“After getting a flat tire the night before, I searched online for a nearby tire shop. Castro Valley Tire Pros immediately stood out because it had a 4.9-star rating from more than 2,000 reviews. I felt compelled to give the shop a try—and now I understand why it is so highly rated.

Francisco examined the tire and showed me the nail and crack that made it impossible to repair. When I told him I simply needed something durable, he did not try to upsell me. He inspected my other three tires, said they were still fairly new and in good condition, and assured me that I only needed to replace one. He even suggested checking with my previous tire shop to see whether the damaged tire was still under warranty. His honesty truly stood out to me.

The total was only $159.78, including the tire, computerized wheel balancing, disposal fee, labor, and sales tax. Francisco also noticed that I was missing a hubcap. He suggested buying an affordable set of four from the nearby O’Reilly Auto Parts and offered to install them for free.

“I was driving home from work when my serpentine belt popped off on my car, I had just got off the freeway and my car was starting to overheat, I had just enough time to roll into this guys shop and cut my car off. “Larry’s Automotive is a an exemplary automotive service repair shop. Their honesty and integrity are noteworthy.

Our 2025 Subaru had a reminder to get the oil and filter changed even though we were 3,000 miles short of meeting the milage requirement. Subaru recommends getting the service done every 6 months or 6,000 miles which ever comes first.

After dropping our car off at Larry’s, he called and said the car did not need service. He advised getting serviced when the mileage was closer to Subaru’s milage requirement.

“Sona and team always take care of you! We have been coming to Sona since his previous location, because the work that he does is amazing work. Made my 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham start running again after an attempted theft that resulted in a ton of damage to locks, steering column and the list goes on. “I really like them But if you’re getting your warranty there, 1 use your name on the warranty or I could delay you getting your car too. If that’s your only car definitely get a rental I end up having to pay about $75-$80 to get back-and-forth there twice plus pay 600 and something dollars for Other things so for a single mom that was really a dipper for me. You should call your warranty and make sure that everything is moving accordingly if you were a person that definitely need your car quick work with them. Do not just suspect for them to do everything or it would take a lot of time cause that $80 I could’ve really used for me and my children, but they do work fast and I really like that. I really feel that they are not a company that tries to extort money out of you and I will recommend this company for a lot of people to go to but as soon as you get your warranty, FYI, just get you a rental if it comes with your warranty and make sure if something is denied in your warranty that is not because it needs to be done by the manufacturer and that’s where we kind of. Had a difference in communication when I talked to the warranty people that two of my things that needed to be fixed that was not covered was only denied because it needed to be fixed by the manufacturer and if I did not talk to my warranty company, I would’ve never knew and thought I would’ve had to pay out-of-pocket so you need to communicate with your warranty company as well as communicating with them so you have a full understanding if something is not covered. But this is a great place and everything was fixed within 3 to 4 days. I believe they’re very quick very decent people and very kind and very Family Friend friendly.”

I recently picked up a screw in my tire, and thought I would go back since they treated me so well the last time.
