“I work early morning and this chevron unlike others that claim 24/7 service is not open at 2 am. So I drive to the one closest to my job and there open and ready for service. They would have a signup stating undergoing maintenance.”

“Centrally located off Highway 29. Long hoses for easy access at any pump. I like the new pumps with contactless payment options. I love to use my safway rewards for discounts off gas prices.”

“I stopped there on the tail end of a long bike ride. There was such a nice vibe going on with some of the customers just hanging out and being friendly and jovial. The man behind the counter greeted me and asked me about my ride. Nice people and a great selection of drinks and snacks. I'm making this food mart a regular stop on my rides.”

And best of all, they always have crab year around, which is my favorite part✨️?”

“I like coming here especially after I am done with my appointments at Kaiser Permanente Hospital right across the street. I buy lottery and gas here. They used to sell alcoholic beverages but they lost their license about 2 or 3 years ago. Which is why they now have Krispy Krunchy Chicken taking up the empty space.Jimmy, the proprietor, is a nice man. So was his quiet, beautiful wife Helen. Sadly, she died of cancer less than a year ago. She was still young, in her late 50s or early 60s! ?”

“When I went in to get gas the pump wasn't working...That was irritatating . I was just going to leave and a gentleman popped out of the office and apologise. He said it will be working in a minute or so. He was right and he also came back out to make sure it was working . Thank you Sir. !”

“This is a great corner store. They tried to help out during the shut down by offering things you couldn't find in the grocery stores. Flour, corn meal, milk, bread. The staff is always helpful and are also part of the community. It gives me a warm feeling inside when I go grab Takis, Hot Cheetos, and Gatorade for my heathens, that they will be safe and watched out for if they stop by.”

“Costco is amazing. We purchased an LG refrigerator on line, it was delivered within 2 days. The delivery team unpacked it, installed it beautifully in a tight spot in our kitchen and removed the old refrigerator within a very short time. They were so efficient, knowledgeable and courteous! Two and a half months have gone by and the LG refrigerator has not performed well, first the ice maker didn't work, then the water dispenser leaked and then the entire fridge stopped cooling. I tried to work with LG directly, but it was not a satisfactory response. I contacted Costco Customer Service and they were awesome!!!!! I have authorization to return the fridge to Costco and have a pick up scheduled for 3 days from now. Since I didn't want a straight across exchange for a new LG, I left it as a straight return. And of course I went on line and ordered another refrigerator from Costco.com, not an LG this time.I will forever be a fan and customer of Costo, they stand by their products and make it right every time with NO HASSLE,Thank you Costco!”

“It was nice. The gentleman pumped my gas, though he was the only one. He was rather surprised I gave a tip. But I was REALLY Surprised he actually came out of there to pump it, especially when it is on Springs Road where the topic of the day is Robberies.”

“Who buys food at Costco? How does anyone deal with all that bulk without having your kitchen explode?I buy most of my food from Costco with 1-2 trips to other supermarkets per month. I make 1-2 trips to Costco per week. I've been doing it for years and I've evolved *rules* for shopping there. Let's talk about the fresh/perishable food first. I buy one item per category (unless it's a special occasion like a party), e.g. one meat, one veggie, one dairy, etc... I notice as a rule of thumb that for many items Costco comes to roughly 60% of the supermarket cost. Don't try to overthink this. You'll spend too much time micromanaging. Pick your line in the sand and stick to it. So, if I use 60% I've broken even and don't cry about it. If I can't use it up, that item isn't a good item to buy from Costco. You also have to be willing to repackage items into more manageable sizes. What about new foods? Suppose I don't like it? That is always a problem. Take a picture of the item and buy it in your regular market. Note the price. After a while I decided this was cumbersome and time consuming and just decided to buy it at Costco. Yes, I've had to compost stuff but I've been pleasantly surprised more often. Remember to taste everything Costco offers. Here's a little meander thru Costco on one of my food shopping trips. My first stop is the towel section. Apologies for the diversion but this is how Costco turns you into an addict. I bleach my towels so they have be white and durable. I hate shopping around in the big department stores and discovering their new featured towel is flimsy. Costco keeps some items as a staple and you just buy it over and over. They've got a big stack at the end of the aisle and their stock of this item is large even for Costco. There is a coupon coming. (3 photos). Yeah, I've been buying this towel for 10 years or more. I actually skip the meat/veggies since I have a bit of meat and veggies. Stick to the discipline!A bag of frozen Kirkland strawberries keeps longer than fresh (see photo) and goes great with yogurt.I do stop by the sausages (3 photos) but do not succumb even with a coupon. Besides I'll probably be back in 4-5 days. Gotta cook everything first. Ling Ling potstickers (2 photos) - not the tastiest brand but it's Chinese New Year! Party exemption! The Kirkland yogurt - Breakfast! yum (1 photo)- Almond flour crackers - Delish but still have some others at home - had there been a coupon I would have purchased the package limit (1 photos)granola/cereal - more breakfast - makes good snacks too (1 photo)Kirkland steak strips - so economical I skip making it myself1 photo - the receipt!Of course you noticed there are hardly any perishables. You'd have to look at my shopping over a month to get the real picture. I go to Costco so often I can afford to rotate my stock a few items at a time. In short, you manage Costco exactly the same way you manage any other grocery store. You limit your purchases and buy only what you need. The only thing that changes is the timing. Costco just don't have it;No fresh herbsSuper perishable veggies (like those herbs) - most of their stock stays for at least a week, often two. Ethnic stuff - chicken's feet anyone?Less you think I have a ginormous kitchen I have exactly four cabinets.”

“Arco gas on Sonoma Blvd. Vallejo, CA is where I get my gas. My car runs good with it and it tends to last for about a week city driving and hwy driving I can go to Hard Rock Casino in Wheatland, CA twice before I need to fill up again. Plus they have a drive thur car wash that gets your cleaner than most other drive thru car washes I've used. And last but not least if you need air in your tires you can go right inside the door, turn around (like you're going back out the door) look up on the left (arm's reach by the door) and turn it yourself or even grab a quick snack while you're there and they sell lottery too. The only draw back is at night after 10pm they only accept cash and you have to use the night window. They have a good grade of gas and diesel too. And for the grade of gas they're usually the cheapest.”
