“There are toy stores, and then there are you stores. This is the latter.
Small and pleasant from the outside, the adventures within are T-Rex tall. The staff was engaging without rushing. The entire experience felt like being transported to another time when toy stores were actually for children to have fun without sales pressure. And if there was a dinosaur oriented toy they didn't have... I bet they could get it immediately!”
“Really great place for all your Warhammer needs. Went on a Saturday and it sure was busy! People playing kill teams, painting minis, and the main dude Kyle was super helpful and knowledgeable about the product he helped so much and even answered some game questions while answering my newbie questions!”
“Amazing local store with everything you could think of to get started/keep going with your hobby. Prices on par if not better than the big retailers for kits, lower for some items like sprays. They allow you to place items on hold which I did right after my first visit! Will recommend to anyone getting into building kits”
“We love claw machines! This place is located right across from the Sega pop up shop (June 2025) so it's nice to stop by after grabbing lunch. Definitely hard to get a prize but easy access and clean space! Always a fun time ^^”

“This location has 3 stories, so I would assume you're able to find something you're interested in given your interest isn't too niche. Staff are hospitable. Must make a purchase, includes Starbucks, according to the clerk to have parking validated with <2hr being free at the nearby carpark.”
“When I went to the LEGO Store at the Glendale Galleria, I felt really excited as soon as I walked in because there were huge LEGO sets and cool displays everywhere. My favorite part was the Pick-a-Brick wall where I could choose different pieces and imagine what I could build with them. I also liked looking at the big models and the car sets because they looked super detailed and realistic. The store was bright, colorful, and full of creative ideas, which made me want to build something right away. Overall, it was a fun experience that made me feel inspired and happy because I love LEGO and building new things.”
“Cute small shop has a huge inventory of lots of Sanrio products. Pricing is of course "not cheap" (trademark, genuine products), if your a fan you won't leave without a lil something red or pink! Gorgeous handbags, backpacks, pillows, charms, hair assesories, keychains... on & on. Just luv My Melody & My Little Twin Stars! Staff/owners are so darling, helpful, personable & gracious as you enter and exit the shop. Meter Parking in the area is a challenge so if you plan to visit make time and enjoy the walk along all the shopping strip. Food, frozen yogurt, adjacent mall. There's a lot in the area.”
“kind of had a grudge against this place for a while (don't ask, i had my reasons ??) but recently ordered 3 posture pal hippers from their website-- 2 for me, 1 as a gift. the 2 i opened were the exact ones i wanted and the last one was the secret! my faith in monkey pants has been restored and i will shop with them again ?↕️??”
“Do not sleep on this store. It's an absolute must when in LT. So many cool pieces! I don't know much about collectibles but this place makes me want to start about 12 collections of my own. Super friendly service is just an added bonus.”
“Out of towner who visited for an event. The store has two very different halves. First, the game space was more spacious than normal but had the normal game store "things stacked everywhere" vibe that you either love or hate. The second half was the store portion, which had an above average selection without having too much. Ever walk into a game store with so many games you just don't know if any of them are any good? Not that here. The selection is that appropriate balance of curated and broad. Appreciate the stores willingness to host events and keep the hobbies alive, and for that alone I'd never give less than 5 stars.”

“Buttercup is such a cute baby store in Pasadena! Annie is super helpful and knowledgeable regarding all things baby, but especially when it came to stroller & car seats. We were able to test out the stroller and car seat in store and ended up purchasing the nuna stroller and car seat and are so excited to use it for our baby to be. Definitely recommend coming to buttercup!”
“A tiny hobby shop that focuses on Japanese model kits and stationery. I picked up a Gundam snap‑fit model and some washi tape. The owner helped me find the right glue and tools. They even offered to show me how to paint the joints in-store. Perfect for fans of niche crafts”

“A hidden gem - well, not so hidden, but I never noticed it all this time that it's been here! Shop opened up two years ago. The owner Millie is super sweet. I wandered in and was welcomed by her two little girls. It was a whole experience. It felt like I walked into a little girl's side quest or day dream. Come here if you're looking for a gift for your friend's kids. That's why I was here. You'll definitely find something - maybe even for yourself! (I did, couldn't help myself.)”

“A lovely little bookstore with a few gift and card accoutrements at the front and a large selection of books to peruse.
The clerk (owner?) that I dealt with when I went in was highly personable and assisted me in getting a book they didn't have in stock. It took only a few days for them to get it in! Amazon may have done it faster, but the pricing and small shop experience definitely outweighs that. Plus I was able to find a really cute collection of cards that I bought for my siblings and niece and nephews birthdays coming up.
Plus there's a Dobby behind the counter and a little hide and seek game for kids who visit the store (see the counter for the details, I forgot them). Nothing beats that local shop experience.”
“Downtown shops can be a little scary. Not this tiny hole in the wall that packs as much fun as Disney land. These are the people your party supply store get their toys from, I think. Good variety, great prices, attentive service for such busy folks. Always first with the new trend, too.”
