“This review is 5 stars primarily because of Matt, he helped me find a pair of shoes in the size I wanted after a different sales associate said it was unavailable in that size. Thanks, Matt!”

“I purchased a board at a different retailer but got all of my components from here Ignacio had me fully assembled in about 15 minutes and gave me recommendations based on my half thought out on a whim criteria. Probably the dumbest wildest purchase I’ve made in a whim in a long time and he helped me execute it. Everyone in the store was more than helpful and eager to assist but at the same time did not hover which I want to say is how I like to shop. Again thank you.”

“Went to the Lids at the Santa Anita Mall to get a custom hat made for a friend. The representative from the store, Aracely, couldn't have been more helpful. She made sure the entire process went smoothly. Only took an hour so I was able to stroll around the mall while I waited. She even called me just to make sure I wanted the font in ALL CAPS! I also wanted to give a shout out to Liz for creating the hat & making sure it was all correct. Great service! I would definitely recommend LIDS to my friends and family.”

“I went on a Sunday so the store was relatively busy (mind you, I haven’t been to this mall in years and dreaded going in on a Sunday). Castro happened to help me. Probably one of the nicest managers I’ve met. Took some time to get my returns squared away but she was so helpful and patient.”

“finally wandered into this store out of boredom. never felt compelled to do so because 1. i dont think i have even touched a skateboard in my life lol and feel that being a skater is in a realm as far as it can be from my tribe and 2. i feel like their branding and window display just don't represent my style and aesthetic. that said, the store has a wide selection of super cute clothes. it definitely has lots of well known brands like vans and other sports brand but i am the most interested in learning about other brands that i have not heard of. as a select shop that bring you a variety of off-beat, urban streetwear, they do a good jobs in merchandising. the employee was friendly and helpful and not pushy, i tried on this v-neck dropped shoulder poly tee and subtle reptile print and absolutely love it. it's not the cutting that i usually go for and it is $70 so i have to go home and do some thinking and make some planning on how to coordinate something like that. also tries on a tee with green and purple pattern knitted into it. it's also in the $70 range but the colors were amazing. i noticed a rip n dip chair tucked at a dirty corner near the fitting room. it looks worn and sad but it's rip n' dip! i feel that the store, if interested in getting more customers like myself who just enjoy the fashion and less about skateboarding gears, they should consider doing a whole rebranding. the store is way too clustered, you have to dig hard to find the items that are actually very chic. they can either go with a more urban outfitter, no-bs, dystopian approach in their store design or add in more objects of curiosity like sculptures or decor to play off on the existing maximalism but to add characters. like that chair near the dressing room will sure draw attention at the window display with some cool color stories. a raw wood fixtures, rugs, painted chandelier, flea market ironically-old-world vibe type of deal can work well instead of the outdated and boring current design that does not match the edge that their clothes carry. nice selection of clothes, relatively affordable prices, can use a bit tlc in updating and clean up the interior. will come back to grab that tee.”

“Jeremy has to be one of the coolest and funniest sales persons I've met this holiday season! He was funny, personable and it made being in a crowded store less stressful! He helped me out with a return then I came back again for an exchange but it was all good! The manager is also pretty cool too! It's a good group at Pac Sun!”
