Seriously, I think she might have a photographic memory or some kind of customer-service superpower. I was just walking through the mall today, not even shopping for jewelry, and she still remembered me! That level of attentiveness is rarer than the diamonds in the case.

Ester is professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly—like, the kind of friendly where you feel like a high roller, even if you’re just browsing. She follows up like a pro, making sure I got exactly what I wanted last time, and now I can’t imagine shopping anywhere else.

March 2024 - Saw Dan today for a nostril piercing. He was a true joy to work with. He did a great job of explaining everything and answering my questions. I did not feel nervous or anxious under his care. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I got to interact with a bunch of the staff here as well and everybody is super professional and very pleasant. The space is also beautifully decorated and cared for. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend anybody here.

I came in as a walk-in and they were able to get me in within about 2 1/2 hours which was not a problem since I live very close and could go home and just come back at the time they told me to be back.”

“​I don’t know how to fully explain just how happy I am with my engagement ring! I was lucky enough to be able to design my own ring after being proposed to with a Ring Pop. I worked with Jeff and explained exactly what I wanted with a few inspiration photos, and he quickly came up with a design that had everything I asked for.
​Once I gave the okay, I got a 3D print of the ring to try on so I could get a better idea of what it would look like on my hand and it was perfect. A few weeks later, I received the final ring and it was even better than expected! It’s so nerve wracking to put trust in someone to make your engagement ring, but it was a huge relief knowing Jeff does such great work. I’ve had a few pieces made by him before and he even redesigned my mother’s engagement ring. I am so happy with my ring and feel so lucky to know about this 'hidden gem' of a jeweler!”

“Botanic & Luxe is such a lovely spot. I love stopping by whenever I’m in downtown Santa Cruz. The staff is always so friendly, and the shop has a gorgeous selection of locally made art — prints, paintings, pottery, candles, and so much more. The aesthetic of the store is stunning, and it always smells amazing. It’s one of my favorite places to pick up a thoughtful gift.

I also really appreciate how the staff wraps purchases so beautifully — it adds such a sweet touch. I recently visited with my mom after we stopped by a craft fair happening downtown. She had bought some perfumes from one of the vendors and accidentally left the bag behind when we were browsing in Botanic & Luxe. After we left, she realized it was missing. We called the store, and at first the woman working (I believe her name was Heather) didn’t see it, but she took the time to look again and even called me back to let me know she’d found the small bag. We went back and picked it up without any issues.

Overall, the customer service here is incredible, and the shop itself is a true hidden gem full of quality items. Please shop local and support small women-owned businesses — places like this deserve it!”

He worked carefully with family diamonds and created something really special and unique. We were so happy to work with Atticus and cannot recommend him enough for any fine jewelry needs. “This review is long overdue (and also very long), but now it spans 5 years and a couple different projects that make William Greene a big part of my family’s story. My grandmother had a few pieces of vintage jewelry that over the years my mother had pulled from to make other pieces (matching necklaces for my sisters and me, etc.). She wanted as many family members as possible to have a part of this sentimental jewelry. After her passing, it was up to me to make sure her wishes were met that each of my nieces receive an item made from a pendant of my grandmother’s. It seemed important to have the right jeweler for this special project, and it only took a few minutes with William Greene to know we’d found the right people. Not only did he light up when he heard about the project, but he shared that he had inherited this business from his father and it was in his blood to make sentimental jewelry from heirloom items.

Over the course of a few months, William and his wife created some beautiful designs that allowed my nieces to have unique pieces from the same pendant. It was such a moving way to honor my mother, and felt so good that they seemed invested in the project too. The four rings, and a drop necklace were all perfect and my nieces were so moved to receive them. William also restored and resized a ring of my grandmother’s that I’m now able to wear.

Fast forward a few years when my husband was getting ready to propose. When he learned that I was in possession of my mother’s wedding ring and would like to have it reset as my own, he knew immediately whom to work with. He remembered a conversation from an early date about my meeting with William, who made a hard time mourning my mother a little lighter by his excitement to create such special pieces. He knew that William should be the one to make yet another precious item, the one I’ll wear the rest of our lives.

When my husband reached out to William and his wife, they remembered me and the past project. They were so happy to work with him on this next big item, and they even were able to work with him remotely, making sure that the ring was shipped with insurance. I love my ring, and I love that William and his wife were able to be such a part of my family’s story, spreading that beautiful legacy of heirlooms to new generations.

Our one minor note on both the projects would be that the communication on progress could’ve been a bit more consistent. However, the stunning finished products and the feeling behind the work far outweighs any minor delays in communication.”

“A few weeks ago, the setting fell out of my engagement ring. I brought it in immediately and was greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff here. They were able to help me order a new stone (a heart shaped amethyst, so they don't just work with common-cut diamonds) and set it for me. They did so in a timely manner at a very reasonable price, and the stone they suggested is gorgeous! Before, the stone was a duller color, and although this one's smaller, it's a richer purple and far more sparkly (and the new 6 prong setting looks much more secure than the original 5 prong setting). I couldn't be happier with the new life they've brought to my engagement ring!”
