βEasy in, easy out. Straightforward and friendly. $65 out the door. There were cheaper options with coupons but this is just clean and straight forward. They were upfront about the price when I called. Showed up, gave them the key, took a short walk and it was ready when I was back in 15 minutes.β

βCheapest gas prices in the area. I always try to time my fill ups to stop by here when I'm driving to SF. Often there is a short wait. Convenient immediately off the freeway as you're driving south 101.
Because it's so popular, sometimes it can be a little nuts. I have more than once witnessed people block the other cars either by parking in the middle lane or just sitting in their cars in the one way lanes without actually pumping gas.
Also have issues with the fact that the pumps don't seal properly, so I can't lock it to continuously fill - I have to stand there and hold it. This is the only gas station I have been to with this issue.β
βNice, very clean, and new! The only thing I would change is the hours! I wish they opened earlier. I would rent a storage unit for tools, but 9:30 AM is just too late to have to go for work tools. They would probably get more contractors. The hours are kind of a turn-off.β
βWas in S.F. for medical treatment and had a punctured tire and had a 3 hour drive ahead of me. They saw me 1st thing and fixed the puncture, a large bolt. I made it home with no problems. Fast, courteous and inexpensive.β

βThe guys are cool. But the place is dirty. Of course there are a lot of messy people around there...so it would be a bit of work to constantly keep it clean. they need a janitor!!! But all in all they are pretty awesome cats. Daytime lady is very pretty and seems to be real cool.β

My favorite is the melon and watermelon and guava flavor drink mixed together and the horchata.. prices went up a little but it's worth the extra cents?β
βI popped a tire on 580 and limped into this station. First the staff turned on the air, and then when it became apparent that I had to put on the spare, they produced a jack -- and then insisted on coming out to help, brought a mat so we had a dry place to kneel (it was raining) and then made sure the spare was on tightly and helped me get it up to the right pressure. Their kindness made what could have been a scary and stressful situation perfectly manageable. I really appreciate it, and am so grateful. I'll be making a point of stopping in for gas and snacks. These guys are great.β
βThe Mobil stn on San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante (Faraz), is our go-to gas station for premium for our BMW. Our car runs smoothly using Mobil. My wish at this time is for the owner to participate with the Upside app so that customers could earn cash back for purchases here, and it doesn't matter whether cash, credit, or debit is used. The savings could be $.70/gallon. It is allowed with Arco, Shell, and 76 and others. Mobil should participate.β

βStation is small but good overall. I usually fill up ouside and rarely have to go in. Station is moderately clean and you can usually get in and out fast. They recently added canopy that was missing for long time.β

βOur daughter got a flat tire near this service station and the nicest man came over from the station and offered to help her change the tire. I believe his name is Osama. He took the tire off and discovered a nail and gave us a very reasonable quote for a new tire. The tire was changed in an hour! Excellent service. So we decided to get my Camry's 5K maintenance serviced here and are very happy with the job and the price. Yay, we've found our new service station!β
βNice service. My tires were low on air pressure so I used the machine to top up. Unfortunately the hose reel is stuck at the moment so youβll only have about 4 ft of hose to work with. That being said, the attendant was very helpful and came out to make sure I was alright.β

βWell this is the first time I looked up the cheapest gas in San Francisco and Arco came up at 14th and mission are gas station was cheaper by almost a dollar per gallon by my house I was happy.β
βI was passing by and when I saw the lowest gas price, couldnβt resist not pumping gas here. I donβt think I have seen anywhere else in San Francisco and its vicinity with lower gas price than this place. The quality of the gasoline was good too. Some places, when you pump gas and the super unleaded feels like regular unleaded. So far this location has been good in the octane additive sense.β
βGuy was great! I stopped by to see if I could do a walk-in smog check and he had no problems getting it done for me on the spot. He was very pleasant and diligent. Also, this place seems to have much better prices than other shops in the area. Highly recommend!β

βI don't know why, but I think gas station recommendations are just as/if not more important than restaurant recommendations. No, they're not sexy. And they're not very photo-worthy. But let's face it - we spend so much time in our cars, and everyone needs a gas station at least once every week or two. Since cars are the bane our of our Bay Area existence, doesn't it make sense to know the right place to refuel? That's why I want to give props to this Tiburon Unocal station. Here's what I like: - It's only a mile from where I live. - there's never a long line - It's clean - the gas is never overpriced - they have pumps if your tires need air - they have a compact convenience store for beverages, snacks, smokes, and other basic needs. - they also have bins where you can donate clothes to non-profits. So if you're in the Mill Valley/Tiburon area and you need to refuel (and maybe donate some old clothes/shoes), this Unocal station is your best bet. And then cross the street to Peets Coffee and reward yourself with a cappuccino.β
