“Store smells sooo good and has so many fresh spices and other things you can’t find at other stores and the prices are really good too. My boyfriend and I went to try the fufu egusi and the man there was so so sweet to us and excited to make it and man it was AMAZING, you can just taste the love poured into the dish. “We love the staff here. Just today on a regular shopping run, the store was pretty quiet, so we struck up a conversation at the meat counter with the gentleman working. It was a lighthearted, simple conversation that turned into a meaningful interaction when nearby employees jumped in to chat as they continued with their tasks. Great people, great vibes. I went into stater bros today and this store was smelling so fresh like cleanliness not overbearing but perfectly fresh ,everything in order very kind staff and my neighborhood shoppers friendly. “Welcome to the best Mexican food one-stop shop in Pomona, California.
They have hot food, drinks, Mexican breads and a little convenience store with butchery stands. Anything that has to do with Mexican food you can probably find it here.
After that announcement, let me tell you about the hot food. They have burritos, tacos, quesadillas and anything you want. I've tried it and it's the only place I will buy Mexican food in Pomona. Period.
They serve the best little piggy in Los Angeles!!!
They also have the Mexican breads selection, my favorite is the little pigs. Not only is the hot food good, but the Mexican breads are also my favorite here. Especially the little pig. The baker here has the perfect balanced recipe and combined with the perfect cook time. What you get is the most fluffy little piggy ? (not to sweet, perfect balance)
The only thing I didn't try yet was the butcher. It all looks amazing too though.

Just be warned the parking lot is a bit small. You might have to park on the street if it's busy.
All the staff here were very friendly.

“I have always loved Stater Brothers. It's close and convenient. And carries things I sometimes cant find at Walmart. Plus everything is not locked up behind cabinets. I just dont have the time time to wait for someone to unlock a door for everything I need to purchase. It's well organized and clean. AND most important, there are NO self check out isle. Please stay as you are. Don't fix something that is not broken. It's perfect.”

“It's a nice sized trendy looking store, great produce in a large walkthrough area along the left wall when you enter the store. The food in the self serve hot and cold bars looked very fresh, they had more vegan options than some of the full stores i've been in, and the areas were clean. The foods were clearly labeled with the ingredients, which was awesome. It is really scaled down from the full version, so don't go in expecting the same variety of snacks, juices, bulk spices or nuts. But they do a great job of covering the basics. The workers were nice and helpful, and the cashier said they'll be expanding it into a full store, so that will be a huge bonus. Even as a 365 I'd shop there again.
Had to drop review to 4 stars. Went to return items and was advised only the store supervisor had the code to do (and she was currently locked away in her office taking a test for the next hour). They don't have a customer service area to do returns. The store manager said he didn't even have the code to do the return. Good grief.”

“I had the absolute best experience today with a cashier named Gilbert at Stater Bros. He is genuinely the friendliest person I’ve ever met. When he asked how my day was and I said “good, how about you?” he replied, “I have the opportunity to help you today, and that’s all I need.”
That kind of positivity and kindness is rare and so refreshing. He is pure joy in human form protect this man at all costs. Stater Bros is incredibly lucky to have someone like Gilbert representing them.”
“I am a frequent shopper at Grocery Outlet and have been to over half a dozen of their stores. Each one is independently owned so they're all a little different. This one near Ontario Mills is one of the best organized. If you're a bargain hunter it's worth going to more than one outlet - for example this one had lots of flashing toothbrushes for .99 (grandkid loves them) that I couldn't find at other stores. Highly recommend this store, only issue is they can be short of shopping carts but they have great responsive customer service, just ask for help.”
