“I came in this morning after my car had sat in airport parking for a week and required a jump start. I thought maybe I had a bad starter (thought I heard a clicking solenoid). Devin identified a loose battery cable, quickly fixed it, and sent me on my way without charging me anything. Small gestures like these go a long way in terms of earning my business. “I came here after being frustrated with another mechanic. Vic gave me his word that he would check everything, (which the previous mechanic supposedly did) and then give me an estimate. Belt was replaced and a water pump was replaced as well. He was able to do something that I have been dealing with for the past two months. Unlike the previous mechanic I went too, Vic remembered me bringing in my car over six years ago!
I have driven my car and the squealing is gone gone. For some reason, the car even feels like it drives better too.
Thank you Vic's for being fair, honest, a great mechanic. 10/10 I will be doing business here once again.
It's now day 2 after Vic fixed my squeaking problem and still no sound. Car runs smooth. Way waaaay better than the other mechanic that charged me twice and lied to my face. Definitely coming back here for all my vehicle needs. Vic is a man of great moral character and honesty.
Nov 20, 2025 update.
My car started acting up again. Same issue. I called Vic up and told him about it. I brought it in asap and took a look at it and fixed it. The belt, brand name, original manufacturer btw somehow got stretched out a bit. He was able to replace it and repair it free of charge.
Mind you it has been about a couple of months now and he treated me like a valued customer. Definitely, MOST DEFINITELY going to this place again for all my auto repair needs.”

“Look here folks I’m from Alabama been working closely to here for couple months now. Had 4 bad tires so I popped in on them 30 minutes before quitting time and with no questions he slapped 4 new tires on my car and I was driving off in less than 30 minutes. Now let me tell you how nice these people are. I tried to tip him $50 dollars but he would only take $20. The work was outstanding and if you don’t get your tires rims oil changed or front end alignment from them your missing out. You see here’s the deal Walmart don’t have 💩on this shop. Matter fact I’m going back tomorrow to get my front end aligned. Try them out and if you’re not satisfied I’ll pay for what they did! But you better have some really good proof because I’ve seen what there capable of. And you can take that to the bank!”
“Jason is my hero after today! I tried a DIY replacement of my taillight, which looked easy in the YouTube videos. Turned out they left out a whole bunch of steps, and AI tried to rescue me, but I quickly found I was in over my head. I called my local shop I've never been to before, Champion Automotive, and Jason answered the phone, let me come over right away and he finished the job on the spot while I watched.
Jason was friendly and made the whole thing easy. I am so so grateful to him, because if I'd had to make an appointment at a shop, I would have either had to put my car back together, undoing all my work, not drive my car or drive around with no lights on the left rear side. He charged me for a half hour of labor (I had the part--though he threw in one bulb that had burned out) and I had the rest of the day to relax!”

“I needed a smog and it previously failed elsewhere in Alameda. The guy charged me even though it failed, which I guess I understood. I was told to drive my car a couple more miles then come back, which he would have to charge me again. I decided not to come back and found KS automotive on Yelp. I did my smog test again, yet it failed. This guy told me the same thing which is to drive my car more than come back. I expected to pay but he didn't charge me!! He said he will charge when I come back. So I definitely came back after and passed my smog! Great customer service. I also got my oil change there too. Service is quick, workers are thorough and explained everything.”
