“It's a very good post office, if there weren't so many people it's a 5 star post office. Nice, knowledgeable staff who always get my mail out where it needs when it needs to be out. Diligent about clearing out the drop boxes regularly, and good at giving tips.
But it's just so busy! You'd spend longer driving to any other post office than waiting in the line, sure, but it's a hassle if you need to stand in line.”

I’ve never experienced a long line and the clerk is always super friendly and personable. They also scan packages unlike some other USPS locations for accurate and faster tracking.”

I had about 150 wedding invites to send and really wanted them hand canceled to preserve the look of the envelope when it reaches our guests, and he was more than happy to hand cancel them for me. “I had a great experience at the United States Postal Service location at 5762 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA 90630. The facility is clean, spacious, and very well organized. When I visited, it wasn’t busy at all, which made the whole process quick and smooth.

“Went in for passports for me and my kids. Right away they asked if I had an appointment and I said yes. Told me to stand aside and not wait in line. Then we got greeted by the best, Jeff. He was friendly and we got the best customer service ever. I was hesitant to come here because of the bad reviews but trust me it was not bad at all. The process was smooth and he was so kind to me and my kids. Definitely recommend!”

“Good service. Kris helped us out as walk-ins for passports (we got lucky the office was not busy). He was courteous, walked us through the process and took our picture. We were done in a few minutes.
This office was clean and looked cared after. It was worth driving a few minutes out from Downey. If you need to do a passport walk in or schedule soon, go to this office they do walk-ins M-F, Downey does them only Thursdays. When I looked at the website this office had opened appointments with in 3 business days but Downey office was like 2 weeks out.”
“My experience here has been a lot more pleasant recently. The current staff members are a lot kinder and friendlier. One employee is particular is often cheerful which I love and now feel comfortable going to my local post office without having to interact with rude staff.”
“Needed to ship a box and send snail mail. Easy to find, plenty of free parking at rear of building. Once inside, although it has a smaller footprint it offers all the services.
Very convenient and these particular postal workers are genuinely nice and reliable!
Assuredly cheaper than those other large commercial shippers too.”
“This isn't my closest post office, but it's the one capable of handling larger shipments so I have to use this location often. A lot of times when I visit any postpost office, the clerk is never in the greatest mood, but there's one lady at this location that is an exception. She is a younger lady (clerk #55?) and I'll let customers bypass me in line just to be able to wait for her to assist me as she is so kind and helpful. She makes the experience a very pleasant one because of her outstanding customer service. I hope the manager at this location reads this and knows that this young lady is always there to help customers with a smile, and we truly appreciate it very much.”

This is where we processed our baby’s passport, and the whole experience was smooth and efficient. Highly recommended for excellent service and organization!”

“I had a positive experience replacing my lost passport. The woman completing the process for me was so kind and polite.
As a walk-in, without an appointment, I appreciate the patience of the USPS employee. She does require support with the queue as there are many walk-ins plus those with an appointment.
I’ve giving a five star as the individual helping me was amazing, she made me laugh and all - made me feel as if I wasn’t at the USPS office.”
“This is my local post office and have always had a good experience. I do see the sign on the door regarding being closed at lunch and have been lucky that I have never showed up at that time. All the times I have come service has been quick and the workers polite. Here are the latest posted hours for collection times if you want to drop something off in the box, even if the main mailroom is closed.”

“I came here with my siblings to renew our passports and i am extremely happy with the service and customer care, they had a lot of patience while we filled the forms and were making me feel very comfortable despite me coming in anxious. “Yes, they do close for lunch from 12:30-1:30 and yes, that should be posted on this page in big block letters! People should be aware that this is a small local branch in Old Town, so yes, there is typically only one person at the counter (occasionally a worker in back). There’s a big main branch less than two miles up Seal Beach Blvd if you’re worried about lines during the holidays (or you’re like, driving). Otherwise for those of us who are just walking over to mail a package, access a box, or send something certified mail, this place is friendly, helpful, quick, and super convenient.”
“I am a huge advocate for the USPS, especially now since younger people don't understand the difference between the USPS and UPS. The people who work here are nice and know me as a regular. And they usually have the newest books of stamps on offer so I always get mine there.”

“Everyone is great at this post office. I send out frequently and many get helped by the woman. They are always friendly and eager to help out. I have seen customers get frustrated at rates of the post office has (which is out of their control) and they handle each person professionally.
Very thankful for them and their work as well as how friendly they have always been.”

Box, and (like the name) more. Post office is full of lines, 25 clocked-in employees, but only 1 behind the counter. Go to Mail Plus More and save your time and patience. It's worth it!”
