Growing up in Bakersfield, the Fox Theater was just part of a perfect weekend afternoon. It didn’t cost much to get in, but to me, it felt like something special every time. Back then, having air conditioning was a big deal, and the Fox was one of the few places where you could escape the heat and just enjoy the moment.
