“5/5! I went in to Arcata Muffler for an exhaust check because I thought there was something wrong with the exhaust. It turns out there was nothing wrong with my exhaust, but the service and help I got from this shop in finding that out was awesome! They were super reasonably priced for inspection (no mega inspection fees). I would definitely recommend!”

“Aaron is great and very communicative. My 2012 Chevy Sonic had so many ongoing issues and he took a lot of time with it. However when he ran into an issue he was unable to diagnose he didnt charge me for the day. Super honest dude.”

“Neely Automotive if the best shop around! They were able to get us a new engine and have us back on the road after we were being given the runaround at a different shop for 2 months!!! I only trust Neely Automotive!”

“I’ve been going to German Motors for over a decade for work on our Audi and Mercedes, and I couldn’t recommend them any higher!! They are the nicest and most helpful team of people at an auto shop I’ve ever worked with! Their communication and efficiency absolutely shine, and most importantly…I trust them 100% to only recommend what’s best for ME, and to clearly lay out all my options! Go see em, trust me!”

“Old school class! Instantly gave me a cheap quote over the phone and said it would only take 3 days to rebore a 1 cylinder motorcycle. Later I took in the cylinder and he told me that I may be able to get away with just swapping the ring out instead of machining it after he took measurements on it. The moto repair shop in Arcata tried to charge me $60 buck just for measurements and advice.”

“We really appreciated this storage center's availability of a unit when we needed it and the person who runs it is friendly and helpful. The premises are kept clean. We would definitely rent a storage unit again from Bud's.”

“This place was very helpful and worked with me in a great timeline to have my car back to me. Their price rates are on par to what is expected for the work that is needed along with the cost of the parts as well. They have an amazing staff and are all well knowledgeable in their jobs. The mechanic broke the car language down (to what someone who doesn't know what car language is) really well for me. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.”

“This is the best shop in Humboldt and I should know. I’ve been taking my 06 F150 there for years. I’ve had everything you can think of done and never had even one issue. From oil changes to belts to wheel bearings to tie rods to an engine replacement and a transmission replacement. The guys in the shop are all great and the customer service is top notch. They talk you through everything and help you understand what’s going on with your vehicle. They also are big parts of our community, from little league baseball to BMX. They will always treat you fair and you can trust the work. I won’t take my truck anywhere else.”

“Dennis was a very helpful mechanic. Very knowledgeable. Expect to pay a premium. Before getting smog done I recommend finding somewhere that can test the codes for you first.”

“We are traveling through Northern California on an extended trip. Our Jeep warning light came on saying we had potential major engine problems. We found Simply Performance based on previous reviews. They were open and close to us. They were able to fix the Jeep immediately, saving us the cost of renting a car. The quickly determined the problem. Explained what was wrong and fixed it. Extremely professional. Quick service. All in all what could have been a bad situation turneed out good.”
