The Kern County Fair is a fun local event with lots of food and things to do for the family. Many find it an affordable and enjoyable place not to miss, offering good music, food, and entertainment like tarot card readings. The facilities are clean and comfortable. However, it can get very crowded, especially on weekends, leading to horrific entry lines and snappy staff. Some note that food and beer are too expensive. While the ticket price is reasonable, management is advised to create faster entry options. The animal area sometimes closes early. It is recommended to visit on a weekday and to bring sunscreen and hand sanitizer.
My wife and I went to the home show at the Kern County Fairgrounds. It was a very nice event...keep in mind the vendors are attempting to solicit you to purchase their respective products! All good,a beautiful day and folks seemed to enjoy it!

Home and garden show, I would have liked to see a few more chooses in vendors offering home improvement and remodeling options.
