“I travel to the greater Los Angeles area several times a year and have spent the last TWO YEARS looking for a "gym away from home"....I finally found it!!! The Wellrock features small group training that focuses on form and function through just the right combination of strength training and endurance. I had the opportunity to work with three different trainers in one week - all of whom were outstanding! Each made me feel welcome, answered my questions, and was very encouraging and supportive. Each day's workout was well planned, organized, and challenging. Thank you Wellrock - if I could give you 10 stars, I would!”

“The gym is clean, with tons of machines, free weights, treadmills, elliptical, etc. They will have anything you would want and more. They also have pool, hottub, steam room, and basketball court. The location is great, the parking is easy, and the staff seem nice.I would recommend doing a 3 day trial and going in to talk to someone about signing up. They do have great deals.”

“Carina created a wonderful place to get strong and meet strong women! I signed up at the end of 2021, because of the small group training option. It’s affordable, and you can workout while maintaining a safe distance from others. Carina keeps the facility clean and sanitary. There are plenty of options in terms of equipment to cater to your training needs. Carina will adjust your workout based on your preferences, abilities, and injuries. I noticed a significant difference in my strength, endurance, and overall health. Carina and the (predominantly) women here are friendly, caring, and supportive. This is a great place to go whether you’re a strong athlete or just starting your fitness journey.”

“I’m finishing up a two week trial of Hype and I love it! They truly are positive and welcoming! I have ADHD and sometimes with the music, lights, microphone and multiple instructions for HiiT I have trouble memorizing the circuit exercises and Kate has been amazing coming over to remind me and support- not the experience I’ve had at other gyms (cough, ahem Golds Gym). Definitely going to buy a pack of more classes!”

“I dropped in to an 8 am class while visiting family. The website said "join for the fitness, stay for the community" which I find to be the best thing about CrossFit. The coach was super knowledgeable and led a good warm up. Everyone was super nice and supportive of each other.”

“I’m in town a couple times a year and I just need a place to work out for a week at a time.Mission Fitness is that place. They have a great 1 week and 2 week pass that fits perfectly for my situation.So much equipment: benches, racks, platforms, you name it. Parking lot is always full, but still almost never have to wait for things. Chris is a nice guy too to top it all off.”

“I enrolled with Pendulum about 2 months ago and my experience from initial enrollment has been great. All of the staff are professional, responsive, and kind. The classes will work you extremely hard, but the coaches make it great. Despite being a large group, there are all different levels, from beginner to advanced. The coaches will be there to support you every step of the way. They are patient, kind, motivating, and genuinely want to see you succeed. After 2 months, my sentiment toward working out hasn’t changed (still have GREAT disdain), but I am showing up and doing the work; something I haven’t regretted. I’d highly recommend Pendulum for anyone interested in giving Cross Fit a try and has hesitations. You will be okay at Pendulum!”

“Sanctuary Fitness embodies everything you'd want in a new group HIIT gym you're trying out: welcoming, high energy, organized, and clean. The second I walked in for the very first time, I just knew that they love every single one of their customers, old or new - the front desk employee was super sweet in giving me a quick tour of the gym before I got started to familiarize myself. Once the previous class was over, she happily introduced me to the instructor for my class who gave me the rundown of how the class will work. The set up is super similar to most HIIT classes if you've taken one before: 4 sections with 2-3 different workouts that you'll complete in a certain amount of time then rotate to complete them all in 45 minutes. Every day are different focuses and I came on an arm/ab focused day. It was overall super fun, do-able for anyone (fitness background or not) & Adlai was an energetic + motivating instructor!! Highly recommend - however, DO come early for your class because metered parking can be super tough in the area especially in the morning!! I got super lucky in finding 1 quick for my 8 am class at 7:40.”

“I was surprised by how this gym could have so many glowing five star reviews but after going there I now understand and am leaving my own! Everything is done right and the space, size, energy, music, attitude are all top notch. It definitely has none of the aggro crossfit baggage which I understand some people want but jf you are looking for something more fun then combat , give it a try! If the website and photos seem like the place you would enjoy then you probably will! Prices and terms are super as well!”

“Defcon Athletics has a great training environment and community. Coach Vaz and the team of coaches at the gym are knowledgeable with their workouts and various movements. The gym is also very clean and well kept (huge plus!). I have trained at many other gyms and this one is among the best!”

“Okay need to update. So I downgraded my membership and got double charges by basecamp for both my new and old levels. Called, and they said they'd fix it right up and call me back later that day. I had to call back and talk to someone, and was again assured it would be fixed and refunded. Well, here we are two weeks later....and nothing has been refunded. I had to call again today and was assured someone would fix it and call me back. They also offered to just credit my account. With the money, which normally I would be fine with, but because of how this has gone, I don't trust that it would be credited correctly...hopefully this works out today... Okay refund has finally been issued...so hopefully it's off my card soon. UPDATE: All fixed!!”

“I did the free first class trial. The instructor was kind and met with me beforehand. It's a guided workout in a class. It was a typical class, similar to F45. I've done orangetheory, Barry's, F45, and a lifting-class type of gym. I'd say they're most similar to F45. The workout is short due to the warm up and cool down time. There are NO mirrors anywhere. I disliked this because I like to look in the mirror to make sure my form and movements are correct. They didn't have very heavy weights for a lower body day. It was like a cardio workout that focused on your legs. I think this is a good place for true beginners who are looking to workout in a guided program for the first time. The instructor did help others who needed more guidance, so I think this would be helpful for people who have never gone to the gym before. But if you're more experienced or more athletic, I think a different gym for classes could be more beneficial”

“Coach Simone is special. I have patients that I refer to him, simply because he has the eye of a doctor as a coach…and that’s a rare combination in the industry. He knows exactly where your faults lie, and how to get you better without compromising anything. CrossFit Montrose is special. Their community keeps you pushing, enabling you to test the strength of your muscles, but not the integrity of your joints! Huge props to Coach Simone and the CrossFit Montrose team!”

“I truly enjoy rev cycle's non-cycling classes and the facilities are newer. My least favorite aspect about Rev is that the single-occupancy restroom is often understocked--no hand soap etc. Despite this, easy access to the location and parking always available in the side streets.”
