“My favorite " thrift" store in the Santa Cruz vicinity! The merchandise is incredible, high end, displays excellent, volunteers are the best, attentive, and helpful. They sell fabric bags, potholders and napkin sets sewn by volunteers, which are great, but pricey. ( I'm sure they have " tested" these prices and feel that they are fair, but not bargains at all). The whole "project" is wonderful for the community in so many ways.”

“The BEST PRICES IN TOWN!!! They have the best selection of anything you're looking for, vintage Levi's jeans, Harley Davidson, Patagonia, Y2K fashion, and many other designers/styles of clothes. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Great selection of shoes/boots and bags. Not to mention, their employees are extremely kind and easy to talk to. This store really is a hidden gem.”

“Hands down my favorite place to shop in capitola! Bell, the owner is absolutely wonderful and is so friendly and nice. They always have a great selection of clothes for men and women, sometimes even babies! I often find myself walking around the store for an hour because there's so much to see. They have a variety of other items such as furniture, candles, soaps, leather wallets and more! I always leave the store feeling happy because I found something special!”

“Wonderful place, staff, and volunteers. A few years ago I found two dogs running on the side of Highway 17 and pulled over to try to rescue them from getting hit. I had never been to the shelter before, but google maps brought me there and the staff was wonderful and helping them get reunited with their family.”

“Went this past week and they've been doing a 50% off EVERYTHING sale on Thursdays. Quite happy with my haul. Obviously still thinking abt it to leave a review. Picked up a jacket, some leggings, and a shirt for $10.50 and spent another $14 on baby items (alphabet foam mat, Melissa and Doug puzzle, breast milk bags, shape sorter, ezpz bowl, Nike baby clothes, etc). I restrained myself saw lots of customers leaving with multiple Glad bags and I left with just one.”

“This place is a hidden gem! There is so much to look at! They have jewelry, pottery, crystals, clothes, home decor, cutlery, plants, furniture etc. Prices range here; they accept cash or card. If you've never been, be prepared to spend more than an hour browsing. Come prepared with a budget unless you're willing to spend.”

“Goodwill Central Coast, our local thrift store, isn't just a place to find affordable items; it's a haven of stories waiting to be discovered. Walking through its doors, I couldn't help but feel the anticipation of unearthing hidden treasures and uncovering the narratives behind each item. What makes Goodwill Central Coast unique is its diverse range of items, from vintage clothing and furniture to books and electronics. The thrill lies in the hunt, as you never know what gem you might stumble upon. But beyond the bargains, it's the knowledge that every purchase supports Goodwill's mission to empower individuals in our community through job training and employment services. It's a store with a heart, where shopping is not just about acquiring possessions but also about making a positive impact. In essence, Goodwill Central Coast is a place where thrift meets purpose. It's a reminder that our community's stories intertwine, and by shopping here, we become part of a larger narrative of compassion and support.”

“I went on an Sunday and they were still taking items in the back of the building. So you're ok on Sunday to drop off. The parking for drop off was well planned and worked. No line-ups of cars. I stopped in to see what they had for #ghostpainting trend and all the good pics were taken. But I did find an item sold at Bloomindales and Neiman's that was priced to resell which is what I plan on doing. There is an excellent person who stocks the display shelves at the end of the aisles and that made it fun to check out the color-related items there. The wood decoratives were the best I have seen. All of these wood items can be re-designed for resell or re-enjoyment. There is enough there to get yourself a "channel", record the crafting and help others with ideas on how to repurpose the plain wood decoratives. May decoupage of the 70's be updated and come back! Heck. I may even do that! Bring back the tole flowers only updated for our new likings. So much to do with that aisle! There was no discount going on that day. I did not check out the clothes but there are plenty of aisles and notable were the hats in the store. I could see some of them well-made brands. Keep your eye open for quality hats there. Like to say thanks and you're welcome.”

“I get great deals here, and I'm happy to support this charity. At the moment they are not accepting donations of items in order to reduce inventory. Unlike some charity thrift stores that make the people on top very wealthy, all proceeds go directly to the rehab program.”
