dogs of any breed, which is rare to find in the area.

My only complaints would be the wall unit AC and the amount of times the garbage truck and gardening services are called. Since the AC is attached to the wall in the living room, the cold air doesn’t reach the bedroom which can be miserable in the summer. Additionally, if the garbage cans are full, they will call to get them dumped early to avoid overflow, which I do appreciate. However, with new people constantly moving in and out and the trash and materials put in the bins by maintenance remodeling apartments, the garbage truck is called often, which tenants pay additional for every month. I work from home and it could be me, but also sometimes I feel like the gardeners are either cutting grass, blowing leaves, and trimming bushes multiple days of the week for half the day. With that being said I’ll admit the community grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. Laundry is also pretty expensive for the small washer machines, however, you can always do laundry off site. If you mind your business, respect your neighbors, and follow all community rules, you’ll have no issues here!”

The maintenance team is incredibly responsive, which gives me peace of mind knowing that any issue, big or small, will be handled promptly. My move-in process was smooth, and everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoy living here and highly recommend this community.”
