“I've organized two 300+ people plus parties at this venue with LCFCC and would return without a doubt. The coordinator, Joy, and her staff were professional, experienced, considerate, and invested in helping make sure our event was successful and our guests had a great time. 5 stars for the entire staff. The venue itself has a naturally amazing view, day or night, which reduces the need for heavy decoration. On-site parking was ample and close. The view is also amazing from the lot. Venue has multiple rooms to choose from, we booked the entire space and was able to create activities specific to each. We selected the classical buffet amd various passed appetizers, overall the taste and quality was great. I had no complaints from the guests, all complements. Salmon is challenging to prep for large groups, and they've delivered consistently. Bar was well-stocked and bartenders were solid. Venue can provide all your standard party material and some AV. We had our own vendors for some activities, which was straightforward to arrange with the coordinator. Price was reasonable considering the included amenities onsite. Joy, the coordinator, and the team leads were onsite and actively monitoring all night to ensure a smooth event flow.”

“The best Chinese foods I've had in recent years. Someone had spoken highly about this place. So, today I tried it out with my family. All of us were completely impressed with the quality & taste of the 5 dishes we ordered, even their rice & tea tastes great :) Services were really good as well. “My buddy and I needed to knock out 2 hours because I drove my wife to the Pantages theatre to see Momma Mia. My buddy found this place on line. We went and what an awesome place. Lots of comfortable couches and large chairs. Tables and many ash trays and torches on all the tables. They have their own house blend cigars. I am a Maduro fan so we got two cigars. The cigars were recommended by the friendly girl that works there. There is no alcohol but they have soda and water. The price was fair and they have a bunch of TVs. It was a great time and we enjoyed the cigars!! I will definitely be going back when my wife wants to go to the Pantages again!! GREAT PLACE and I will be back!!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Bissell House!We were looking for something more charming than a big-box hotel, and Airbnbs have become too much work quite frankly with all of the “rules” that come with them. Bissell House was absolutely perfect – the owners put so much care and thought into the place. I couldn’t stop taking pictures and videos – the whole place was decorated to perfection and made you feel like you were right at home.The complementary breakfast was also incredible! We had a yogurt parfait and French toast. The service was incredible – we didn’t have to lift a finger.I highly recommend Bissell House. It is well worth the price (which honestly wasn’t bad and is comparable to what hotels are today with all of their added fees). I hope anyone who stays there has as magical a time as we did.”

“Going to the Pantages is an experience. Been more than a dozen times, see something new every time. We were row S for our most recent show, and could see the stage clearly. It was cold inside! Ok to bring a small blanket.”

However, it seemed a bit crowded due to the large number of event crowds. If you don’t mind walking about a blockParking at E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101 is $12 per day. It's a bit disappointing that there is no discount on parking.”

“I have been to this place multiple times, for weddings or other types of parties. The food is very good, and the service is excellent.Only one thing I dislike about this banquet hall is the chairs. They have very hard glass chairs. After sitting for an hour, you start to get a backache and want to walk around or go home. I wish they would replace them with softer chairs.”

“A friend recommended Sayat Nova when I was looking to host a 50th birthday party for my husband. Edmond the owner was super friendly and accommodating right from the start, he really went the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met. On the day of the event when we arrived hall was set up beautifully and everything was spotless. After the party guests kept commenting that the food was superb and wait staff was great. Sayat Nova serves you a Full Menu and will not nickel and dime you like most other halls. Most important of all we felt welcome here and can't wait to return! 5 stars all the way!”

“Went for Valentine’s Day dinner… keep in mind that most “holiday” meals with a set menu are generally inflated in costs. But showcase the “best of…” the restaurants offerings.In this case the food was tasty…IF you have the stomach capacity of a 4 year old. You know those fancy restaurants that have one or two bites of food and some swirled sauces on the plate for presentation… welp, this was a version of that.Portions were ridiculously small almost angry worthy.The food quality and flavor is good but cmon, 4 pieces of tofu? In an Italian restaurant?Beet salad with literally one slice of beet and 1.5 bites of cabbage?It was like getting served after dinner mint sized portions for your actual meal.Server was nice, I’d give a 4 out of 5 since he did not follow up at all after the initial order or check on drinks.Oh and an automatic 20% gratuity on the check.All in all the food is tasty, service is good by today’s lower standards, but the price to value ratio is -5 starsBut hey if you’re on a diet, this is the place to go!!! 5 bites and your whole meal is done!!Might be worth a chance to try again on a regular menu and dining evening…we’ll see”

“We had a networking event for college students and industry professionals and the Chloe's venue and staff were amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was accommodating with all our requests. This was the first time we hosted an event like this and they were great at rolling with the punches as we figured stuff out. The space was unique and fit our needs perfectly. They were able to play whatever kind of music we wanted and had a mic on hand. We wanted to split up into different groups throughout the night and there was so much space to spread out. We also enjoyed using the pool table at the end of the evening. Highly recommend this venue!”

“We held one of our pre-wedding events at the University Club of Pasadena ballroom and it was wonderful. Cinthia and her team did an outstanding job accommodating us and our Indian traditions. They allowed us extra space and time when we asked and let us have lots of flexibility in our design choices. The space is clean and the lights are lovely. They set up a platform, let us use space to store supplies, hooked up the screens, and offered coffee and tea anytime.The food was to write home about! We got to do a tasting of the food and gave the chef some notes. And boy did he deliver! We had a 3-course Mexican meal with chipotle salad, enchiladas with rice and beans, and flan! Our other meal was raved about by guests for days. We also had a 3-course Thai menu with Tom ka hai soup, eggplant curry with veg noodles and egg rolls, and Thai iced tea panna cotta. It was fantastic.We would love to host another event here again. It’s just lovely! Thank you!!”

“We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday in their Glendale location and we loved everything about this place. The owner was sweet and wonderful to work with, her workers were friendly and attentive towards us and our guests. The venue itself is THE perfect place to celebrate your big day and the best part of everything was how happy my daughter was. She literally couldn’t stop smiling. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed the party. We’ll definitely be back.”

“This small, boutique hotel deserves every 5 star rating that it has!Check in was fantastic. I got a text the day prior to our arrival confirming details and providing check in instructions. The metro stops just a few blocks away, so it's easy to walk to if you don't want to bring a car (which there is free parking for as well).We booked the chapter 2 room, which I was worried might be kind of small and dark, but the room itself looked even better than the pictures and was very spacious and very light. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows.The in room amenities were great, with a pour over coffee maker and delicious coffee and tea, really nice Le Labo toiletries, plates, utensils, bowls, cups and wine glasses at the mini bar and even a bottle of Dr. Bronner's to wash up with. There was also a record player with records which was fun and this old timey game which was also unique and fun.The location was great with being able to walk to the Covell Bar, tacos, sushi, Brazilian, coffee, pretty much any kind of food that you'd want. It was also a good workout to walk up the hill to the Griffith Observatory.Also amazing, no added resort fee. It's definitely out of the way and non-conspicuous, but if that's what you're looking for, this is an amazing hotel!”
