Spark by Hilton Bakersfield Central is a very nice, clean, and affordable hotel. Many guests found their rooms to be immaculate, super clean, and everything inside is what you would expect from Hilton. The beds are often noted as comfortable and soft. The staff are kind and do an excellent job. The complimentary breakfast is basic but covers the essentials like bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, and pastries. Complimentary coffee and tea are available throughout the day. The hotel is located right next to the highway. Some guests reported minor issues to be aware of. These can include flickering lights, noise from upstairs, an area carpet needing updating, and a parking lot that can be tricky for larger vehicles. The immediate neighborhood can feel uneven, with occasional reports of loitering, though security is present at night. Overall, most guests had a decent experience and would stay again, recommending it for a night or two.
