“Our daughter is about to finish her first school year at CoG preschool class. She has blossomed, learned, and grown so much in the past year under the guidance of the wonderful teachers and the thoughtfully-designed curriculum.

The program teaches and motivates young children to have a scientific mind (through science experiments), be creative (through craft, weekly capoeira class, large play space), and be socially aware (learning about historical figures). Instead of working on generic worksheet or coloring paper, the kids at my daughter's 2-3's classroom have made baking soda rockets from scratch, gone on fieldtrips to see how bus stop/ bus works, learned about how voting works. Our family could not sing enough praises about CoG. Oh, and the school provides breakfast, healthy lunch, and snacks!”

“We have had such a wonderful experience at Learn and Play Pleasant Hill. Our daughter is so well cared for, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and attention she receives every day.

Miss Maria and Miss Gita are amazing. They take such incredible care of her, and Miss Maria in particular has been so loving and patient during drop off, which can be one of the hardest parts of preschool. She gives our daughter the comfort and affection she needs to start her day feeling safe and loved.

We also had a great experience with Miss Marisol and Miss Daniella when our daughter was younger. It says a lot about the school that so many of the teachers lead with warmth, kindness, and genuine care.

Learn and Play may not be the newest preschool, but what matters most is the people caring for your child. The teachers here truly lead with love, and we are so thankful our daughter is part of this school.”

“Our family feels very lucky and thankful to have been able to send our kids to Crawlers 2 Scholars (C2S) for the past 14 months. When we were moving to this area from out of state, we had done extensive research on many daycares in this area. C2S was by far the best in terms of review and safety (parents, always look at CCLD reports for citations). They also really bent over backwards to help accommodate our two kids when we moved to California.

The director, Ms. Katy, really makes a huge difference in care- she clearly loves kids and makes certain they are cared for well.
The teachers are also wonderful. With my infant, I could tell the teachers gave him lots of attention and love. With my toddler, she loved talking about her teachers every day after school (Ms. Fabiola, Marziyah, Ms. Nahid). Though we had to transition to another school due to location a few months ago, my daughter still talks about her teachers at C2S. She has also formed wonderful friendships while at C2S.

Other details that show their dedication:
- If there is a sickness going around, I have heard that Ms. Katy and other teachers have stayed very late into the night to clean the entire carpet, toys, and all areas an extra time that same evening.
- They also host many events throughout the year for kids and families.
- My little one needed special attention after a procedure he had, and they helped make sure he wore his brace correctly etc throughout the day.

With both children, they told me when the kids were ready to potty train, and they were right. The teachers made what is normally stressful process so easy. “We have a child at each setting (Treat and Oak) in the baby room and preschool then after school. Therefore, we have seen all different age spectrums and teachers / approaches. Our experience has been positive and the kids seem delighted each time we collect them. There is a good mix of learning, play, physical activities (yoga and soccer for example) and social development and the classroom / outside facilities are great. The teachers seem to genuinely love and care for the kids and there’s plenty of opportunities for parental engagement throughout the year. The settings are well placed near other amenities and local schools for after care. SK provides an after school transport service, which helped no end with the logistics during our transition to TK. “A wonderful, caring environment for young children. My daughter has been attending Step-by-Step since she was 18 months old. Thanks to the incredible, attentive teachers she transitioned very smoothly. She's really blossomed and has had very rapid, noticeable development of language, social skills and independent self care. Ms. Marzi, Ms. Jaleh and Ms. Vanessa are wonderful! They're communicative and post lots of updates on the children's work and curriculum. I also appreciate that this is true Montessori school following a Montessori curriculum. Highly recommended!”

I drive for Keolis transportation, pick up at home, take to program and home again. The staff is the greatest. Keolis is looking for drivers. “Ashley is absolutely amazing and one of the main reasons I chose KinderCare for my children. While I rarely have concerns, one of my children was experiencing severe dietary issues, and Ashley went above and beyond to help our family during a very challenging time.

She took my son’s food restrictions seriously, made sure he never received anything outside of his approved diet, and worked closely with me while we were still trying to identify the cause of his symptoms. Because of her support and attention to detail, I was able to continue working instead of having to keep him home.

“We have had our preschooler at La Petite since she was 6 months old. She has enjoyed each classroom and every teacher she has had the pleasure to learn from. Miss Aiyana and Miss Lavina are the best you could ask for. They care about our daughter like she was their own. Our twin toddlers are new to daycare, but are thriving in this environment. Both of their language and social skills have really developed since being in the classroom setting. Miss Maria is amazing with the kids and her love for the job really shows in the videos and pictures. Both toddlers need some extra resources that the staff at La Petite help facilitate. The director Suzanne has done a great job coming up with events for the families to participate in (Pre-K grad, Mother's Day tea, Father's Day BBQ, family game night). She has been really easy to communicate with and helped our family with any and every need we had. We can't say how much that has helped our day-to-day life. It truly is special, when you can feel comfortable leaving your kiddos with a center that makes them happy and keeps them healthy and safe. Thank you La Petite!”

“My daughter has been attending CVPCC since she was almost 3 years old. We were unexpectedly forced to switch schools when her previous preschool had to close down, and in a panic, I simply followed many of the other families to CVPCC. Looking back now, it was one of the best decisions we could have made.
From the very beginning, the environment at CVPCC has been loving, welcoming, and so much fun for the little ones. The children are always smiling, happy, and genuinely excited to be there. My daughter never wants to leave at the end of the day because she is always having the best time.
The true gem of this preschool is the staff. Every teacher and staff member has been incredibly kind, patient, and understanding — especially during those moments when life happens. While my daughter definitely has a few favorite teachers, she truly loves them all immensely. They care for and love on my daughter as if she were their own, and that reassurance as a parent is absolutely priceless.
I also deeply appreciate the school’s transparency and communication. The ongoing updates and notifications regarding activities, illnesses, and other events always kept me informed and allowed me to make the best decisions for my child.
As we prepare to move on to primary school with all of my children, I am so sad to say goodbye to this chapter of our lives. My only regret is not finding this school sooner for my older kids.

“We have been at Pixie for a few years and LOVE it. The kids feel so special there and like it's a family. The play-based education is exactly what I was looking for as someone who has had a career in early childhood education. The kids have been so excited about all the themes and I've seen their language and knowledge just explode since enrolling. I love being able to BE in the classroom once a week working there with them...that's not going to fly when they get older LOL. The other requirements of parents (since it's a co-op) are really easy and spread out all year.”

“Such a great Preschool for kids! My grandson 3 1/2 and he is always excited to go to school every day! When he prays at home, he always prays for his teachers and friends from the preschool. He loves them. The teachers are so kind, loving and care about the children. The kids feel the love and nurturing. The communication between teachers and parents (grandparents, etc) is exceptional.
