“Wonderful hotel! I needed a hotel last minute. I called on a Saturday night to make my reservation as I was driving. Jay was very friendly and assured me a room would be waiting for me and my family when we arrived very early in the morning. Check in was a breeze and a room was held for us. The beds were very comfortable and everything in the room worked. The flowers and landscaping are gorgeous! A creek also runs through the property. I was made fully aware that free breakfast was not included. However, they do have an amazing coffee machine! Everything was very clean. Nancy made checkout a breeze and was very helpful with recommending a delicious, kid friendly breakfast near by that was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area.”

“I typically stay at the Courtyard when I travel through Bakersfield. It's always been a positive experience, service personnel are great and friendly, check in without hassle. The rooms are nice, typical of other Courtyard hotels. Decent water pressure in the shower and towels are fairly soft. My stay was nice and quiet.”

“Great place! Total blast from the past with a 70’s vibe. Everything has a very old school feel to it. Unlike most hotels, the rooms have a slider door with a balcony. Pool is large, hot tub is hot… palm trees surround the pool side court yard. Some highway noise on the highway 99 side rooms- which doesn’t bother me. Rodrigo at the front desk is awesome- Very kind and accommodating. Please keep the current feel of this hotel and don’t change a thing!”

“I stayed here the night of 1/17/26 but almost didn't take the chance. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I took a chance since a lot of the bad reviews seemed hyperbolic and almost comical - gotta say, I'm SO glad I did!
The price advertised online was 118 and ended up costing us like 147 somehow, but the room was super clean, the guy at the front desk was nice and didn't charge for our pet after I asked about the price discrepancy so it worked out. Breakfast was just okay, didn't leave us wanting, but also didn't really impress. It kinda sucked to get a moving truck into the parking lot and had no dedicated parking for something larger than an SUV. Had to cross 2 lanes of traffic and pull through a gas station parking lot to get situated and the window of our room looked right at a Chinese restaurant but those are small issues, just something to be aware of.
I'd stay again if I ever found myself tired in Bakersfield”

“This location was definitely by far the best hotel I've ever stayed the staff were all very friendly and courteous also the manger is awesome my whole stay was amazing yes they only have muffins and coffee so to everyone complaining about that should of chose a room with breakfast so now that that is said I was sad to depart from this location but my chapter 2 in life has begun thank you all for making me feel welcome from day one wonderfull experience overall would stay again if im in the area yours truly snake eyes lol I wish I knew everyone's name but it doesn't matter because from the maintaince man all the way up they are all wonderfull people thanks again”

I was concerned with the lower reviews and low cost, but pleasantly surprised by this hotel.
I stayed here because I wanted to use my Choice points and they had by far the best value. I was not expecting much, but all the essentials were very good. Everything was clean, good bed. Fast internet. Staff were friendly. Basic breakfast, furniture, and fixtures, but I wasn't expecting more.”

Love them all... they have really really nice rooms on the 2nd floor.. they only use those for out of towners workers an normal quite folks....it's so clean an quite u don't even feel like ur at the same hotel...3rd floors for the local Riff raff. 1st is for locals..
