“Not only is this post office so convenient from the Delaware St one, it has the nicest staff working there and they’re hard working at best! Always busy whenever I visit there.”
“I had the best possible experience applying for a passport at this location, and renewing my son’s passport. I was helped by Steven who was very patient, diligent, professional and friendly to me and my son. Thank you Steven and USPS San Carlos!”
“Could you please explain why there’s currently only one staff member assisting customers at the post office? The line has grown to about 15 people, and it’s been this way for quite some time. Are there any plans to return to having two staff members at the counter to help with the demand?”
“I came in at 4:55pm with a 25lb box, no shipping label, and no idea what service to use. They close at 5:00pm and I had full confidence that I wouldn’t get any help and would have to come back another day. I was so wrong! I was next in line and the clerk who took care of me was awesome. I said “I need help” to which he replied “I do too!” After a quick chuckle I told him I just need tracking, speed doesn’t matter. He gave me the cheapest option and got my label ready for me (the package to its destination in 2 business days for $28!). I was back in my car by 5:00pm. Every interaction I’ve had at this location has been very pleasant and the staff has been super helpful, knock on wood! That’s why I keep coming back to this one.”
“I've definitely had bad experiences at post offices: long lines, rude/impatient staff, random fees etc. This time was a lot different. I was trying to intercept a package before it was returned to sender for insufficient address(my fault). Raymundo was able to identify that the package was moved to a facility nearby to be sent back and he made a call for me. He found someone who was able to connect me with my package and was overall super helpful. Shoutout to my guy for the excellent work.”
“First time at this PO. Mind you, I've been to many, because I mail packages back home a lot. It was small but had all the necessary supplies for shipping, even a couple of local cards. Michael is not too friendly. I'd describe him as serious but polite, and that may have to do with him probably being the only clerk there. If you don't mind waiting and in no hurry, it's convenient for those of us who live in the area. He's a huge Warriors fan! From all the fan gear posted. Bay area sports represented, of course!”
“We went to apply for passports today because we didn't speak English, and the service at the front desk was very patient in helping us, so our family of five got it done quickly. Thank you to the post office staff for your help! ??”
“Paramjit is awesome - and her coworkers, too! Don’t know what everybody else’s problem is, but they’re polite, courteous and they do the best they can! This is my go to place lots of parking, what more could you ask for?”
“Alicia was Awesome to everyone. Do they know they have a homeless guy in front..?? (..wearing a ? tutu..talking to himself..)? I think he needs housing & help.. Hello Menlo??”
“Kudos to the employee who searched for my mail in the office and contacted the person who distributes mail to confirm they had it. My mail, which included my passport, had missing information, which is why it wasn't delivered for a month. She took the time to help me, and I truly appreciate her effort!”

“It’s okay. I like the ones that have the self service station as it’s much easier and this one does not have one. Still able to do what you need but be prepared to wait and stand in line for a good period of time.”
“Efficient, professional, patient, and respectful service every time -- I've never had any issues at this post office and would highly recommend this USPS location & the team!”

“Visited today, and the women behind the counter was very polite, efficient and helpful.
She was working alone, but quickly worked through the queue of customers, each with a happy greeting and pleasant demeanour.
Thanks!”
“I stopped by this Post Office to mail a birthday gift to a family member, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff was friendly and took extra care in packaging the fragile item securely. They also offered advice on the best shipping method for timely delivery. The rates were very affordable, especially considering the level of care and attention given to the package. My gift arrived on time and in perfect condition. I’m definitely coming back for all my future mailing needs!”
“Fast service, courteous staff, clean store containing a self service kiosk proving a convenient alternative to the full service counter. I was in and out within two minutes, even though I was third in line.”
“Some of the most nice and fast, kind postal employees ever. Thank you!!
Folks posting one star reviews do not have an idea of what bad service looks like.”
“Got my passport application done in 10 minutes. There was no wait. Tessa was very nice and explained everything very clearly. She also watches the line, when there is a shortage of staff, she rings the bell to make sure customers are served promptly.”
“Came here to mail something across the country. The post office is tucked away in building 6 and you have to enter through a back entrance. Luckily I had asked another employee where to go and gave me a tip that it was in a building that looked like it wasn't open (haha). Once I was in the building, the signs were super helpful. The post office itself was small but it had everything you needed. The woman working there, Thu, was super helpful and even helped me figure out what box to use in order to save the most money. She even helped me with packaging too. Overall great service and I'm glad I am close to here for any mailing needs. Avoids the usual long lines for sure. FYI: there are no self kiosks so you will need to wait. However, it doesn't seem like a very busy office to begin with.”
“This is one of two Post Offices in the area that I know of that has a Self-Service Kiosk AND where the lobby is open 24 hours - AMAZING ? LIFE SAVER! The other Post Office with 24-hour Kiosk access is in downtown Mountain View. SO GRATEFUL! I can never make it to the post office before they close - so I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 24-hr Self-Service Kiosk. You can buy postage, get Priority Mail packaging and mail it all on your own. We are so lucky to have this available to us and I hope they never decide to close the lobby. Thank you USPS. Big fan of this service!”

“I run a small business from my home and I go to this post office branch weekly to do large mailings, send priority packages, etc. The staff there are ALWAYS so helpful, patient and pleasant. The customer service has always been excellent and professional and they treat each customer with respect and courtesy. I would go out of my way to go to this branch because of the staff alone!”
