Michelle helping me with any questions I had and she went beyond to help me. Manager is very friendly and great. Very fast check in. The rooms are very clean. Housekeeping is on top of it. “I booked this in last minute while traveling and when I saw it from outside, I had a low expectation. However, the room was nice, clean, and spacious. The breakfast was also decent.”

“This hotel was very welcome as the hot temperatures outside made it impossible for my RV AC to cool completely.
The room was very clean with the coziest bed! No bathtub, but nice hot showers.
The breakfast bar had both hot and cold items with a very good selection. Cereal, juice, yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, cook it yourself waffles were just a few of the choices.
The parking lot was large enough to find a spot for my 28' RV. I did have to go back out after registration to put a paper tag on the RV dash but parking was free here.”

“Very clean. Staff was amazing. We were amazed that staff did so many things with only 2 staff members (Front desk clerks, bar tend, cook bar food, performed maintenance on broken rooms). Really, we saw it all while spending the evening in the very clean bar. Extremely friendly and they make you feel welcome. For being an animal friendly hotel, it does not stink. We will absolutely be back anytime we're in Bakersfield. Those ladies need a raise!!!! They're awesome!!!”

“I typically stay at the Courtyard when I travel through Bakersfield. It's always been a positive experience, service personnel are great and friendly, check in without hassle. The rooms are nice, typical of other Courtyard hotels. Decent water pressure in the shower and towels are fairly soft. My stay was nice and quiet.”
“We had a wonderful experience at the Residence Inn Bakersfield on Chester Lane, and I especially want to recognize Gladys at the front desk.
From the moment we arrived, Gladys was warm, welcoming, conscientious, and extremely professional. She listened carefully to our questions and concerns and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. She handled everything like a true professional and immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome.
Later in the evening, I went back downstairs looking for some cookies. There weren’t any available for purchase, but Gladys surprised me by finding some from behind the desk and giving them to us. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot and showed the kind of thoughtfulness and hospitality she brings to her job.
She even called our room later to make sure everything was going well and to see if there was anything else we needed. That kind of follow-up is something you don’t always experience, and we really appreciated it.
Everyone we encountered at this Residence Inn had a positive attitude and contributed to a very pleasant stay, but Gladys truly stood out because she checked us in and continued looking after us throughout our stay.
Please recognize Gladys for the outstanding job she is doing. She is a wonderful representative of Residence Inn and Marriott hospitality. We greatly appreciated her kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for her guests.

“This was an ideal location for our roads trip. The property was very clean and well maintained. The parking lot was huge which made it convenient for us to park our large trailer. The rooms were clean and spacious. I am curious why non orlf the balconies and patios had any furniture? Otherwise, the pool was great and a much needed relief for my kids on this long road trip.”

“The gentleman working the PM shift was kind and made the check-in experience smooth and welcoming. He was friendly even though I was a late check in, which I really appreciated after a long drive.
