“Slate Creek community has improved significantly over the last 5 years especially in the last year when the current management team took over. A lot of noticeable enhancement, better security and cleanness. I like the management team especially Elizabeth as she is very helpful and professional. The modern amenities make the living experience so exciting and the complex location is so strategic where you are surrounded with almost everything you need within a walking distance. I highly recommend Slate Creek to everyone who is looking for a clean, safe and beautiful community.Please DO NOT increase the rent every year because it's getting out of control.Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to more good stuff to come!”
“This is my first time living in Sacramento so I looked all over for housing - I decided on an apartment for convenience and community. Having been here for a year now, I am confidently happy with my choice - though it is now older being the first apt complex in the area, all the appliances are updated and work without issue. I have courtyard view and love looking at the trees and fountain. Also, despite the number of people who live here, it’s surprisingly quiet (other than barking dogs in the hall).
I honestly think the best part has been the easy parking lot (extra fee) and staff! Tito and Chelsea are very responsive for all my repair and tenant needs. Will be staying longer!
Caveat: a few roaches were an issue early on the first 2 mo but haven’t been an issue since then
I also agree with an earlier comment about safety - i wish there was no public access to the mailroom area - we are paying a premium so i would hope that i felt safe at all times in the building as well - i hope this is something 1801 can change”
“I’m a new resident to Adora townhomes, but I had to take a moment and just sing the praises of leasing consultant Eve B. She was monumentally helpful in this entire leasing process. Her warmth and demeanor were the first things that sold me. Besides truly loving the property and the community, knowing that there are humans like her as the face of the Adora reinforced and solidified my decision tenfold.”
“Management has been very helpful and were very accommodating when we moved into the townhouse.
I’ve had a great experience living at this property. The staff has always been friendly and responsive whenever I’ve needed assistance, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. The community feels safe and well-kept, and my neighbors have been respectful. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and convenient place to live.”

“Eileen is a fantastic manager who takes pride in the work she does and the place her residents call home. She lives on property so it makes it very easy to connect with her when needed. She goes above and beyond managing by holding annual events like an Easter egg hunt and breakfast, decorating contests for most holidays and even has helped residents in need with groceries and furniture. It’s so hard to help every single person or make everyone happy but she is so patient and compassionate. There is a gorgeous creek running through the property that brings beautiful wildlife you can observe. It’s overall a quiet place but a great place for families too.”

Folks, poor or bad credit, good rental history?They will work with you. Use your mouthpiece, Good credit wins with attractive move-in bonuses. Hopefully,the owners are considering renovations. The tiling and countertops sing Manilow tunes. Lol. Seriously? Lacking dual pane windows? Place screams renovate me! 1- 5 stars, staff's caring non-judgemental approach raises the overall rating from this reviewer. No photos right now, doing a Polaroid shake. “Really enjoyed living here. Jocelyn was a great manager and was always helpful. Even when we had issues with neighbor, she always took care of us. The community itself is always clean, parking is readily available, and it’s a close walk to the village which is a huge plus. We would have stayed longer but ended up buying a home. Thank you Jocelyn for making our living experience at Village pleasant.”
“Very nice apartments, so many fun and great amenities that come with the perks of living here. They even allow pets with a smaller fee than some other places. Just watch out for miss Cecilia Correa or whoever lives in 213, who seems to work or know people in the usps. Found her name and address on my package, which brought me to these apartments. Dont know why it was on there on the tracking label but just an fyi ”
“Just moved in, it's been a good experience. Everything was quick and easy. I had to submit a ticket for my AC and Gustavo was very thorough and made sure it was working properly. He even had looked at my refrigerator after a ticket had been closed. He definitely went above and beyond.”
“This place has been great! Huge shoutout to thier maintenance crew Simon who worked on my maintenance requests, it was refreshing to have someone be so responsive. I also appreciated the communication and his hard work. Another shoutout to Pari & Nicole they made the move in process seamless. It was a pleasure to work with them :) Also side bonus this place is a smoke free environment, which is rare. Would recommend this place if you're looking for your next apartment :)”

“For the price and the location this apartment was great. We noticed some mold (in the vents) and damage in the apartment prior to move in. Be prepared for them to keep a part of your security deposit telling you that you caused damage that was already there when you moved in. It was a bit noisy next to the street especially next to the gate entrance. We had over 20 maintenance requests (many batched into 1) for problems with the apartment… such as light bulbs missing or not working, toilet leaking, sink leaking. 100% not move in ready. But, on the brightside, they fixed those issues very quickly, so I’m pleased with that. If i were to live there again, I would say the 2 bedroom apartments are worth in the very low 2,000s. You get everything you need.”
“I’m just a neighbor who was walking my dog when he got loose. I had walked around looking for him for hours and began knocking on the residence doors to see if anyone found him, when they said the staff in the office found him. The residence and staff here were all so friendly and kind and went above and beyond helping me find my dog!”

“So we lived here for a few years (just moved feb 2022) and while the place can use some upgrades (no central heat/ac type things) i really enjoyed it overall.I enjoyed being by the creek and hearing all of the birds, sometimes turkeys wandering around.Anytime I needed something fixed that I couldnt/didn't want to do myself, it was always addressed within a day.Everyone in the complex seemed really nice, we have been lucky enough to have some really awesome neighbors!I will say, full disclosure, there are a couple of people that seem to sleep nearby (homeless/on drugs)...not the fault of the apartments but something to just be aware of)”
“*First off, I was not paid to give this review!!! This is my experience and my point of view.* The Villas at Fair Oaks is one of the best, if not the best complexes I’ve lived at. The staff go above and beyond for their tenants without hesitation. The apartments are super freakin cozy, when I moved in I had brand new granite counter tops and all stainless steel appliances!! This is also the smallest complex I’ve lived in as well. People aren’t piled on top of each other like some complexes that are 4 stories and have 1000 or more apartments. That makes me cringe just thinking about it. RCMI and their employees have always done right by me. If you’re still reading this then congratulations are in order because I know I’ve sold you on moving here. So what are you waiting for? Pack up and come on over already!!! P.S. The manager Rachel is badass. She’s super sweet, very nice and never too busy to answer your question or concern. She needs a raise too!!!!”
“I love it here! I love taking walks in the neighborhood and I love that these apartments are by this beautiful park! Neighbors have been so nice and don't bother anyone. Staff has been pretty good. Especially the maintenance man Jose! He responds promptly and has been very helpful and friendly!”

I love the water features the property is always so clean . The manager and office staff are always so nice. The maintenance staff is awesome always on top of work orders and maintaining the property. I would recommend this property to anyone. Definitely five stars.”

“I want to start by saying how much I love living in the new mid-rises. The management goes over and beyond there duties especially Logan. She has had work orders completed with in the hour when I got home from a trip and my AC wasn't working. All the staff are pet lovers and my dog looks forward to walking by the leasing office because she knows she will get smothered with love.”
“I lived here for two years in a 2 bedroom and loved it! I got lucky with super low maintenance neighbors and the management was always great. This was my first home on my own and I have to say I don't think I could've had a better experience. Would highly recommend moving here. The only reason I didn't give the 5th star was because there were always homeless people in the dumpsters which wasn't something that ever became a problem but wasn't ideal obviously.”
“I love my new home! The cabinets and counter tops caught my eye the moment I stepped into my home! I have everything I need here. A stove, dishwasher, fridge, a microwave, a gym, picnic area, a pool and several washers and dryers. Everything could not have went more smoothly. OH! Did I forget to mentioned the property is always super cleaned! I LOVE LOVE what they are doing with their plants, excellent taken cared of place. Many years to come!”

“I lived in these apartments on the 2nd floor for 4 years. We had a clean and dry apartment. There was never any mold or cockroaches. If there was any damage in the apartment, I went to the office and they very quickly solved the problem and repaired what was needed. There are two nice women working in the office. Overall, my family was satisfied. The location is also very convenient, there are grocery stores nearby. By the way, the neighbors were also nice and never stole our packages, although they stood at the door all day.”
