The owner is incredibly kind and even stayed a few minutes after closing to make sure my car was able to be seen on a Saturday afternoon. He took extra caution to make sure my Honda was parked inside following the influx of catalytic converter theft in the area. He quoted me a price 1/3 of what Honda planned to charge me- parts included! He was conservative with his diagnosis of the my vehicle. I'm happy to have a mechanic in the area I can trust with fair prices and good work!”

“I needed one tire replaced after puncturing the sidewall of one tire. Vince was able to get the tire at a better price than any online source. He was also able to balance all of of me wheels and rotate with the total price was great.I arrived as scheduled and the work was completed very quickly.Most importantly Vince was able to effectively communicate better than any other shop I contacted via Yelp. “About a month go, my tire light came on and didn't feel comfortable driving all the way home from work so I stopped by here to have it checked. turns out, near the valve of the tire was damaged. So had them replace it. 15 mins later and $35 I was on my way. I noticed they did other services besides tires and made mental note.So, now it's been a minute (ok, about a year) since I had my old changed. Light never came on, but then my commute is 8 minutes and not 25 miles which could sometimes take me an 1.5 when I lived down south. I also had a great mechanic in LB so was hesitant and I sure as hell wasn't going to pay dealership service charges and then tell me I needed something "extra". Got off work early and called to see if they had availability for that day. Yes they did. 5 mins later, I was here (conveniently located near my job) no frills, no upcharge and 30 min later, and 79.00 voila, synthetic oil change and good to go for another 6 months. Friendly, better bureau registered and registered with State of CA. Legit service. Cash or Debit card only. Says it on the wall, I'm saying it in the review so no excuse to say ya didnt know.”

“So it’s been exactly 1 week since I got my car back from the shop ?I had an electrical issue. (Wires)When I would press the start button to turn off my car, the engine wouldn’t shut off right away. It would take a few minutes. It would shake until it would force itself off… then my headlight would turn itself ON. (Yes, the lights were OFF) So b/c there was no other way for me to turn off, a button that was already off.. it would kill my battery… which would make me jump my car every other day when it wouldn’t turn off properly.Anyway… I had already made an appointment at a Ford dealership in San Leandro for an oil change.. then I included the issue above. I had my car there for a lil over a week, I spoke with him the weekend after drop off (monday), and the day of pick up (the next Monday). I couldn’t get a hold of him throughout the time my car was getting looked at.I called & spoke w/a few other ppl then I eventually spoke w/manager who told me he would get the guy assigned to me to reach out, which he never did. When I picked up the car, they said they couldn’t find anything.A day after, the car started doing the same thing, I dropped my car off after hours (b/c of work)Spoke to someone new, asked for someone different for the lack of communication, the new guy didn’t like that so much, so I took my car to the Ford dealership in Fremont,They ran another diagnostic (2), they too said they could not find anything, but that my oil was over filled & that I needed another one (drain out and put new), something about a lid under the hood needed fixing which would cost $1800, and I have bad tires in the front. They too had issues with communication, but it was kinda better then San Leandro..+ it was there a lil over a week b/c I had to wait 3 days for someone to run a diagnostic ?I honestly felt discouraged, and I didn’t know who to trust.Then I went ahead and took it to Managal Motors, because I remember having a good experience with my rotors getting replaced a few years ago.I called in, I dropped my car off the day of. I was told that they were going to run another diagnostic (3) and that it would take some time to find out the issue of the car. They called for questions about it before working on it, plus called in again to let me know what they were doing, and what he thought the issue might be, and then I got a text of a receipt & a call it was ready. I dropped it off before their shopped closed on a Tuesday, and got the car back on Monday (they had it fixed less then a week!)I haven’t had any issues with the engine turning off, or no spooky lights turning on by itself since ☺️☺️☺️☺️ & I was also told about my bad ties in front. (Which I did know about, I had my back tires changed, and I was working towards the front… anyway) I felt like they actually took the time out to find out what was wrong w/ my car, & kept in communication, and my car wasn’t even with them for a whole week.I’m not sorry for the long review, I’ve been really frustrated with the lost of money,time and lack of communication and trust. I’m so thankful that my car is back up n running.? THANK YOU MANGALE MOTORS!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Ps. I had some burnt wires (from a car accident) that needed to be replaced, and the total cost was $537.69Which includes a diagnostic, parts, & labor.”

“Found this place here on Yelp while I was waiting for my car to get serviced at Honda since it's down the street.I called and was able to speak to someone right away and was told that we didn't need an appt and to just come by.As soon as I got there I was greeted right away and was presented with a short paper work to fill out. I told the worker that I found their shop thru Yelp and he told me to check in for a discount. It came out to $50 total for the smog check. He started working on my car right away and it was done in about 10 mins! I was in and out of that place in like 15 mins. He gave me 2 referral discount coupons on the way out and I ended up giving to my brother who stopped by the following week.Thank you! You guys are great!”

“Very nice guy. My car had something else wrong with it, he worked on my car for an hour before giving up. Told me what was wrong and recommended a shop that could fix the problem. Didn't change me for the aligning since it couldn't be done. I still wanted to pay him for his work so he wrote it up as an inspection, only $30.When I get it fixed I'll definitely buy back for the alignment.”

“The MECHANIC SHOP is solid! They’ll get you in and out faster than any place I’ve been without ever sacrificing quality work or kindness checking you in, no matter how busy they are! Half the time I’ve gone they are super busy and it’s never dead or even slow so I really don’t know how they do it.Found them in the comments on a Reddit post, looking for a reasonably priced mechanic that knows how to work on a Subaru because I didn’t want to pay dealership prices for an older (but immaculate & reliable) car that I might need to trade soon, due to a lifestyle change. The dealer wanted to charge me $250 to do an oil change and diagnose the problem, saying the diagnostic without the oil change is $300. I got an even higher quote from a Subaru specialist mechanic. Ugh.They diagnosed it for free and fixed the problem (a fan belt I think) the same day for less than the quote. So happy I was able to just check the google reviews before I went to confirm this is the spot. It takes less than 20 minutes to get there and I drove 45 minutes no traffic plus bridge the last time I found a good mechanic but he was the sweetest older man and retired, which is the saddest day for me, a few years ago! I really miss him so I’m super grateful to find these guys.PS They will tell you directly if they can’t do something:They don’t do electrical work (at least on Subaru) or diesel but will recommend someone”
