“This hotel is amazing for families! Bunk beds with two queens, two showers, lots of counter space in the room and a large table. Everything was perfect, EXCEPT the sheets are awful! It sounds like you are sleeping on newspaper or tinfoil. Every time someone rolled over in their bed, it woke me up. The top bunk/ladder were very creaky also, but seemed secure. Beds were comfortable and room had plenty of pillows and towels- usually we have to request extras. It was almost exactly 1 mile to World of Disney store in downtown Disney. Highly recommend for families with multiple kids. It was definitely pricier than other good neighbor hotels, but the extra beds were perfect.”

“We stayed three nights at this hotel with two kids during a Disneyland stay. We were very happy with the location. The walk to and from the Disney parks did not feel too far for us or our kids (9 & 7) even after a long day of playing. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean and met our needs. It was great that it was right across the street from stores that we could walk to and pick up a few things that we forgot to pack, too. The hallway/other room noise was a bit loud at times, and parking was pretty tight, but the staff was helpful and accommodating with that as well. Based on our overall experience, we would definitely look at staying here again for a future disneyland trip.”

“For the price, we were extremely satisfied and happy. This was not a place that I would recommend for most posh or lavish travelers. The room was always clean and well maintained, but definitely shows some wear and tear. The bed was very comfortable, we had plenty of pillows and blankets and the walk-in closet was nice. It was a moderate walk to Downtown Disney and the parks (you can see the Incredicoaster from the parking lot, so that's exciting!) and there was little to no other outside food available. We did discover on the last day that they offered a sort-of room service (think Uber Eats specifically for hotels) and that we had a discount at a restaurant, but that was too far to walk after spending all day in the park.”

“More like a bed & breakfast! We were excited to stay at the Candy Cane after reading all of the great reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our daughter loved how the housekeeping staff rearranged her stuffed animals every time they came to refresh our room. The trolley drivers were very engaged, chatting with everyone and letting children ring the bells before every morning departure. During one bell ringing, one of the groundskeepers outside of the trolley joined in the fun by acting startled, then waving to the kids. Breakfast was our favorite! Not just the great, fresh continental breakfast (some of which rotated daily), but the feeling of family with the staff and other guests. It was cool in the mornings, so they had the fire pits going by the pool. There are hot food options: croissant breakfast sandwiches and waffles - both delicious. If you visit during the holidays, you’ll love the festive decor! The recently renovated rooms have everything you need. We had a premium room, which we would recommended for its larger size, amenities and breakfast delivery option - although we chose to go to breakfast every day, because we enjoyed it so much. We did request a rollaway bed, as our kids didn’t want to share a bed. It’s a twin, but worked just fine for our teen son who is over 6 feet tall. We did a combo of walking and taking the trolley to and from the parks, but the walk is short and safe, on a nice tree-lined walkway that’s on the same side of the street as the parks. There are several places next to or just across the street from the property: drugstore, 7/11, pizza place, Mexican restaurant, Subway, and others. We have stayed on property, and still could not give a higher recommendation to the Candy Cane Inn. This is the only place we’ll stay for future trips, and we can’t wait for our next visit! Be sure to book well in advance as this little gem is VERY popular.”

“Beautiful hotel with such thoughtful touches from the designers. Loved the grounds and how spacious everything was. Ended up in a room that was bigger than usual, and we were so comfortable. The winter months meant no swimming so we were unable to check that out but thats okay. Its not super close to the park as you have to walk the entire distance of downtown disney in order to get to the gates, be prepared for that.”

“We have gone to this hotel for several years now. You do pay a price for going here. But, I am beyond satisfied with the service, cleanliness, ambiance, food options, pool, spa, etc. This year was the first year we had some "hiccups" with the hotel but they were VERY quick to ensure that we felt that their attention and care was highly focused in our direction. We will be definitely coming back here and I will give a HUGE kudos to Adam and Molly for taking care of us this year! More years of great memories to come for my family.”

“Stayed 2 nights for a visit to Disneyland. It takes about 15 minutes on foot, so it is cost-effective.The interior of the room was very clean and the guidance from the front desk staff was professional.Very satisfied with parking and reasonable priceThe cafe and restaurant in the lobby are also open at hours suitable for entering Disneyland. The reviews were good, but I couldn't go because the timing wasn't right. It is convenient as there are many convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel. The biggest advantage is parking; there is no separate parking fee.I felt reassured that access to the underground parking lot was done with my room key.Of course, the individual is responsible for any loss, but...When checking in, park your car on the ground and then park it underground once you receive the key. Go to the room by elevator. The room was not too small, so I ended my trip with a comfortable stay.It seems like the rooms are cleaned every day.It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Disneyland.”

“The property is a bit hard to find initially. Parking up front is limited but they gave gated parking in the back for a vehicle if you bring one or check one in. Upon entering it’s a very quaint and traditional atmosphere. The employees are very friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. The rooms are spacious and very cute, we enjoyed the outside patio very much. The decor is nice but the hotel is older and that is displayed in their pictures. Being an older hotel you will notice certain features such as the AC doesn’t function the best, maybe that was just our room either way it wasn’t an issue. The beds were comfortable however, the pillows were terrible. They have to be the worst pillows I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. The breakfast is not a hot breakfast it’s grab and go but they have nice options. They have a 24/7 coffee bar which is nice along with a full pantry to purchase items from. The hotel smelled so fresh and clean all day everyday. The hotel is close to everything! You can walk if to just about anything you need. It’s family and child friendly.Overall, a delightful stay.Nearby activities: Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, a golf course, shopping, grocery. Lots to do!Safety: It’s Anaheim Ca so there are still precautions to take but the hotel itself is safe and has gated parking.Walkability: The location is close to restaurants, grocery shops and a golf course along with other businesses.Food & drinks: 24/7 coffee bar. The grab and go breakfast has nice options but isn’t hot. They have a full pantry of items for purchase.”

“Hotel rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was simple but adequate for family with young kids. Very convenient location to walk to Disney shuttle bus station (5m walk).Only disappointing thing was the very soft water pressure in the bathroom and the expensive overnight parking.”

“For Disneyland trip, was perfectly close to walk! Valet only parking was a surprise but made for an appreciated sense of added security. Close to IHOP and Danny's, which was also a wonderful surprise. Beds could be a bit newer (felt the bed springs). Recommend the 5th or 4th floor, if you want a decent view of Disneyland fireworks.Rooms: Need newer beds. Fold out twin was a surprise.Nearby activities: DISNEYLAND!Safety: Valet only parking with parking lot security.Walkability: Easy walking to Disneyland entrance, Denny's and IHOP.Food & drinks: Door-Dash for room service!”

“On checking in we was greated by a friendly receptionist. We were given a ground floor room looking onto the pool. The room was comfortable and clean. It would have been really handy to have a bedside cabinet both sides of the bed. But I did put a chair there. (I wear glasses) plus my medication. Maids cleaned daily but on a few occasions we just asked for bins to be emptied. I made the bed etc. It's not far to Disneyland at all. There are plenty of restaurants and Walmart isn't too far by car. The hot tub was relaxing but young children do play in it as well. So be mindful. I didnt use the pool but hubby did and said it wasn't that warm. So not sure if it's heated. We would definitely stay again if the price was right as since Jan bookings they do now charge for parking.”

“Stayed here for two nights. Close enough to the airport (SNA). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious with pancakes, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, as well as some other options. They had a nice fireplace going in the lobby. Cookies at certain times too!”

“We usually stay at a different Marriott but tried this one out. Much nicer than the other 2 Marriotts that are walking distance to the park. A bit of a walk to the park but no issue for us + low crowds. Will stay again.”

“Room was are very spacious for a 6 person family. Service was great and very helpful. Pool area was clean with plenty of chairs. The best thing was that the hot tub was huge. The walk to Disneyland was only about 12-15 min but feels faster when you are power walking to get in line early in the morning.”

“Absolutely wonderful experience. The location, room and customer service was awesome. Super close walking distance to the parks, breakfast included, and the staff were all sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay here.”

“Stayed here recently while we went to Disneyland. Our stay was great! We stayed in the studio with the kitchen. It was nice and clean and spacious. All the staff we interacted with were really friendly. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the parks. I also like that it has restaurants underneath it. There’s a blaze pizza, dumplings, Starbucks, and Walgreens. Also ihop next door. The only complaint is the WiFi wasn’t great. Besides that, Great location. Would stay here again.”

“Really solid option near the Disneyland Resort for a family friendly hotel that’s in the Hilton family. Rooms are decently sized and well appointed and very modern with a smart TV and comfortable beds. It’s got safe parking (for a fee), EV charging, about a 20 min walk to Disneyland or a less than $10 Uber. Food options are somewhat limited in the hotel but there are a ton of things close by. Noise levels are average but it is a family hotel in a family destination so be prepared for kids running down the hallway, etc. For the price and location, this really is your best option in the area.”

“I'll be honest. This is one of my customers. I'll yell you this. They are putting a lot of money into this Inn. The rooms have new beds, furniture etc. The Inn keepers are the best in hospitality. They make you feel welcomed. It's right next to Disneyland. Best StaffNearby activities: Disneyland!Walkability: Walking distance from. Disneyland”

“Perfect budget place to stay when visiting the Disney parks. I normally prefer a bigger name place to sleep but knowing that I would only be in the room to sleep and shower I did opt for a more budget friendly option. The things I look for most in a place is parking (it must be free), location (must be walking distance), food (must provide food or be close to food), good reviews in general. This place fit the bill on on points. Free parking and plenty of it, nothing worse than a place having only 20 spots for a 50 room place. I had no issue finding a parking when I arrived at 5 pm. It is walking distance to the parks. It's only about a 10 min walk to downtown Disney, then 10 more to the park entrances (because you have to walk all the way through downtown disney). As for food, they do not have any, but there is a Denny's just a block away and for a more discerning palate there is a steakhouse the same distance in the opposite direction. Overall the reviews looked good, so as you can see I booked it.Check in was a piece of cake, no issues and no surprises. There is a small deposit required. There is an elevator for the second floor. There are vending machines in case you want to grab a drink to take into the parks. There is a pool, though I did not have time to check it out.The room was clean. Maid service is only every 3 days. This seems to be normal even for the big chain these days. Not a big deal, I asked for fresh towels and was provided them with no issues. As for the amenities.... included in the shower (those refillable pumps on the wall) is body gel, shampoo and conditioner. It's not great stuff, but at least you don't have to bring your own if you don't want to. There is small bar soap for the sink. Blow dryer on the wall. There is a small microwave and mini fridge. The a/c unit is easy to use and effective. The bed was comfy and there were 6 standard size pillows for the king bed. they weren't great, but there was a lot of them, lol. I had room 210 and it was near the elevator, you could hear it "ding" every time someone used it, but it was not super obnoxious or anything.Yes it is an older building as most of the motels in the area are. But it served it's purpose and I would stay there again.”

“The candlewood suites are in a fantastic location. You're easily within walking distance to Disneyland, the Disney Resort, or the Anaheim Convention. There's also many places to eat, right next door, anything from cheesecake factory to Subway. Overall, a great place to stay.”

“Oof. We had an experience so bad they gave us a night free. Who starts plumbing repair in the middle of the night banging on pipes??? Bad choices on their part. We have been staying here for years tho and sad to see changes in a post Covid world such as no more complimentary breakfast. Those good days are long gone but the proximity to Disneyland can't be beat. Even tho they took care of their mistake, I was sleepy and not well rested for the 12 Miles we walked around in the next day. Doors need some WD 40 as they are LOud. rethinking being a repeat customer moving forward with so many other options close by.”

“We had a great stay at the Westin Anaheim. The rooms were great - clean, new, quiet and comfortable. We had some of the best sleep we have ever gotten in a hotel! The breakfast buffet was very good (fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, breads, bacon and sausage, etc.) and constantly restocked. The service was great too during breakfast (in particular Su and Rogelio) and at the bar seating in the evening. The common areas were constantly being cleaned and there appeared to be an abundance of staff (all of whom were very good). We had a great stay and would definitely come back again.”

“Very busy had to wait 20 mins for luggage carts. No Valet. Parking inside parking lot $30 fee for overnight parking. You can walk to convention center.Rooms: Nice with full kitchen but refrigerator door seal kept falling out. Pain in butt.Nearby activities: DisneylandThe pool and JACUZZI LOCATED OUTSIDE - DID NOT LIKE THAT”

“I had a great stay at Staybridge Suites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and had a good fresh breakfast every morning. My room was modern and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for families and people traveling for business. It is centrally located and the best location to see Disney fireworks at night. I appreciated the great service.”

“Nice rooms and great location close to the parks. Our room had some makeup on the sink and hadn’t been fully wiped down but aside from that it was a great, clean hotel. A bit on the pricey side.”

“The staff at this location were some of the best staff I have experienced in awhile. The gentleman at the front desk in the evening was such a delight and cheerful and made our first impression that much more enjoyable. The bar tender was also another highlight. He was so nice and held a great conversation. I travel a lot to different Marriott locations and this one has been a breath of fresh air.Walkability: Within a mile of Disney and some great food.”

“The hotel is nice and friendly. The wifi is incredible. I was able to work without problem. The atmosphere is familiar, there are many kids (due to its proximity to Disneyland), super comfortable bed, everything very nice and cozy. There are places within the property to eat. The hotel breakfast is the best and varied. thanks for a nice stay. ?”

“We first stayed here in 2017 on a visit to Disneyland and have stayed several times since. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is excellent, and the beds are comfortable. A short, easy walk to Disneyland.”

“I have no complaints...the location, the rooms, the breakfast...everything was great! We had a 3 day trip planned to Disneyland and we wanted to be close enough for us to walk to/from the park and not have to rely on shuttles. Which this place was great, not right across from the park but a few yards over. We watched the fireworks from our bedroom window. The rooms were clean and newly updated. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Yes, this is a motel not hotel but we were on the second floor and had no noise complaints or issues. The breakfast was a plus. We were able to enjoy a good breakfast before heading to the park. We had different choices for all of us and the coffee was strong! We grabbed some fruit and granola bars to take with us. The lobby has a hot beverage machine that makes a great latte and hot chocolate! The staff was very friendly.”

“The room was nice and updated. It doesn't have the red blankets that you see in the photos. It even had an alarm clock to set your phone on to wirelessly charge. We did have a plumbing problem but they came up quickly to fix it. There's a kitchenette but no stove. The complimentary coffee was delicious. There are two tvs. One in the bedroom and the other in the kitchenette/sofa area. Parking is valet only and there was a $20/day service fee plus don't forget to tip the vallet driver when they bring your car. This location is within walking distance to the Disney Parks. We went to Knottsberry Farm so had to drive there and it was about 20 minutes with Saturday Spring Break traffic. They do not have a restaurant or breakfast on the premises but plenty of places within walking distance to eat. The pool area was small but adorable and they have complimentary towels. They had two Jacuzzis and a living room like lounging area to watch TV. They also have a nice play area with pool table, Pickleball table and Foosball Table. There are large tables there and nice lounging areas to kick back and watch TV. The rooftop deck has lounging areas to sunbathe and soak up some sun with fun music playing through the speakers. There is also an area set up to barbecue with tables.Rooms: The rooms were clean and and updated. The photos do not do the room justice. I thought it looked nicer in person.Nearby activities: Disneyland was very close.Safety: It's like many places in California where you may see homeless people or other sketchy people when walking around outside of the hotel.Walkability: Plenty of places to eat and drink at without driving.Food & drinks: Jersey Mike's and Starbucks are within a 5 minute walking distance a long with a few other places to eat.Noteworthy details: Disneyland was a 10-15 minute walk.”
