“Old school class! Instantly gave me a cheap quote over the phone and said it would only take 3 days to rebore a 1 cylinder motorcycle. Later I took in the cylinder and he told me that I may be able to get away with just swapping the ring out instead of machining it after he took measurements on it. The moto repair shop in Arcata tried to charge me $60 buck just for measurements and advice.”

“Can't say enough good things about this Cummins service shop location. Gary and Connor are true professionals and provide a wealth of knowledge on how to diagnose and repair these Cummins engines. We have a 425 ISL in our '08 Country Coach motorhome, and the prior two service shops missed a failing EGR Cooler. What resulted in a tow, to the Arcata Cummins shop, with peak frustrations in our poorly functioning engine, we figured it was going to be another band-aid repair job. Lucky for us, Connor was there to save the day and provide such wonderful service and repair. He answered every question we had over the course of two days, and was a pleasure to interact with. Grateful for their service!”

“I have been taking my car to Simply Performance since about 2017 when German Auto in Arcata was full and suggested them. I had just come off a traumatic experience with a mobile mechanic who had ruined my car by draining out the oil and forgetting to replace it so I threw a rod! I bought a different car and Simply Performance has taken very good care of it. I have had different mechanics there work on it-- mostly regular oil changes (it's a 2010 Mazda with over 200k mi on it). I always wait in the office during the oil change and staff is polite and funny and they often have a wonderful Goldendoodle named Lucy to entertain me. The prices are reasonable and I trust them completely.”

“Pretty reasonable and seems like they are very versatile on what they can do. I haven't gone to them for anything major but had to get my suspension looked at and had to pay for one hour. They checked out my suspension and they said they had extra time so they replaced my Windshield wipers fluid hose fitting, checked my fluids and inspected my lights.”
