“I thought it would be some stuffy old country club, but it was actually really nice, the drinks were good and the staff was freindly. The only thing I would change is the parking, it definately gets tight on busy nights.”

“If you are looking for the premier dance space in Southern California, look no further than Lai Lai Dance Studio in Alhambra. Having been a student here for 10+ years, I can attest to the high quality of their faculty, and choices of instructors (both their private and group lessons). The 1-hr long group lesson fee is reasonable ($17/group lesson) and the classes are held mostly at the convient time of the day (from 6:30pm to 8:30pm).
The venue itself is top-tier: recently remodeled, impeccably decorated, new rest rooms, a complex and suspended hardwood floor (that flex a little to protect your knees from shocks) and a high ceiling that provides an open and airy atmosphere.
Logistics are a breeze thanks to the large on-site parking lot and its central location near Alhambra’s best amenities. On top of having the most competitive rates in the area, the management (led by the wonderful Brenda) creates a warm, professional environment.
Their bi-annual showcases are a highlight of the year, offering a great platform for dancers of all levels. A truly exceptional experience!”
“Charming Victorian house turned B\&B with beautiful period decor. Each room has its own vibe — I stayed in the Rose Room with a clawfoot tub. The breakfast was homemade and better than most cafés. Hosts were warm and attentive but never intrusive. Peaceful, historic neighborhood. A total gem if you like unique stays”

“Had a free night and were looking for something fun to do. Found a comedy night going down at The Glendale Room which was like 2 blocks away from the hotel. PERF! AND $5 a ticket!?! Can't beat that with a stick!! Such a fun cozy spot! Saw a show called Stuffed cabbage stand up with up and coming comedians. They were all fantastic!!”

Teddy was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional from start to finish. Even with us planning from out of state, he made sure everything ran smoothly and that every detail was taken care of. On the day of the wedding, he went above and beyond to ensure everything flowed seamlessly and that all of our guests were well taken care of.

However, I suppose the Convention Center is a very fine venue for the event.”
“We had our wedding here, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. From day one, the team was so responsive, every message, every question, every little detail, they were on it right away. Planning a wedding for over 300 guests sounded impossible at first, but they made it feel effortless. Every part of the process was smooth, organized, and actually enjoyable.
And the food… oh my goodness, the food! There was such an incredible variety every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The appetizers were perfect, the main courses were delicious, and the ice cream was out of this world. It wasn’t just good wedding food it was genuinely amazing food that people still talk about weeks later.
The night itself was pure magic. The space looked stunning, everything flowed perfectly, and we truly got to enjoy our night without a single worry. “The first time I went to see the little mermaid last year. I kept the beautiful bucket of which I put popcorn in. I love the movie as much as I love the detail of the theater in the more time it has gone to becoming the respectable long lasting memeoris that havent be able to share their story. The staff that was there was always helpful and very professional with how they address the guest and the instructions on the tickets was instructed to follow as directed of to be escorted from the building. With all the carful time it took to prepare every single day. I would be happy to have be aprt of this city as much as I would take the time to work for every single job career volunteering and participating in every event just to be able to have had the traditional value that is being the greatest city in the country to the rest of the world. The Theater: Very well maintained. It's a small theater so every seat is a good seat. There is cute little bar inside the building. There is a seating area.
The Parking: Parking structure (fee). The parking lot is connected to the theater.”
“La Canada Flintridge Country Club hosted our annual Charity golf tournament and was very accommodating. Joy was the event coordinator and explained everything in depth. Scott is the club pro that set up the tournament to run very smoothly. The food that the club serves was delicious and everyone complimented on how good it was.The course was in excellent condition.I will definitely recommend recommend LCFCC to anyone looking for a great course and club to host your tournament.”

Update: One major item I forgot to mention; this venue was near the site of the LA fires in Jan 2025. The amount of work the Noor team did to support the impacted local community left me so reassured that this was the ideal place to be married. “Fun place for a night out with friends or family. They can accommodate for large groups with 32 bowling lanes. They serve small appetizers, have a boba and bar area, pool table and some arcade/claw machines.
The are multi-stall restrooms, clean and are handicap accessible.
There's plenty of shared lot parking.
Note: they charge $1+ for a pitcher of ice water.”
“My twin happy to play at Play lab indoor playground. They love to play sand outdoors on sunny day . We enjoy variety tea and coffee for free. Free diaper for young toddler too. All staff are nice and kind. Good price for twin 50$ monthly membership for both locations. Many good activities like dad group, dance class, sensory story time... Highly recommended. “Arcave Room is an amazing kids’ birthday party place! The indoor arcade setup kept the kids entertained for hours with unlimited gameplay, and the retro games were a hit with both kids and adults. The staff took care of everything, from setup to cleanup, and the dedicated party host made sure everyone had a great time. If you’re looking for the perfect indoor venue for a kids’ birthday party, Arcave Room is the place to go!”
“Family event, wedding, service was a little bit slow but food was great fresh, it was a hospitable and friendly environment. Some of the valet guys need some lessons in courtesy, and $18 for the service isn't exactly appealing either”

“We hosted my wife’s milestone birthday here, and it was fantastic from start to finish! Only rented the outdoor space and it had the perfect mix of warmth and energy on a beautiful Socal evening. The staff went above and beyond, staying attentive without being intrusive. I had DJ, food, dessert vendors and 70-ish guests so plenty of space. The music setup worked perfectly, and the lighting added a great vibe once the party got going. Everyone raved on how fun the night was! We left feeling grateful so support this awesome community in Altadena and the venue!”
