“Wound up with new problems than what I brought it in with. Bringing my vehicle back in for a third time tomorrow. Got charged double the estimate. Ac stopped working tech yanked a wire then said my wires are too thin. Broke my coolant resivor.
Update: tech fixed problems, asked for a discount for the trouble it has caused including extra parts out of my pocket for repairs. I won't change my review unless it all gets fixed.”
“My car broke down just before Barstow and got stuck in limp mode due to low oil. I added oil but the car was still stuck in limp mode. After trying 3 other repair shops in this town I was finally recommend here. My vehicle was looked at immediately and they were already familiar with the problem my vehicle had. He took the time to explain its a common issue and that it should be taken to the dealer for warranty once I make it back home. He cleared the code and I was able to make it back home without issue. It was quick and easy process and he only asked we give him some money for lunch. If you get stuck here with car troubles make this your first stop!”
“So my car broke down right here at The TC automotive center. Boy was I lucky these guys are angels sent from God I’m telling you. They got my part. Got my car fixed and I’m back on the road and under two hours. I would recommend them to anyone. Very honest and polite people as well.”

“Went in because I had hit a speedbump going too fast... and had a wobble in my steering wheel. Had already tried another shop in town with no help so didn't go in here too hopeful. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite and I think he could tell I was a little flustered. He was very quick to have it looked at and determined I had a bad tire. Was in the process of that replacement when the tech noticed another tire was also damaged so they communicated right away and expressed their apologies it wasn't caught initially and that the cost was going to be double. Which can be a big shock. They handled the situation with compassion and I truly felt like they cared about the safety of myself and vehicle. My wheel wobble is all gone and I'm back on the road. I can't thank them enough, not just for fixing the thing but for the way they provided the service.”

“I was traveling from the Portland OR area down to Joshua Tree, CA.
Ran into some truck problems and got stuck over the weekend in a small town, where I thought my truck problems had been remedied, ends up to not be true.
Made it to Barstow where I found out I still had a fuel leak.
Made it over to Hi Desert, where l was able to talk to the owner and ask a few questions.
He was SWAMPED BUSY! Came out and spent 20 min screwing with my truck.
Unfortunately he couldn’t fix my problem then, but he was super forthcoming with the advice I needed to fix it myself. He wouldn’t even take the cash I offered for his time..
I got it fixed (not easy)
Went back the next day, he double checked my work, cleared some codes, and let me get on with my trip.

“I can't even explain how happy I was for the man who was there today to help me. I went to another tire shop first and the other shop refused service on account of there was only one employee there, I went to Mota's and he was busy answering phone calls talking to guests that drove up & taking care of my car effortlessly without breaking a sweat & when it was all said and done. The man gave me my money back. Because he didn't have to do a patch but he did take my tire off and help ease my nerves so I tipped him for his troubles best service I've had in a long time. Very nice people as well.”

“We were on a road trip when our car broke down and had to be towed on Sunday evening. By Monday just before 2 PM, everything was already fully repaired—we truly couldn’t believe how fast and efficient the service was.
We are incredibly grateful to Bobby, Isaiah, and Chris for their outstanding work. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process.
While we waited, they made sure we were comfortable—the kids were even able to pick a movie to watch, which made a stressful situation so much easier for our family.

“My car broke down on Easter Sunday in Barstow on the way home from a weekend getaway and they were one of few shops that were open and could get my car towed to. They looked it over and was able to fix it the next morning due to unavailability of part (not their fault it was a Sunday and a holiday). They were nice and fair. I would definitely use them again”
“They did the work on my 2011 mazda, they buffed out the drivers headlight to match the replaced passenger side light. They matched the paint so well that I cant tell where the work was done! They did an alignment on the front end and its so much better! My insurance picked up the bill except for my deductible so im not sure of the cost. I'll add pictures in the morning so Check back”
“Elite Auto and Fleet diagnosed my 2022 GMC Sierra Denali 3500 HD due to a DEF issue coming from San Antonio. Steve took our truck right away and began diagnostic that lead possibly to a bad DEF module. Steve was honest to say that a good possibly that the warranty from the GMC dealership should cover this issue. This would've saved me a lot of money if this is the case, you don't see this type of honesty at most repair shops. I can honestly say I found a new diesel mechanic shop in Barstow. I will have my truck serviced or repaired at Elite Auto and Fleet from here on out, knowing that I live in Bakersfield my new mechanic is two hours away and well worth the great honesty!!!

“Words can't express how impressive the owner of Casey auto repair shop is......I was driving from LA to Vegas in my Mercedes & my serpentine belt broke in Barstow. I expected to be way overpriced for repairs since I was in the middle of the desert. Casey's shop was recommended to me by a Barstow resident, who said she is honest & fair w her pricing.
They were 100% correct!!!! Casey recommended I use an honest tow company.
She diagnosed my car, ordered the parts & had her excellent mechanics repair it in under 2 hours. The cost was only $340 which is comparable to big city charges! Ur car's in good hands at her shop!???
