“Nice clean meat market. Not a lot of meat selection but what they have is good quality meat. The pre marinated meat spicy ranchera was delicious in fajitas. I had the marinated chicken years ago and it was also really good.”

“10 stars. I hadn't seen my little brother in nearly a decade and it was kind of a last minute decision to BBQ tri-tip. They had it already marinaded and perfectly ready to go for $10 less than the last tri-tip I'd gotten and I cooked it absolutely perfectly, gf cut it perfectly and it was absolutely the best thing I could've had to serve for my brother's visit. The folks working there feel like old friends the store itself is clean and smells good. I'll be sticking with this spot as long as I can. A big thxU to the guys and girl that assisted me in my purchase. I'll be back”

“Smart & Final on Mt. Vernon is the only place I get groceries. There is always plenty of parking, the prices are usually lowest, and the staff is the best. In particular, Jolanda, Christopher and Josh are helpful, friendly, and quick on the register. During off-peak hours, the lines are short, and they will usually open a new one if they need to. A special note about the security guard: One day my dog forced his way through the car window and ran into the store after me. The guard stopped him and, rather than lecturing me, he offered to hold onto the dog until I was finished. The people who work there make the place what it is. Even the shoppers there tend to be chill.”

“There was a very long line at the taqueria today, but the cashier, Sandra was wonderful. She helped me with my menudo order and took the time to help me find the specific chili oil (chile de aceite) I was looking for. Even though she was busy, she stayed kind and kept a smile on her face the whole time. Great service!”
“I have been coming here for several years now and I love it!!! I usually always buy meat to make my barbecue and it is delicious, they make very good cuts and they prepare it at the time you order it, for example: the shoulder, the ranchera ribs, the saw-cut chicken, the ranchera, they take their time preparing it ( and yes, it is macciado) but they season it one by one and on both sides, which other stores don't do. The only thing I don't like is that it takes a long time, but now before I go, I call the store to place my order, they tell me How long will it take for it to be ready so I just arrive, pay and leave because my grill is waiting for it and my family enjoys it very much, thank you. Oh just don't go an hour before they cut because they won't make your cuts since they have to leave their machines washed for the next day.I'm far from my house but I always go, I recommend this store!!!”

“I just came here today on my own my dad usually comes and gets boneless chicken legs to cook at home the chicken has always been fresh and is very very good cooked! This was my first time going myself and I saw cooked ribs and I told him let me get the whole rack if it’s not too expensive or half if it is expensive and the 6 pounds of chicken was suppose to total out to 18$ before tax and he gave me the whole rack of ribs and chicken for 20$ before tax amazing business amazing people when it’s family run!”

“My inlaws live in Bakersfield and wanted to try Triple A meat sales. On a Saturday morning we arrived at 7 am sharp. Everyone was already working hard and were amazing at helping us. We were looking for meat to make Birria and let me tell you it does come in a big pack of 22 pounds and we had to cut it but the quality of the meat was really good. Minimal fat which is good because when you buy 50lbs of meat at carnicerias it comes with 10lbs of fat that gets thrown away. I highlt reccomend to buy you bulk meat here.”
“This is a family bussines, I started buying my food needs here 3 months ago and for my experience i found the right warehouse they keep all your needs for your restaurants, last month I met the owner's they are such humble people couldn't ask for anything better on this warehouse food store, they keep almost everything in stock, I just started my own business and they been nothing but help to me, thanks b & l !!!!??”
“1 pound of carnitas cooked to perfection, fresh tortillas, fresh salsa, chopped onions and cilantro for $20 out the door.... I'm there at least once a week. Wide selection of meats, groceries, for the house. Indoor seating for family meals. One of the best little Mexican markets in Bakersfield.”
“I have been to a lot of places and try out the menudos. But la carnicería hermanos have the best and cleanest menudo I ever had. Their ceviche is one of my favorite as well. Best placed in town.”
“Great variety of food selections to choose just like other grocery stores around. Super like that they have a Wells Fargo bank inside makes it more convenient for customer who have that bank. Shop for groceries and bank can't go wrong with that.”
