“My husband and I come here every time we’re in town for the food!!! Mela is a grocery store with quality authentic indian food made by the family who owns the store. We are from the Coachella valley and we make the travel to taste their food here. The samosas rice and chicken are amazing! It’s soo bomb! Crisp and flavorful! The flavors taste the same every time! “This market has all the typical groceries that you can't find in any a normal grocery store. The quality of meat is good. I have to say that the marinated chicken was really good. I'll definitely be coming back to this market to try out the food they make there.”
“2/4/24 This meat market is like the Gelson's of meat markets, everything in its place. It's enticing to shop at a well organized & clean shop. As soon as I walked into the establishment, I was greeted by the staff behind the counter. This is not what expected--where most places ignore you & employees looking like they don't want to be there. It's a nice surprise. Their meat selection is pretty sizable & I am impressed at how neatly stacked & arranged everything is. The prices are reasonable & well worth it for the way things are. I went in to check out if they have guac & salsa (I mean what kind of a carniceria that would not have guac & salsa, right? LoL). They did (see photo), the guac at 8 oz. for $4.99. The salsas (roja & verde) @ $3.49 each. I was hoping they'd have a bigger container for family size and looking back I should've asked. I opted to go elsewhere to buy & now regret not buying one just to taste if it's any good. Based off of just the initial impressions I am giving them a 4 star. I'm hoping that the next time I return & buy/taste their products, it would be a 5 star experience.”

“Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews from snobby people with their head up their butt! This place is AMAZING! The Butchers, Workers & customer service is professional and very helpful & kind. I always come here during lunch for their well known Tri Tip Sammich ? it never disappoints! I’ve taken 2 of my friends to try it & my father and they all loved the Tri Tip. The Prices of their cuts are very good and affordable for the amazing quality you get! 4 fresh natural rib eye steaks for $40 and some change, you can not beat that. Once again I don’t understand these angry reviews from angry people. Take it from a local I highly recommend this Butcher Shop & it makes me never want to have any other meat shop from some average grocery store. As for the angry reviewers complaining about the how expensive it is (it’s not expensive) go to food 4 less. I LOVE Hottinger Family Meats. Feels like home. ❤️”

“The bakery ladies, Vivian and Debbie, were such a BIG help ! I had ordered with a different lady in bakery and she had no personality whatsoever.. especially when we were trying to explain what we were going for and she basically dismissed what we were trying to show her. We go to pick up our cupcakes and they are the wrong color.. we were then taken care of by Vivian and she has customer service and did her best at explaining on paper what color we needed.. we go the next day to pick up our cupcakes and they are the perfect shade of toy story alien green ! A HUGE thanks to Debbie for preparing them beautifully and to Vivian for describing the cupcakes perfectly.”

“Hi went there on my own to get the item the other store I didn't see any Easter Sunday afternoon. They're looks finished remodeling and got little better experience. Some of staff was not too happy. A kinda nice man worked stocking where juices are helped me located the pumpkin pie spice and then walked to get the SB bottled water and this time they had in the cooler. Cashier young man Bryan (says on receipt didn't wear badge or smiled) waited on me with a greeting Hi and then "have a good one". They need to enforce staff to wear proper work attire, a badge no phones used, and smile!!!! I'll try not to go back there since only one person doesn't work there anymore who I'll be nameless! Bye!!”
“I absolutely has such a wonderful grocery shopping experience. My husband and I have been coming to this grocery store for years now I remember when It was first built! But we had never left with a bigger smile than we did yesterday! Darren greeted us in the parking lot while he gathered carts and when we couldn't find the Hominy I asked him and we received different answer from any other worker; he didn't tell me what isle it was on! instead he smiled looked at us and said yes ma'am please follow me I'll take you there! What a wonderful young man! I really hope Corporate sees my message this young man I reminded me of the 90's when all workers did this! And then another pleasant surprise happened Antionio in the meat department!! First off what wonderful Customer service I don't recall ever seeing such a happy employee! He was just such a joy! He made all the customers waiting their turn, smile and laugh and we all looked at each-other and smiled! this is the Stater Bros remember! These two gentlemen have completely won our family over! I have to say this grocery store will be our first choice from now on! Not to mention how clean and organized it was too as usual! Please, I hope these two receive the recognition they deserve! “This little market is a hidden gem. They have everything in one stop including sweet bread. I haven't been in the area long and Eastvale doesn't have these Mexican grocery stores. But it's ok. Mira Loma is just around the corner to stop by here. The meat is super fresh and have excellent prices. Very tasty meat. They gave hot food to go as well and all the produce and spices your heart decides. Staff is very helpful and friendly and so are the customers. The store doesn't look so attractive from the front but don't let it deceive you. It's a great place to get your carne Asada, and notice for you menudo fans they have your menudo meat. Recommend it”
